We didn't have much of one this year because it took so long to warm up. It's probably gonna be a cold summer again this year because the lake is frozen, again. (It didn't actually un-freeze this summer which is why it was so cold).
It might have helped more if the books were talking xD They were just there, mocking me with pictures of their sunny beaches.

Aw, I'd say come and visit me and Unno, but yeah it gets real damn hot. They speak to you with their prettiness, mocking you with what you can not hae right then. Oh they know what they're doing. Doing the bouncy muppet dance, no doubt~ >w<

Yes, you might have to keep me in the freezer on occasion, but I am seriously considering a road trip to one of those warmer states. You would have to keep me on the freezer on those hot, hot days thought > u <
They are awful mean books < n < This is why I ordered travel guides for Finland emotion_awesome
(also because people keep asking for them and we don't have any)

Yeah, I checked Site Feedback and saw users complaining about the addition of eyebrows since exactly as I said: eyebrows had their own pose, they should have left the item alone. Have you tried Summer Haircut? I think it might still be long though o.O
I changed though, now I won't Minty for another 1000 years~
-2 hours later- xPI got them because they were cheap, but I drew a headshot yesterday and like the way they are. I always just used Pilot pens for drawing so to have pens that are thin and not smearing for me, I was literally like emotion_kirakira the whole time drawing. SHOPPING TIME -sits in the basket-
Of course, right when it's released, I must get a drawing to use for the wedding invitations o Ao!

Summer cut is longer, more of a short page-boy than a pixie. I did have it on my wishlist for awhile, but I think I decided to go with pink hair instead. Maybe I'll buy it or put it back on the wishlist.
*sigh* I'll just keep waiting until some awesome item artist goes "Hey, you know what we need more of? Pixie cuts."
And then Gaia will have all my money. xD

Minty Delight on ice~ Yes, come for a visit then. Hehe, that will show those pesky picturesque beaches. One of my personal favorites~ I want to watch Muppet Treasure Island now, also Labyrinth. Because all my love for Labyrinth~ Unno Rokuro I got them because they were cheap, but I drew a headshot yesterday and like the way they are. I just watched it the other night! Labyrinth is a fantastic movie and will always have a squishy place in my heart. And Dark Crystal too! Oh! And Farscape. I wish Jim Henson studios would make more things!

It was kind of rainy and cold here today. So temp wise, probably okay for you to visit. Lucky~ Yes, Labyrinth and Dark Crystal have a special place in my heart as well. That would be wonderful. Did you know there were mangas made for both? The cover art on Return to Labyrinth was all gorgeous, but the actual art in it was done by another and not as yay. I still got all of them. I missed getting the second one for the Dark Crystal though.

I did see the Labyrinth comic when it came out! I remember flipping through the book deciding if I should get it or not and not really being too into the story. It felt super fan-fictiony to me at the time. I remember liking the art, but I didn't have the greatest discerning eye in high school xD
I've re-watch some of the anime that got me into art then and have wondered what was wrong with my eyes that I couldn't see how poorly drawn so much of it was xD

The story did leave a lot to be desired, but I loved those covers. Aw, what animes were they?

Trigun and Chobits! Trigun I am not even sure they understand what a human body is, and Chobits just draws the same girl over and over again with different hair. It's really annoying once you notice it xD

You know, I don't think I ever looked too closely at the art of Trigun. Chobits, yeah. Still adorable though. Clamp has an interesting style. I like Card Captor Sakura and Tsubasa, but then there's xxxHolic. That one always gets me with the super elongated bodies.

CLAMP can be all over the place with their art. Some of it's really good, some of it is like...ummm...what? But I think it's because they experiment more. The long-limbs in the Holic manga came off more of a stylized thing, but when it was translated to anime it got super freaky super fast. Sort of how like Picasso has some really great paintings that I like looking at BUT IF SOMEONE ANIMATED THEM I THINK NOT. GOOD DAY SIR.

I'll have to look at it, it's been ages. Yeah, they do seem more willing to try different things. In the manga it seemed to work, but yeah it's just jarring to look at the anime. Okay that would be creepy . . . gonk
