Sputino you are so incredible!!

This past year, multiple friends have tried convincing me
to join them in attending a con... but I was hesitant
to think that I would have fun there, as I am notsomuch
an anime fan, and don't even consider myself a fan of Japanese culture.

BUT EVERYTHING LOOKS SO AMAZING.
I JUST WANT TO GO AND SEE ALL THE COOL PEOPLE
AND EAT STUFF AND BUY STUFF AND AND AND

*pant pant*

Definitely not skipping on the experience next year.

I thought I recognized Asuka and Maki when you first posted those photos,
but I was hesitant to point them out because I am still very new to the lolita scene
(and still learning the important names and faces) and if it turned out not to be them,
I would feel so stupid and noobish for saying so.

Now I kinda just feel proud of myself for successfully recognizing them in the first place. <3

AND HOLY FLSADHLAGDHSADHS I HAD NO IDEA THAT WAS TARINA TARANTINO.
I first heard her name when she released a Hello Kitty line,
and then again when she had a collector's edition Barbie doll designed by her. XD
So that goes to show you where my interests lie.

Going to a convention, if you go with friends, is a total blast even if you're not that into anime or manga or whatever the convention is geared towards. People watching alone is an awesome way to pass the time at those kinds of events.

... and I'm a sucker for taking photos of people. So. <_<

Yes they are little twinkle stars. x3 I love these shoes so much, it's absolutely ridiculous.

And the two things about the petticoat: It's seriously fluffy and it's super comfy. :3

I've been looking at all the photos that everyone has posted. Every photo was beautiful!
Here are a few of mine:

We didn't really plan this, it just happened one evening at anime club.
Left to right: Wa-Lolita, Gothic Lolita, EGL/Kuro-Lolita? (me), Angelic/Sweet Lolita? (Gaia user Princess Bunny-chan)
The other three bought their outfits somewhere on the interwebs. I can ask them, if you'd like.
My outfit:
Top: Lady Heather
Broach: Bygones
Skirt: Act II (thrift store)
Crinoline: Bygones
Socks: nothing special.......
Shoes: Little girl's shoes from a shoe store...

I got a new wig, and new boots for my up-coming Circus Print and Vampire Requiem coordinates! :3

I was going to post just boots of the photos on the F&S thread, but I couldn't find the ones I bought online. So, since I couldn't find stock photos on Skechers' site, I decided to take these:

Please excuse the messy couch and the Christmas tree. Also, this is not my "ideal" coordinate for this outfit. I like it, but it's not quite balanced enough for my tastes.

I'm waiting on a brown blouse and a pair of brown x ivory socks, yet. The socks I wore for these photos have little bows that match the goldenrod top, but neither is a "perfect" choice for the outfit in my opinion. The socks I'm waiting for are the Meta cotton raschel border socks, so the lace is super thick and will fluff down over the tops of the boots. :3

There are too many for me to comment on them all one at a time,
but I truly admire your tastes and skills!

This serves as so much inspiration for me to get to work on
sewing all of my stuff...
