Shira calmed herself. This was no time to be feeling sappy. She gathered her power into one, condensed ball, and let it all out quickly, in a controlled burst. The effort almost exhausted her. A minuscule crack appeared in the crystal. This was going to be a long night.

Arious was angry as he grabbed for the locket. "What use have you for her? Surely the woman cannot benefit you," His voice was cold as he gave the chain a tug. Dammit April... LIsten... where ever you are, Get OUT of HERE! If you are out of this dimension, then I cannot find you! Please! I don't want you hurt. And if you see your mother, do the same,.. and don't let Lisaya here for anything! Arious watched Jin with emerald green eyes. He would do as he asked, but Jin wouldn't be happy with the results.
Milliardo glared at April. "Oh? Were you worried about me? I know Mother always is.. but for you to come all the way out here to find me... How... sweet." he said sourly. However he wanished and appeared behind her. "Or... did you some for something more...?" He touched her hair moved down the small of her back.
Endymion dashed forward and jabbed at Darious with his sword. He moved with speed and precision. His blows were not of the strongest manner, but rather, moved toward vital area's on the shadow's body. Endymion quickly twisted back and jabbed at Darious again, aiming for the abdomen. "So.... tell me... What is this girl to you? She called out for you serveral times before I left her. Perhaps... a lover..?" He jested as he watched the shadow's sword movements.

Jin chuckled at Arious. "Did you not hear me? I said she is a threat. Now, bring her back, dead or alive." He said as he started toward the door, but suddenly stopped and turned back around. "Oh, and if you happen to bring her back alive, I would be most grateful. After all... I like to kill them myself." Jin stated before exiting the room, leaving Arious by his lonesome. "Soon, my mages will have the magic barrier up. Then, thanks to our dear friend Arious, no one, not even Elonacians or Hylians, will be able to use magic here. Well... at least no one I don't permit to use magic." He thought.

Through the faceted crystal, all around Shira was distorted. Nothing moved, and nothing could be heard, except the wind howling furiously outside. Any human company, even slime such as Larken or even Milliardo, would be welcome. She slumped into the pointy bottom of the crystal, and, worn out, she slept.
Larken appeared in Kazelina and Josline's room. "I need a little more information out of you two," he said calmly. "Where are the two men that you were with, and where are they headed?" He somehow needed to trap them all in Zaltuthe Ruins, where they would be easy to kill. His ears suddenly pricked as he heard shouting on the other side of the door. "What the...?" he muttered.

April suddenly laughed when she turned and grabbed Milliardo's hand and dipped him over her arm so they were face to face. "Oh Milly, you so silly. Of course I'm worried... about Tris. Now, tell me where she is, 'kay?" She smiled at him. Milliardo always got angry when she did this, she was the only girl he couldn't send shivers down her spine, or make her uncomfortable with his moves. His anger turned to hate towards her, still trying over and over again to find something that scared April, or at least tried to seduce her enough to kiss him and be turned down. Besides, she knew he had a thing for Alanna, she was the girl he truly loved. However, to piss him off, in the future she would make sure Alanna stayed with him... but enjoyed the company of other men. Oh what fun it was to see his face whenever Alanna ran off. She twirled Milliardo off, laughing at his anger and despair, her ears suddenly twitched at her fathers voice. Oh, well... I guess we're going to have to play hide and seek. However... I cannot leave until you leave this land before Endyimon finds you... I promised mom... and I can't have mom leave either, you know how stubborn she is. You did die once.
Josline listened as this Jin person asked Arious to go find April... dead or alive. Her heart raced hoping that Arious surely wouldn't go after his own daughter. She turned back to Kazelina, she wasn't sure to make out of this situation. They were about to be tortured, and now Arious was going off to drag his daughter here to be killed, or kill her himself. She blinked, spinning around as Larken asked where Kaze and Shade were going. "Why the hell would we tell you?"

Kazelina glared at Larken. "Do you seriously think I'd sell out my own brother?" She retorted. Apparently, this man was an imbecile. Did he really believe people would just give him what he wanted? "I'm not like you. I don't try to kill my family, JERK!" She shouted.
Jin looked over at the guard standing in front of the room with Larken and the two girls. "Ah, yes." He murmured to himself. He walked over to the room and entered. "Why, Kazelina, so nice of you to come back." He said with a grin. Kazelina simply gave him a death stare. Jin walked over to Larken. "You are the man whom brought these two girls, yes? For what purpose have you come?" He asked.
Shade nodded. "As far as I know." He murmured. He then motioned for Vaati to follow as he walked through the encampment. "However, Kaze has told me that these people saved his life when we were all first teleported here. Perhaps they will be willing to help him again." He added. Although the Targnites lived in an encampment, it was, by no means, small. At the very least, a mile in diameter, the Targnites lived quite comfortably. However, it was unknown as to how they came to adapt to the wasteland's unrelenting heat. And how they built an encampment that somehow lessened the magnitude of the heat was a complete mystery to all.

"I need more information from these two girls," Larken replied. "My sister stole something from an old acquaintance of my master. I want it back, and I'd prefer to tie up some loose ends while I'm doing it." He turned back to Kazelina. "Now, we can do this the easy way, or the hard way," he said in a menacing tone, pulling his sword out.
(Anyone wanna know what Shira's got? Hint: The old acquaintance is a staple of the Zelda series.)

