I just found out today that I will be going on a week long trip to New Orleans free of charge. I will be leaving on Monday, and I won't be back until Friday night. Therefore, I think it would be best to wait and launch the event when I get back. If I'm not here, I can't give out prizes and stuff. Also, I would hate to miss a party that I set-up. sweatdrop I feel like a horrible captain with all of these delays, but I want to make sure that we can all enjoy ourselves without worry. I will be sending out an announcement so everyone can be ready for the launch.

My immune system must be pretty poor. But, I was only really sick for two days this last time. After getting a steroid shot and antibiotics, I was feeling great. I recovered really quickly too, so this was a fairly short sickness. Apparently I caught what everyone else in the family has had, but I ended up having a much shorter case of it than everyone else. I guess it's because I got antibiotics early on. I'm perfectly well now though. heart

I have. I didn't get the clerical job, but the lady with whom I interviewed put in my resume for another position. I think she said it was in medical billing. I still haven't heard back from the tea shop job yet. I'm leaving on Monday morning for New Orleans, and I won't be back until Friday night. I'm going with my church on a mission trip, so I don't know if we'll actually get to do any sightseeing or not. It's because of the trip that I pushed back the summer event yet again. I just hope they don't call me for an interview while I'm down there. I'm not going to have internet access the entire time I'm gone.

Medical billing? Over clerical? Hm, okay, I guess they know what they're doing.
But given your education and experience, clerical makes more sense to me.
If they call you while you're in New Orleans, mention that you're there volunteering.
That way they know that you have a more than legitimate excuse,
and it's another way to make yourself look like a delicious employee.

I don't know anything about medical billing, but I guess they think that I'm bright enough to learn everything quickly. Thanks for the prayers! I'll send you pictures when I get back. heart

I'm back from my trip to New Orleans! heart It seems like it's been really quiet in here since I left. Hopefully, the Japanese festival that we're launching early Monday morning will bring some life back to this guild. biggrin

Everything is set-up and ready to go. biggrin Everything has been ready for two weeks, but I delayed it because I was gone for a week.
I had a great time in New Orleans, but it was very tiring. I went with my church group, and we were doing charity work the entire time we were there. We did get to explore the French Quarter and buy souvenirs the last day, though. 3nodding
