What kind of fangirl doesn't do that? Once you're into yaoi, it's kind of hard to ignore all the subtle hints (even if its all in our heads) of pairings.
For an example, Axel and Roxas from Kingdom Hearts.

All the time. I rarely do it with non anime movies/tv shows and books, so its mostly video games and animes. My brother (who hates yaoi) is so fed up with my pairing up all the guys in animes that he generally only watches shoujo animes now xDD
My friends, on the other hand, kind of just laugh whenever I start going on about a new pairing that really never should have happened (SeiferxHayner from KHII. Seriously, they think I'm crazy for that one).

Haha. I don't do it exclusively with slashing characters -- I tend to pair up characters that may or may not have any business together whether they're both guys, both girls, or one of each.
Honestly, I'm pretty sure the majority of my pairings aren't canon or even suggested to be canon. xD

  I prefer the seme to be the most manly looking one, but it does not HAVE to be that way... take Naona Bohra's works, for example, usually her uke and seme are both muscular and tall... making either one available to be the seme. There is also shota to think about... when it's 2 little boys, both are gonna be scrawny and weak... and if you can even stand shota, you'd have no problem who the seme will be since they both match in looks (being short and scrawny). So really, it doesn't matter who the seme is (IMO).

Kurokon Yachimaru Yamato How should I put this? Are you the type of Fangirl that puts people together (boys) even though the anime itself is not Yaoi? e.g. Yoh and Ren from Shaman King etc., etc... I know I am....lol Completely, totally, and unrepentantly. I mean, how boring is it to stick with just the canon pairings? Fanon's all about fantasy and fetish! ...and that whole "showing appreciation for something you love" thing, but mostly fantasy and fetish. *shot* Crack pairings are my anti-drug. biggrin