Jin glanced over at Kazelina, then back at Larken. "The guard informed me of this fool. Unfortunately for him, the wind mage will kill Jeract." He thought. He then pulled Larken out of the room with him so that the girls could not listen in. "Don't even bother trying to disrupt the prophecy. People who try to change things such as that tend to... end up dead." He said with a serious look. "You were here earlier, yes? You're the one whose master seeks to ally with this kingdom?" Jin asked plainly. "Then consider this, Jeract would not honor any alliance unless he gets personal gain. And those two girls? He can find any girl on the street to satisfy those desires. I, however, would be willing to honor the alliance. But, in order for this to happen, you must let the wind mage kill the overlord." He explained. What Jin didn't tell Larken was that if he insisted on trying to stop Kaze, Jin wouldn't hesitate to 'make him disappear'. "And, as for your sister, why don't you just ask her where the item is? After all, I know very few that would actually trust someone with such information after knowing them for less than two days." He added before turning to walk back into the room. "Oh... and one more thing. The two girls in the room are now mine to torture. Understood?" Jin asked as he stared Larken dead in the eye.

Larken returned the stare. "I am not trying to disrupt any prophecy. I didn't even know there was one. My master is the one who seeks ally to the kingdom, but he only needs it to make my travels easier." He chuckled. "And do you really think the sister I've been trying to kill would tell me where she hid such an important item? You're more incompetent than I thought. I didn't think Shira would trust them with such information, I just thought they would see it." He glanced at the girls; particularly Josline. "Torture this one all you want," he said, gesturing to Kazelina. "The other one is mine. I brought them in, therefore I can decide what to do with them."

Jin threw Larken up against the wall and held his sword at the man's throat. "You don't make the decisions here, boy. I do. I don't care who you or your master are. You are on my territory, and I am not afraid to wage war against you." He stated maliciously as he pressed his blade against Larken's neck, leaving a thin line of blood. "I hope that's understood. Because if it's not... I'll kill you where you stand." A small glow was being emitted from Jin's sword. Anyone with the ability to think could tell that the energy flowing through that sword from Jin was incredibly powerful, and not something any sane person would dare mess with. Especially if that person was familiar Jin's strength and personality. Jin then threw Larken to the groud. "Take the girl. But consider this a warning. Next time, anything that enters this kingdom is mine." He said as he walked over to Kazelina.

Larken allowed himself a small smile. He knew that Jin was not an enemy to underestimate, but Jin was making a mistake by underestimating him. "Fine with me. I'm here to get back what's lost and erase the Hylians from history." He grabbed Josline by the arm, pulled her close to him, and used his magic mantle to reappear back at Zaltuthe Ruins. His sister was floating in the center of the crystal, arms folded in an X over her chest, like all the other maidens. She looked exhausted, but her stomach wound seemed to be gone. He frowned. Someone had helped her. "Din's Fire," he cursed quietly. "No matter. The dominoes are falling, and nothing can stop them."
(Larken isn't a stuck up jerk, he just thinks he's a big shot because his master is so powerful.)

Kazelina quickly sent a message to Kaze before Jin carried her away. "Kaze! Larken took Josline away! I don't know where he took her, but... I think he seems intent on getting rid of you." That was all she could send before Jin took her down to the torture room and grabbed the whip. She bit her lip when she saw this. "Stay strong... You can endure this sick freak's torture..." Kazelina thought to herself...
Kaze heard the message and cursed loudly. The Targnite leader gave him a quizzical look. "... I apologize, but I must go." Kaze muttered before turning to walk out. The leader seemed to have read Kaze's expression, because he stood up and agreed to help him with whatever task was at hand, as well as, storm Castle Telroth. Kaze humbly bowed before him. "Thank you." He mumbled.
The Targnite leader grinned a little. "Rise. We will save them." He said calmly. He then led him out of the tent. "You said a man named Larken was after you, yes? And that he was planning to ambush you in the Zaltuthe Ruins?"The man asked before receiving an affirming nod from Kae. "Then we'll give him just what he wants. Except, it's going to be a bit more than he bargained for." He added confidently.
(Never said he was. Jin just likes to run the show, and he's got enough power that no one would dare question him.)

"NO!" Josline shouted, but Kazelina already disappeared before her eyes. She quickly tossed something to the ground as a small ball of fluff scurried over to Kazelina and dived onto her ankle disappearing straight into her skin. She prayed the shadow imp would protect her skin enough against Jin for until Kaze got there. She sunk down to her knee's glancing up at the sleeping Shira. God, dammit... how was she got to get out of this one? Kaze thinks she and Kazelina are at the castle. He'll go storming there... and find Josline gone. She felt on the verge of tears, looking around wondering where they were. "So... what are you going to do with me now?" Jos asked angrily towards Larken.

"Hmm... what would the best way to torture a fine young woman be?" Larken said, smiling evilly. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Shira stir. "Ah, the sleeping Heroine of Time awakens."
Shira cracked an eye open. What was she doing, floating like this? She looked around and saw Larken, with Josline, and she started. "Josline!" she shouted. "Are you okay?" She banged on the crystal.
(That remark by Larken is a bad joke... remember in OoT how Link sleeps for 7 years?)

(I'll repeat what I said before. No rape. Just want that to be clear.)
The Targnite leader led Kaze to a stable of, what look like, deformed ostridges. "Klups. We use these to get around the wasteland." He stated as he mounted one. "Get on. You go pick of your shadow friend, and I'll get a rally together. Then we'll head out for the Ruins." The man said before racing off to get some men together.
Kaze nodded and mounted one of the klups before he rushed off to find Shade. "Hey! Change of plans! We're going to Zaltuthe Ruins first and- Vaati... We'll speak later. Just get on so we can get moving." He said. Once Vaati was on, Shade sank into Kaze's shadow and followed them as they went back and found the leader again.
(Psssst. Hey. Josline. Shadow magic might be void in the castle and forest, but the wasteland has no such barrier.)
