Josline moved over to help Shade. "One more crack should shatter the crystal at the bottom. It won't destory the whole thing, but it should get Shira out unharmed." Josline said.

Shade nodded and aimed for the bottom of the crystal. "Vaati, either concentrate your magic on the bottom with us, or punch it as hard as you can in you current form." He said while he waited for Josline to get ready.

Josline started to build up the dark energy up in her arm as she aimed where she had sent the crack in the crystal.

Shade released his shadow energy on the crystal, making sure to aim directly for the crack. "Now!" He shouted.

Josline unleashed the shadow energy on the crack as it broke on he bottom and had Shira slip from the crystal as the dark energy rippled in the air. She bolted forward and caught Shira before she hit the ground. She fell backwards, looking at Shira, seeing the glow of the triforce inside of her.

Shira panted, a little relieved, but her heart was thumping so hard she thought it would explode out of her chest. "I'd like to say thank you, but I don't think it would be right."
Larken threw his head back and laughed. "Finally! I have you right where I want you, dearest sister. You could have given the Triforce to me earlier, and you wouldn't be in this mess."
"If I had done that," Shira shouted, "I'd be dead. Then again, you'll probably just kill me now in the process, right? You know where it is."

Kaze kicked Larken in the stomach. "Shut up. You're not getting anything but a paralyzed body if you keep talking." He threatened. as he pressed the tip of his sword up against Larken's forehead. "You know quite well that, if you move an inch or use any magic, you won't survive the fight afterwards." He added. Kaze didn't even bother to look back at Josline and the others. Larken needed to be watched.

Larken stood there calmly with the air of a man who knew he had already won. "It doesn't matter what you do. I altered my energy slightly to act as a magnet for the Triforce. However, the Triforce is stronger than Shira's body. She's dead where she stands."
A golden glow lit up on Shira's chest. She blinked in the sudden glare and pulled her shirt down slightly. There, etched over her heart, was a tattoo of the Triforce. The top one was glowing. "Kaze, I'm serious," she called. "Don't kill him. He isn't worth it." Besides, she thought, he might not be doing this of his free will. Her chest began to ache.

Kaze kept his eye on Larken. "How about this, then. I knock him out, and we can keep him tied up. I'm sure Dagnus wouldn't mind keeping him in their dungeon while we rescue my sister." He suggested. Larken looked like he wasn't going to do anything, but Kaze wasn't going to chance taking him with them to kill Jeract.

Larken didn't need to move to use his power if he could visualize the item moving. He focused on his sister, trying to see the Triforce embedded in her heart. Then he imagined it pulling itself from her body and coming to his hand. His magnetic power helped plenty.
The dull ache in Shira's chest suddenly rocketed to mind-numbing agony. Shira screamed and clawed at her chest. He's using his power! she thought in a panic. He's trying to force it from my body!

Kaze quickly glanced back at Shira, then growled at Larken. "Did I not just warn you..." His foot suddenly spun around and kicked Larken across the face. "... about using your powers?" With the fool laying on the ground, Kaze pressed his foot against his back. "One more stupid move, and I WILL snap your spinal cord!" He shouted. This idiot just didn't learn when to give up. But, with a broken spine, he wouldn't be able to do anything physical for the rest of his life.

"Don't..." Shira said weakly. "Knock... out..." The pain suddenly intensified, and she winced.
Larken rolled his eyes. This idiot obviously underestimated him, which was a mistake.

Kaze quickly pulled Larken to his feet. "You know... if your sister wasn't here to witness everything right now, I would have your head on a silver platter." He said just before he smashed Larken's face in with his fist, knocking him backwards into the wall, as well as knocking him out.
