Ebony and Ivory both stared at Diel. "Poe?" They both asked at the same time. What was a poe? In Salin, that wasn't even a word. Ebony slowly pried herself off of the wall and stepped to the side. She didn't want to be cornered, and she really didn't want to be within range of his sword. "I'm Ebony, and this is my sister Ivory. And, if we knew where we were, we wouldn't be lost, now would we?" She replied with a slight hint of an attitude in her voice.

"Don't play dumb with me! I can see right through a woman's facade! If you truly have no idea where you are, then show me some proof of where you are from!" Diel's voice was booming.
If he learned anything from the Gerudo it was to never trust an innocent girl.

Ebony took a step back. Proof of being lost? That was going to be hard to do, considering they usually wandered around a lot. "And how exactly could we prove that we're not from here?" She asked. Then, a thought struck her. Did they even have weird temple-like places anywhere in Salin? "Hmm... By the way... are we still in Salin?"

"...Salin? I have never heard of such a place..." Diel said, easing up a bit and lowering his voice.
(Oh yeah, Diel is not trusting of girls. At all. Just thought you might want to know that. XD)

Eh, nothing.)
Ebony and Ivory looked at each other with concerned faces. "Meaning... this world that we're in... This isn't Salin?" Ivory asked as she turned to face him again. It wasn't really that they minded not being in Salin. They had no where to go or stay anyway, but now they would have to learn the landscape and people. And that could be a little dangerous.

"... No... This world is called Hyrule." Diel said as he sheathed his swords. He had a feeling this girl wasn't lying. After all, they did come out of a portal.
"This area is the Gerudo Desert, and I am its king. My name is Diel." He said, his expression was still stern, but he was at ease. Well, as at ease he could be after knowing he had been unconscious against his will. He wondered how long he had been out.

The two girls shook their heads in disbelief. "K-king!?" They shouted. They both eyed him up and down multiple times. He didn't exactly look like a king, but maybe this 'Hyrule' had an odd sense of regal attire. Then again, he didn't have a crown either. "I... see. Then... what are you doing in this place?" Ebony asked.

Diel's face turned into a bitter scowl.
"That is exactly what I am going to find out." He looked down at the ground as he spoke.
Without much interest in the girls anymore, Diel turned and started to make his way out of the temple. After all, he certainly had more important matters to attend to. His destination was to visit the village elders.

Once again, the two girls stared at Diel. Ebony turned to her sister, thinking to herself. "Well... We don't really know how to get out of here, so should we follow him?" She asked.
Ivory stared at Diel for a few more seconds before looking back at Ebony again. "I don't like it, but I don't think we have a choice. Let's follow him, but I think we should stay out of his way, just in case." She glanced over at a blank spot on the wall for a split second, then back at her sister. "Go on ahead and follow him. I can find you in mere seconds, so go on ahead." After Ebony has ran off to follow Diel, Ivory floated over to the wall. "I know you're here. It's not that hard to sense another spirit's energy." She murmured.

Diel heard footsteps behind him, and realized that the girls needed to know the exit as well.
"If you're going to follow, then stay close. This place is rigged with traps." Diel then placed his right foot forward and quickly retracted it. Two spiked discs snapped together quickly where Diel's foot had been, and then gone back to their original positions.
"... Like that." He said, glad he remembered the positions of the traps in the temple.

"Well, the only reason I can show myself now is because you're here." Tythia shifted from her reaper to her spiritual form. "I know you know who I am... usually a spirit seeing a reaper meant they were going to be dragged back to the spiritual realm, but in your case it's different... I'm not here to take you back, I'm here to protect you. It's his orders." Tythia stepped down onto the ground, looking in the direction they went. "You better go after your sister... who knows what trouble she could get into next." With that she vanished again.

Ebony's eyes widened when she saw the two discs. If someone were to step there unknowingly, they would lose more than their foot. "Uh... right." She stood in one place while she looked around at every corner. After making sure everything was clear, she slowly made her way up close to Diel.
Ivory shook her head. "'His' orders?" She thought to herself. She didn't even know what a reaper was. Nevertheless, the girl was right. With Ebony's curiousity, she could easily get into trouble in the mere minutes Ivory had been away. Hopefully, that Diel guy would be able to keep her out of such trouble.

((My head was fuzzy before coming here, and now I'm nothing but now I'm just completely confused. I'm lucky all my posts seem to concern Lisaya only, unless Sazs wants to join the baby fun. e.e))

It took a while, but Diel easily navigated through the temple. Nothing had appeared to have changed significantly. Everything was in its proper order, the rooms and traps all remained the same, but something seemed... off about them to Diel. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, however. He turned a corner, and stopped. Searching, he managed to find two strange devices that looked like tops with gears along the sides. They weren't too large, they could easily fit into the palm of one's hand.
"Here, take it. You'll need it later." Diel handed one of the tops to Ebony.
"Here we are." Diel said as he pulled the door open. Outside was a field of sand surrounded by rocky cliffs. At the end of the field was the desert. Diel didn't hesitate to take in the scenery, though. He continued walking until he reached the sands, and then stopped.
(Okay, so this isn't Twilight Princess, but those items are the best thing to happen to the Gerudo Desert. Plus, I'm pretty sure they were considered ancient technology.)

Ebony took the strange device and analyzed it a bit. "The heck?" What was this thing? Apparently, she would need it, but what for? Regardless, she stored the item away in a small bag. "Well, at least that one guy won't find us in this world. I mean, there's no way he could possibly know we fell into a portal, or even that other worlds existed." She thought. Ebony stopped behind Diel when he stopped at the sands. A quick jolt of fear shot through her for a quick moment, but vanished when she noticed that it wasn't deathly hot here. "That's strange. In Salin's wasteland, the heat is so intense, you could dehydrate and die within the first couple minutes, unless you have some sort of protection." She stated. Suddenly, Ivory flew up behind Ebony out of no where.
"I'm back!" Ivory gave Ebony a delightful smile, and then turned to Diel. "Did my sister cause you any problems?" She asked sarcastically. She loved picking on her older sister, simply because she was virtually immortal... even though she was dead.
