I am currently a university student studying French and German. I do not currently speak Japanese, but I would eventually like to learn. I found out about the gothic lolita in December. It was the sort of style I had been looking for for awhile, but I did not know what that sort of thing was called. I was just lucky enough to stumble upon it.

Interests/likes: Dancing ballet (or just dance in general), fashion (lolita and gothic), music, almost all art...
I love to design costumes and outfits, I can sew a little bit and I hope to make a whole lolita outfit sometime. I love lace, and ribbons, and anything pretty. I like tea and tea parties. I like to bake cakes and stuff (even though I'm bad at it).
I like to draw, and make pixel art on the computer. I like to decorate my room with dolls and stuffed animals.
I've been a fan of Mana for a few years now.
My favorite kind of loli: EGL, and EGA but I like almost all kinds of loli.

And... yeah, I don't like forms too much, so I will stop with that. Basically, I just remember my friend mentioning the existence of a lolita guild. So, yes, I looked up the guild and there it was. xd
I like all sorts of lolita styles. EGL to EGA to Oujisama to Sweet to Waloli to... well, you see, anything! 3nodding
I'll probably be on at really weird hours at first, because I am getting over jet lag, but after that, maybe I'll actually be on at a decent time. Yay!

Info: I live in Sydney Australia, my family is scattered across Australia and Japan. I got into Lolita fashion during my trips to Japan on exhchange and to see family, and it was more the artistic form of the clothes that hooked me at first.
I also enjoy how elegant it looks, that and its something different.
I only just returned from Kagoshima Japan.

My name is Mary, I'm 19 years old, and I'm Mexican. I speak Spanish and English, and just a bit of Japanese and French. I love Japanese culture, which at least for me includes Lolita. I like EGL, EGA and Kodona more than Sweet and Classic Lolita. I love dolls and stuffed animals. My favorite is a teddy bear I found in a drift store which I took to Japan and Canada.
I was going to study Psychology, but I ended up getting in Mechatronics. Other than that, I love drawing and sketching, playing videogames, watching TV, and reading about many different things, like articles from Wikipedia.org.

Occupation: None. I just had a job working with kids with disabilities and special needs, but it ended, and didn't even pay minimum wage. t-t;
Intersts: Photoshop, Anime, Gaia, Lolita fashion, roleplaying, camwhoring.
A little about me: I go to school (and hate it), I like to sleep a lot, and eat desert. sweatdrop I don't have much of a life, and sit around on the computer most of the time. I like Rock/Alternative/Punk music, and some of my favorite bands are Nirvana, My Chemical Romance, Anti-Flag, The Pillows, The Used, and other stuff. I go to a lot of concerts. :3
My Lolita-ness:I've only gotten into Lolita over the past few months, and don't even remember how I stumbled upon the Lolita Culture. Unfortunately, I don't have a job yet, so I can't afford to buy clothing, so I improvise with what my mom will buy me. I'm interested in buying a corset soon, though I can't seem to find an affordable one. ~_~; I don't know how to sew ;-; my mom's not very crafty, and she won't pay for a class (not until winter, because the local craft store doesn't have air conditioning, and it's hot here in Southern California). My favorite brands seem to be Baby The Stars Shine Bright, Putumayo, and I sort of like Metomorphose Temps De Fille. I am more interested in the Elegant Gothic Lolita side of the Lolita culture.
For my future: I would like to go to Cal State San Francisco College, and land a career in Graphic Design (particularly marketing), or maybe start my own Lolita Clothing Brand that wouldn't be expensive, and widely available to American customers. :3
