I actually got a picture of Mercury covering his eyes with his paw the other night. He's the only one of my 3 that will shield his eyes from light.
An apartment update, we signed the lease for another duplex an hour ago. They're giving us March free, allow us the cats and the place is huge and gorgeous for only $25 more a month then we were going to pay for the other one.

that's great! it sounds like you found a much better living arrangement.
anlina, how is violet (and her eye) doing?
hm. grumbles likes eating herself. i just say that whenever i find her grooming herself. because it really looks like she's eating herself. she's eating her paw pads now.
i am being random again. must get back to creating midterms @_@.

Awwwwww too cute!
So the test results came back and she has an uncommon bacterial infection and is now on a 28 day course of tetracycline, three times a day in both eyes. Poor girl.
I'm just glad it's something that can be fixed and isn't herpes or anything like that.

thanks heart . it looks like the lamp is just tall enough and wide enough for grumbles to stick her head in and inspect the bulb. or warm her nose. or both.
i'm glad violet is doing okay, anlina. well, on her way to being okay, at least.

Well, while holding that all important knowledge she will never have a cold nose, and you will never have a light bulb on the fritz. rofl So, I'm apparently not that observational Cardi - I just realized you were a fisher.

Ugh, every time I pick up Violet she thinks I'm going to put goop in her eyes and she struggles to get away. Sadly, half the time, she's right. Three more weeks of eye ointment gonk At least she still comes to see me and cuddle... I was worried she was going to develop a grudge and be mad at me.

Lady doesn't stop knocking things off of tables. gonk
I had to go rooting around the underneath of my bed 'cause she got up on the headboard when I was sleeping and knocked my phone, glasses, and mp3 player all down behind there.
Still need to find my DS stylus, too.

Unknown Variable Lady doesn't stop knocking things off of tables. gonk If you can figure out how to stop this, please let me know. I've tried the spray bottles but they're smart enough to know they only get sprayed if mum is around and has a spray bottle, so they're aware of when they can get away with being on the table and when they can't. Every day I come home from work, half the stuff on the coffee table is on the floor, and I often find stuff from the kitchen counter on the floor or stuff from the headboard on the bed.

thanks ^^. feel free to copy it if you want.
mitts also knocks things off tables. i kinda figured it's his way of bullying any inanimate object that's smaller than him. there are some days when he's especially bad, and some days he ignores stuff on tables. still haven't figured out how to make him stop, though.
i did figure how how to stop him from batting at closed blinds. i put tape, sticky side up, on the windowsill. he hates how his paws stick to them. he tried to bat at the blinds without putting his paws on the sill, but he can't reach that far.
it took me over a year to figure out that one gonk .

My cat pushes almost everything on my table, even when I'm staring or screaming at her... She pretends to stretch cutely and gives me those BIG lovely eyes and her hands push everything off while pretending to stretch. then she uses her tail to clear those small items away and pushes the others off. Then, she makes herself comfortable on my already empty table. lol My mum told me to train her not to, but I still pamper her... xd
