I'm taking Simirel on vacation to the seaside to meet up with some of our common friends. We'll probably be offline untill next Saturday (Aug 17th).

I am still home from the hospital, but I am also still very sick, very tired all the time and very weak. I hope to get my two tanks up and running soon, but I am have stopped trying to guess when that might be. I miss you, my Panther friends. I hope you're all doing well.

I'm not absent or away....just extremely distracted with a touch of malaise. My daughter who I have had the extreme joy of being her mom has been spending the last few months getting ready to move to Portland (where the tattoo ink never runs dry). So from out of nowhere I start to cry. I am not looking forward to the "empty nest". She'll be only three hours away, but it is in another state. So some words of encouragement is welcomed. We are also at the 1 year anniversary of the passing of her boyfriend. cat_cry

I'm a disabled single mom, my daughter is a Type 1 diabetic...we are so damn close, and she started high school last Monday. 4 more years till college. Some people might say that's ages away...but as any parent knows, 4 years is the blink of an eye. I can't imagine what it'll be like when she's off to college. It's what I want, what I've dreamed of for her for years, but just thinking about it now makes me teary...I am thinking about you...

Blink of a eye is pure truth. Starting high school ..... such mixed emotions. Proud that you can see the person their starting to become and panic for the very same reason. College much easier, but now, she's moving away. I hope your daughter enjoys and has a successful freshman year. Try not to blink or even sleep because it goes by so very fast.

I work every Monday and I usually don't log on because I work all day. But if I can log on, I will. c:

Glad you are home from the hospital. Just concentrate on a full recovery and worry about the fish later. emotion_hug

My daughter is already at university and my son starts soon. My house is going to be very quiet and lonely after the holidays. 3 hours is not so far away and there is always the internet.

No problem we all have days where we cannot be here for one reason or another. Work is your priority.
