"Yesh... coming in would be lovely." Remarked WIllow, glancing up. "But if yer afraid our ragtag group might invade this lovely abbey, you could just send down some vittles for some starvin' squirrels and omnivorous otters." She hoped intently that they wouldn't remember her.

The beast from the top of Redwall said, "You can come in, of course," as he opened the gates to let them in. "We're having a feast today, care to stay until the night?"

Willow ran in and moodily growled, "Cheater." Stiffening under the glares of the Redwallers and the giggling of the dibbuns, she stopped, and went back out to wait for Panos.

Panos walked in to the Abbey slowly, taking his time. Some dibbuns sneered at him because he was walking so slowly, and to dibbuns everything has to be fast.
Said Panos, "Well, I heard that there was a feast, where is it?"
A young mousebabe cried, "Don'tchu knows? Da feasties are ats nightytime!"
"Oh ho then," said Panos, "then the night time better come quickly, shan't it?"

Willow followed Panos into the Abbey quietly. Her eyes were wide as Abbeybeasts stared at her and her companions. Something did not seem right...
A burly not-Panos otter walked up to her and quietly slipped Willow's knife from its sheath, whispering to her, "No weapons in the abbey, miz...?" She whipped around to face the otter, placing a dark furred paw out for him to shake. "Willowtwig Reed, traveler extrodinaire an' carrier of many stories o' the land. And ye have just taken me knife withou' asking. Yeh could have just asked me to leave it outside. Or you'd probably be safer leaing it with me; I'm afriad I'm a useless fighter and would only accidentaly stab myself with it. Baaaaht rules be rules, I surpose, so I shall take that bck and bury it by the gate." She tried to relieve him of the knife and failed, the otter chuckling, "Hahah! This un's funny. I'll leave this little trinket right here," he twirled it and sent it spinning up, up, up... into a rafter beam. Willow growled and looked for her comrades to propse leaving after the feast.

Panos said, "Well, I'm sure we can get it down later. No need to be down, right Willow? Haha, get it down? Like, the dagger will come down-" Panos stopped as he heard boos and hisses from the young dibbuns. "Well, I think we should stay. Of course, if that's alright with you," he said to the dark-furred otter who had thrown Willow's dagger into the air.
"It's not my choice," said the otter, "it's hers." He motioned to a very old mousemaid sitting at the head of the great oaken table. "She's the abbess."
The very old mouse looked up at the diverse travelers. "If you are goodbeasts who would not ever harm an innocent creature, you have a place to stay in our home."
Panos turned to his companions. "Shall we stay?"

((Hope you don't mind me joining in. I'll introduce all three of my characters at once, a color change means it's a different character.)) Missy Brightstar, an otter, walked towards the Abbey, her icy blue eyes glancing at the sea rat sword strapped to her side while her right paw strayed to the sling on her hip, an action that did not go unnoticed by her white hare companion. "Missy, we're going there peacefully, and besides, you never needed your sling or sword when we went to the Abbey before," Demetra Straightarrow, a blue eyed white hare, chided before smiling at their hedgehog friend behind them. Maya Stoughtspike, an unusual mute albino hedgehog, listened to her friends as they began to bicker over the necessity of Missy's weapons as she returned Demetra's smile.
