Shira pressed on, almost afraid. The lava bubbled over the top of the volcano and began flowing down the side of the hollow mountain in a slow but steady stream. Shira found the connection between her and Arious and began to channel the lava through, but something was seriously wrong. Before her eyes, the lava began to separate from itself as a purple goo slipped through the connection but the hot red lava did not. What was going on? She began to panic and fought down the feeling as her body heated up even more.

Tsunisa bit her lip. He wasn't waking... "... Treize..." Even more tears poured out of her eyes. "I... I have to get him to Mrs. Victoria..." She tried to pick him up as gently as possible and sling his arm around her neck. He was a bit heavier than she thought he was. Tsunisa struggled to drag him along back to his mother's den.
Kazelina took several steps back from the horse again. "Oh my! Wings! O-on a horse!" She gazed at the pegasus in awe. In Salin, there was no such thing as a winged horse. But... here one was! Right before her eyes. Kazelina slowly stepped closer to it again. "Beautiful..." She murmured.

Arious took a sharp breath as his magic flowed back into him. It shocked him, but he ignored the pain concentrating on Shira. Her skin was practically scalding his skin as he held her hands. You can do it... just keep it up... He didn't know how to stop the heat. But he knew as soon as he got his magic back, he could at least cool her down with a freezing spell he had learned from Helios.
Treize shivered slightly and his white furred ears twitched at the sound of her voice as if he were listening.
The pegasus kneeled before her, offering its back as if it wanted her to get on.

Tsunisa pressed onward. As she made her way through the forest, she felt guilt grip her. "It's my fault, isn't it?I wasn't paying attenton. I ran into you and knocked you off the edge... I hurt you." She sniffled, breathing in small, forced gasps of breath. "I'm sorry, Treize. I didn't mean to push you off the cliff." Tears were now making her vision warped. She managed to make out Victoria's den in the distance, but after that, most everything was foggy.
Kazelina stared at the winged creature. It was wanting... her? But why? She didn't even know this magnificent beast, or anyone whom it might belong to. "You want me to get on?" She saw the pegasus nod its head, and neigh affirmatively. Cautiously, Kazelina approached its back. "Well, all right then." She climbed onto his back and situated herself. "So, what now?" She asked curiously.

Shira felt herself enter her mindscape fully, no longer feeling the pain from her body. Her body remained upright, but now her voice would be nothing more than an echo in Arious's skull.
Shira looked up at the raging volcano towering above her. She wiped a bit of sweat from her brow and focused on channeling the magic through the tunnel that had appeared. "This volcano was never here before," she muttered. "There was always only a beach, filled with sand. I'd come here in my dreams to refill my bag. Behind the beach was a plain and..." Her eyes widened. "And a mountain." Then the lava did something rather strange: it lifted itself from the rock, like a big tentacle and launched itself towards Shira. She dodged it in surprise. "Did you see that?" she cried.
Larken looked around, realizing for the first time he was back in Hyrule. But where? That he did not know. He was obviously somewhere on the Field, but he had not been back in so long it was difficult to get his bearings.

"Have you ever considered having children, then?" Darious asked in the sweetest voice he could muster. He pressed his own body against hers, and moved the hair out his face. He couldn't say explained what possessed him to consider a child, aside from the fact that Arious had a child and he was beaten in that area of expertise. He wasn't going to let Arious beat him in anything.
Vaati sighed. It didn't look like Opal was going to wake up anytime soon. Perhaps the patrol outside wouldn't notice a cat outside. Biting the inside of his mouth to suppress a scream, Vaati transformed and jumped down from the bed. He poked his head under the tent and slid himself out the other side.

"Who are you?! Why are you here?!" Diel shouted to the poe.
"I believe I have already answered both. I am but a mere shadow, a wandering soul who wishes to repay a debt."
The poe remained unfazed even with the volume of Diel's voice.
Diel could feel the amulet begin to act up again.
"You can sense it, can't you? The amulet's power building up? Be careful. That amulet is directly linked to your soul. If you are at a great enough imbalance, then it will activate."
"Who put this on me? Tell me, who decided this? Who dared to betray me?! You know, I know you know!" Diel ignored the amulet's glow.
"Be very careful, young king. The taste of truth can be quite bitter." With a haunting laugh, the poe vanished into a puff of light blueish purple fire and was gone.
(Yeah, now would be a good time to try and calm Diel down. XD).

