"Well we had best get moving. The blockade's gone, most of the water is out, and for what we have here, the ship is patched up." Eiji turns from facing the ocean to facing the team. "Time is against us again, so we'd best get going. Eiji catches sight of the eagle taking rest in the Crow's nest.I think I understand now... he thought to himself.

The whale, the eagle, the kitten; they're all the same person. A shapeshifter, Onyx thought, having been thinking along the same lines.

Acos nodded. "A nice one, seeing as when my head was bleeding, she tried to lick the blood away."

Onyx shrugged slightly. Perhaps, but I'd rather be certain, he thought.

Acos sat down. "So...where are we going again?" she asked.

"Aisa, that is where Willow is," Onyx said dryly. He crossed his arms over his chest as he leaned against the banister of some of the steps.

"So specific. Where in Asia?" Acos asked.

Onyx shrugged. "Not sure; I'd guess Japan or China, most likely," he said. Of course, we'd have to deal with samurai in both areas, he thought.

"We're not sure." Eiji shakes his head. Samurai hmm, should be too hard for me. Eiji creates a small gust that then forms in the old katana that he used to have before the stone. He grips the handle of it and waves it through the air.

Onyx chuckled, pushing from the banister. Trust me, my fighting style is far more unusual than anything a samurai could come up with, he thought, half amused. He drew his own katana, its black blade flickering in the light, reflecting dark purple shimmers up the blade. The blade flickered up and out like a snake striking several times before a crescent slash that moved so quickly into a rapid horizontal slash and stab it seemed to flow together, as if a dance of steel. Onyx sheathed the blade just as smoothly, glancing at them.

"Samurai? Pssh. We've dealt with demons. Samurai should be easy enough." Acos said.

"In large numbers they may make it a problem, as well as any archers they use," he said dryly. Onyx sighed. We have to beat Tarik to her; keep her alive, he thought.

Acos nodded. That could be a problem, the archers. But if Eiji and I fly high enough, they can't hit us.

Onyx grinned. I have some very unorthodox tricks I've gained, and trust me, flight isn't something I need; some of those tricks are not just useful in combat, but they're humiliating... some of 'em, he thought with a slight bit of amusement.

A tension mark appears on Eiji's temple as he listens to Acos and Onyx's conversation. "One would think that a more peaceful approach would be better, all we need is for the ancestors of Bushido to see much more flaw in their art as foreigners appear and beat them to a pulp." Eiji sighs and drifts into thought back to his life when he thought that he was a normal human and his old master that taught him the way of the sword, Bushido. He then shakes his head, returning to reality, "I believe that with the samurai, it would be best to try and get them on our side." Eiji tosses his katana into the air and dismisses it back to the wind from which it was created.
