Zelda held onto his hand tightly, managing a small smile, then relaxed at his suggestion. It was definitely possible, much better than practically pulling her off.
"That's a good idea. Midna, Midna!" Mona called. "We need you, where are you?"

Duo tensed up. "Leave?" He whispered. Suddenly, he had a pain in his chest... as if something were stabbing him. He cursed. There was no heart there... Well.. in any case, there better not be. He became one with the shadow... gave up his human emotions... Ripped his heart out with his own hand. Surely that would stop the weakness of falling in love? He got up. "You forget, that you are hurt. My healing is not the greatest. Please... rest a few days. then we shall talk. But for now you are in no condition to go anywhere!" He calmed himself. There was no reason to get angry.

Sunoka shook her head. "I can't stay... I have to leave with the others. I can walk, I'll be alright." She turned and walked toward the door. "I'm sorry, Duo." She sighed and lowered her head. Why did it sound like that was farewell? She would see him again, for sure! But the girl did feel a little sad. Duo had shown her kindness, even if he didn't undertsnd why, himself. She wanted to stay near him, but she couldn't. "Can't?... No... I don't want to... I crave adventure, not to be kept in a room all day, waiting for a wound to heal." Sunoka shighed again and opened the door.

Duo slenched his teeth. He was not just about to let this girl walk out on him. He Put a hand on her shoulder and firmly steered her back inside the room. "I don't think you understand... I did not bring you here because I was bored Sunoka. You are my prisoner." The door closed and latched shut as multiple locks clicked. He shook his head. "Listen. I want you to trust me... alright? I want you to like me... possibly be friends... I want you to know I will never hurt you..." He paused. Where was this stuff coming from? Surely not his brai... He was getting too attached to this girl. It would ome back to haunt him in the future.

Mina emerged from the shadows. "What is it? You need my help again?" She muttered? First they drag her here... She almost gets killed in a fight, and now they are asking for more. So this is what friends were like... SHe shook her head...

Sunoka turned her head toward Duo and growled lightly. She knocked his hand off her shoulder and backed up. "Duo, I will not stay here twenty-four, seven." She stood firm as she readied herself. If she had to fight to get out of the room, she would. "I do trust you, but how would you feel if you were thrown into a cage and told to stay there forever?" The girl felt like she was in a cage. She liked Duo, but a cage just wasn't her style.

Duo punched the stone wall to keep himself from hurting the girl. But a thought had occured to him. Why was he keeping her there? It wasn't like... He was ordered to kidnap the girl... He just wanted to... What was compelling him to force her to stay? Surely... he wasn't attached to the girl? "I can't just let you go though... Please stay... Just.. oe more day. I am serious. You are still in no condition to go anywhere. I am concerned about your health!" He paced the floor then stopped in front of her. "Stay... and I shall release you tomorrow to your friends. Deal?" He wanted to look into her eyes but it wasn't possible.

Michael walked up next to the group, then still a bit haunted, but his medical programming forced him to communicate and be aware.
"She needs extreme medical care. Shall I suggest nano-mites to repair the damage and force out any infection or pieces within her?"
He had remembered the mites now when someone was truly in need, but before he was also in utter shock and so didn't think to repair the scar over his eye.

"N-n-nano mites? What are they?" Zelda asked. Whatever they were they sounded foreign.
"Cut the attitude, Zelda needs help." Mona glared at her, then her tone softened. "We need you to teleport the chandelier, and the chandelier only, to somewhere else, to save her. Can you do that, please?"

Ganondorf heard the squabble between Duo and Sunoka unfold from the other room as a few Gerudo women tended to his injuries. "How interesting. A hostage held behind my back? And the captor is being kind? Very interesting indeed." He said to himself. Let's mix things up.
"Duo? Duo!" He bellowed.

Sunoka turned away and sighed. "... I've already been away from my friends, too long... I don't want to spend another day here!" Then, a thought occured to her. "Duo... why don't you come with us? You will be close to me and protect me, and I won't have to stay in a room all the time." If he didn't accept the offer, she would have no choice. He would either move, or the only way to get out was to go through him.

"Nano-sized machines designed for doing things below a microscopic scale that could repair, destroy, or control. So far, they are the closest thing to a sped-up, natural healing. They do not hurt, and they'll look like a small dot, all of them, as I place them within where they will root out infection, pieces of rock, dirt, and other things that should not be in there. They also repair the damage so fast you can see it."
He pointed to his shoulder that was now visibly closing, almost finished. He hoped he had dumbed down his explanation enough for them to understand.

Link just watched Michael with a slightly confused expression. "I'm not quite sure what that means, but I pretty sure we don't have those. We have magic and red potions." He looked up at Midna. "What has gotten into you? You're acting strange..." He shook his head. "Never mind that." He put a hand on Zelda's forehead to check her temperature, which was fine.

Sarri was getting worn out. Dodging the energy bolts coming out of the ground was difficult enough, but she felt the guardian's urge to help Dark Link.

You're not in the shape to be doing ANYTHING Sarri! She scolded herself. But I wanna help!

Struggling with her inner self, she limped to the back corner and pressed herself against the wall. I'll stay out of it just this once. Never again will I back away from one of my... friends in danger, even if I myself am injured...

Dark jumped and rolled around most of the bolts of energy, but as soon as he came out of his 2nd roll he got nailed in the chest with one. It sent him flying into the wall. Which he slowly recovered from the hit. "Gosh, I'm not use to that kind of dark energy." He said as he stumbled forward. Dark realized that he energy he absorbed from earlier was running out, Now Dark needed a new way to fight. He dropped his sword and shield and charged Tenebre unarmed.

Mordecai stalked through the streets of castle town, his halberd resting easily on his shoulder. His grip on the weapon tightened considerably as he came in sight of Hyrule castle. He growled under his breath, cursing his luck. "If only I could get into that place. Chaos would reign supreme!" He said, slightly louder than originally planned. A nearby villager started to scream, but was cut short as Mordecai's hand found a tight grip on his throat. He lifted the puny villager high into the air, his eyes glowing through his helmet, penetrating the man's blank stare. "You heard nothing, weakling." He commanded, not thinking to look around for guards.

Sarri bit her lip, trying desperately to think of something. She didn't want to abandon Dark, but she wasn't doing anything. She prayed to the Goddesses that he wouldn't angry with her if she left the room to try to find Sunoka. The girl was the reason she was there in the first place. Besides, the most she could do was to get hurt more. And Dark would not be very happy to find he had lost her to Tenebre's ranged attacks.

Sarrianna got to her feet and slid across the wall until she reach the door. She caught Dark's eye and blinked hoping her expression could explain for her, her sad eyes and determined mouth. She nodded and saluted like a soldier, bidding him good luck without any words at all, and slipped out the door.

She raced down the hallways, skidding around corners and glancing everywhere, ignoring the random creatures in some places and warning them off with a glare so furious they backed off. She sprinted around another corner to check a room for Sunoka.

And ran smack dab into Ganondorf himself and a few Gerudo women.

Eyes wide, Sarri skittered back a few steps, falling backwards onto her rear right outside the door. I should have paid more caution to my search. Crap. Crap. Crap. She felt the blood that was now slowly seeping from her wounds on her neck and upper chest coat her tunic with even more of the sticky substance. She stared at him in silent terror and surprise.