Arious watched as Shira dodged. His eyes widened in amazement. "Whatever you do... Do not let it touch you!" He ran toward her silently and shook his head. What could it be? Could something dark inside her be trying to possess her... and take hold of her conscious? Well, he didn't want to find out.
Tris was very quiet for a moment. A small blush was on her face but she tried to hide it. "I... well... It's not something I think about... but..." Trisiana was enjoying Darious against her... But she was feeling a tad bit nervous. She swallowed and whispered. "Are... you suggesting.. that we...um...?" She watched him carefully trying to figure out what he wanted to do. Father would kill me... and him for eloping... Yet... it sounds adventurous... Would he even be ablee to make a baby? Trisiana bit her lip slightly anticipating the answer from the very desirable man on top of her. Somehow he always smelled good and tempting. Was he doing it on purpose to seduce her...? It just might have been working...
Treize didn't move at all except for moving when Tsunisa lugged him about.
The horse reared and flapped its wings. There was howling from the ground below, but that only made the pegasus start galloping forward to find the source of the voice.
"Don't be deceived!!!"

(Arious has got it so wrong on so many levels... Mwa ha ha ha ha...)
"Not planning on it," Shira muttered, jumping over another strand of lava. It was getting harder to hold the volcano's power down the more she filtered Arious's magic from her own system. Something big was going to happen, and she wasn't sure she wanted to find out what it was. Yet something told her to let the volcano pour over her. She shook off the urge and kept sweeping the foreign magic through the connection. Her power on the volcano weakened. "Crap," she muttered. "Not good at all."
Shira's tunic began to smoke.

"It's funny, becuase biologically speaking, I don't know if a shadow could do such things with a human. Or part of human in your case. That's what makes your father so different from the rest of us Shadows." Darious explained, laying his head down next to her head. Then he smirked and stroked her cheek softly with her hand."Though, I'm sure there are... [i[other ways to make a baby."

Arious didn't know what to do. At each passing moment, he felt stronger and stronger and more confident. He dodged some of the tentacles himself and thought silently. 'Perhaps it is part of her magic trying to break free, encouraged by mine... Yet... I don't know how that would work. Her magic does not even fell remotely similar to my own...'
Trisiana trembled slightly at his touch enjoying the closeness they were sharing. Where ever his fingers touched, he left her skin tingling. She closed her eyes and whispered his name softly. "You're... seducing me..." She rested her hand on his side just wanting to touch him... perhaps even without his fancy shirt on. "Other...ways..?" She murmured, captivated by how he could be so.... serious in words at a moment like this.

(Okay, now he's getting warmer.)
Sweat poured down Shira's skin as she struggled to hold the volcano down. It became more difficult with every passing second, as though a ton of bricks had been dropped on her shoulders. Her arms shook as the last of Arious's magic left the volcano. Instantly her power on the volcano broke. Before she could utter a sound, an unusually thick strand of lava opened like a net over Shira and swallowed her whole.
Shira collapsed, her skin simply beyond burning. Her tunic caught fire, as did her hair.
Larken turned abruptly. Something had happened to his sister.
(That should give you a good run for your rupees.)

Arious was jerked out of the dream when lava began consuming everything. His hands were schorched as he was blasted away. He cried out as he hit a tree. After shaking his head free of the blurred vision, he saw Shira and gasped. "Shira!" He immediately was at her side trying to think of a spell to stop the flames. Where was Endymion when he needed him? The only thing he could think of doing was putting a spell on her where she would be numbed to pain. "Damn! I got to get her cool!" He breathed on his hands lightly then picked up Shira's body enveloping himself in spell so he wouldn't burn as well as her. "Water... water... The river by the castle...!" He immediately dashed off in tat diretion hoping he wouldn't e too late. "Stay with me..."

Ebony didn't know what to do. Diel was steaming with anger, and the poe had confused her beyond her imagination. She shook her head to clear her thoughts. She had to help Diel. From what the poe had said, something about an imbalance in his emotions caused the amulet to activate. "I assume that means..." She had a quick flash back to when the keaton transformed into diel after the amulet glowed. "That's it!" Ebony rushed over to Diel. "Diel! You have to calm down! If you don't, you'll turn into that fox thing again! Or, maybe even something worse!" She pleaded.
Tsunisa finally made it to victoria's den. "Madame Victoria! Please! Treize needs help!" She shouted. She kept moving forward until, finally, she collapsed, and Treize's body hit the floor. She gasped, rolling him over on his back again.
Kazelina held on to the pegasus tightly. Whatever he was searching for, it must have been extremely important. Then, she heard some voice in her head that distracted her for a moment. "Huh? What was that?" Kazelina quickly snapped out of it when the pegasus jumped over a fallen tree branch, making her nearly fall off.

Everything around Shira glowed bright orange. Her skin burned as if it was on fire. She struggled not to scream. Was she lost in her own mind? It seemed likely. Desperately she clawed at the lava, hoping to find which way was up. The lava seemed to suddenly cool. With a start she realized it was being absorbed into her own skin. Suddenly the lava beneath her palm became as pliable as child's clay. What was going on?
Shira's skin gradually began to cool as the fire slowly ate away at her tunic. Her bag remained untouched, but it glowed with an unnatural light.
Larken turned and quickly spotted Arious running across the field, Shira's limp form in his arms. He followed behind at a distance. Had the mage done something to Shira?
