Unfortunately, I'm finding it more and more difficult to keep up. =( I have so much work from college to do-- I'm pretty much working non-stop and my one free hour at the end of the night right before my bed time (I have to get up at 5:30 every morning) I have to spend it making art for the event. (I usually get started on art an hour before the deadline, which sucks, but I try to get my school work finished first and that doesn't always happen. Sometimes I've had to put things off to finish them in the morning to be able to do the event)

Now, in some cases, this has actually been a very good thing. I have mentioned before that since the event last year I have drawn something every day. I feel the need to keep that record up, and there has been a few times that the only reason I remembered to draw anything was because I remembered the event deadline. So I was very grateful for the event!

Other times, however, it would be so much easier for me to draw one of my usual figures, not having to worry about a theme or art request. And I worry that if I spend too much time on art for the event (which hasn't happened that much so far, obviously. sweatdrop ) then I'll be hurting my college work.

The reason I got more frustrated about it last night was because I had planned to get something finished that night for school, but my failed drawing time screwed up that plan. That was my fault. >_< Don't worry, what I was working on isn't due immediately; I still have time.

I really don't want to quit! The event means a lot to me, so you can be assured that I won't give up until I feel it is absolutely necessary. And even if I do, I would still participate for fun when I could.

As a side note, guess what I'm studying in college: Art! I have to draw an entire room in perspective this weekend. Ugh. x_x

Well, we did start with fewer this year. Still, I want to see us get to the end!
