Brightspirit and Riverfang
[Riverfangs ears flicked in annoyance. Some cats still aren't comfortable around us, he thought sadly]
[Brightspirit nuzzled him, as if reading his thoughts]
"Where's Silverstar? Aren't I supposed to leave today?"
[Riverfang frowned. He didn't need to be reminded of that]
((Leo, when are the cats going on the journey??))

___________________________________________ ((Yeah, we're s'posed to start today. But I'm waiting for Timber to log on, since I'm kinda sorta unsure about what we're going to do.))
[Silverstar gazed around the camp, looking for the cats she had chosen to go on the trip, and making sure they were all well. She spotted Brightspirit and Riverfang. She quickly padded over.]
"Brightspirit, we will be leaving sunhigh today. We must get the necessary herbs, so will you please go ask Starpelt to get the traveling herbs ready?"
[Silverstar didn't need an answer. She nodded in farewell, then padded over to Icestorm, who had just watched Lusterkit scamper into the nursery.]
"Icestorm, we leave sunhigh today. Starpelt will be getting travelling herbs ready, so make sure you eat them. Thank you."
[Silverstar looked around once more, trying to remember who she had chosen. She padded over to Thunderpaw and Hawkpaw. Her eyes narrowed with worry at Hawkpaw's legs and Thunderpaw's shoulder gash.]
"We are leaving at sunhigh to day for the cure to the Madness. Are you sure you two still want to go? You have both been injured pretty badly. . . " _________________________________________

((Guys, I'm RPing as Timber's charas while she's gone, so we're going to start the journey.))
[I leapt to my feet eagerly, my blue eyes shining with excitement. We were leaving today! I glanced at my wound, wishing to have gotten it looked at. Oh well, we're leaving now, and I don't have time anymore. I stepped forward, testing my leg. It seemed fine, though it looked red and swollen. I looked up at Silverstar.]
"Yes Silverstar, we're ready," I mewed confidently. I wasn't going to let a hurt shoulder get in my way of this journey!
[I padded forward eagely and sat beside Brightspirit as the other cats gathered around, bidding farewell and eating their travelling herbs. Travelling herbs! I have to eat some! I dashed into the medicine cat's den and grabbed a bundle of herbs for myself and Hawkpaw. I dropped the bundle at his paws and quickly ate mine, the bitter taste making it hard to swallow.]

Brightspirit and Riverfang
[Brightspirit nodded and walked towards Starpelt's den]
"Hello Starpelt. Are all the travelling herbs ready?"
[She bent her head and picked up her own package, her face screwed up at the bitter taste. She nodded farwell to Starpelt, and padded out to stand beside her mate]
"Riverfang, I think we're leaving now" she meowed, a bit of sadness colouring her mew.
[She could see the pain on his face, and she nuzzled him]
"I'll miss you"
[Riverfang's eyes were pierced through with sadness]
"I'll miss you too. Stay safe. Don't get hurt. Please Brightspirit, come back to me, alive"
[Brightspirit smiled]
"You know how I am. Can't go anywhere without getting myself in trouble. But..maybe I'll stay safe, just this time, just for you"
[Riverfang tried to laugh, but it got stuck in his throat]
"Just stay alive"
[He licked her ears, and pressed his muzzle agaisnt her neck]
[Brightspirit looked down at him, then slowly turned and walked away, heading towards the group of cats that were making this journey with her. No promises, Riverfang. No promises]

 H a w k p a w“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________[Hawkpaw felt his spiky pelt bristle with excitement. He watched Thunderpaw test her shoulder and thought that he should do the same with his legs. He shifted his weight from one side to the other, jumped and tried to crouch. Sure, the pain was still there, but it was rather dull and almost unnoticable. With a smile, he tore the cobwebs off of his legs. His smile turned into a grin as he saw that his wounds were dry and healing perfectly. At that moment, Thunderpaw dropped some traveling herbs at his feet. He sat down and began to chew the bitter-tasting herbs, knowing that they would keep him from feeling hunger pangs.
Once he finished, Hawkpaw looked at the cats that would travel with him with a mixture of pain and pride. There were no guarantees that any of them would come back from this journey alive, yet a strong sense of purpose flared within the young tom. Perhaps StarClan would accept him now, even if he were the kit of an unworthy rogue.
A sudden thought struck him like a bolt of lightning. Hawkpaw rose to his paws, his wounds barely a bother anymore, and despirately looked around the camp for Moonkit. He couldn't bare leave her without a formal farewell. After all, this might be the last time he'd see her at all. His tail and ears drooped at the mere thought.]
((StarClan, Brightspirit and Riverfang make such a nice couple. crying ))

[Silverstar nodded approvingly, encouraging the apprentices. She watched Hawkpaw dash off with a chuckle. Young cats and their constant energy! she thought with a purr. She turned and gathered the travelling cats around her, waiting for the rest to finish their preperations. She suddenly remembered something.
She dashed over to Firestorm and Icestorm.]
"Firestorm! I'd like you and Riverfang to please help Cindermoon out. Since it's her first few days as deputy, please help her out as much as you can. Make sure to let Riverfang know as well. Good luck!"
[Silverstar dipped her head hurriedly and then retreated to the entrance of the camp, impatient to get to Twin Rocks, not wanting to be late.]_________________________________________

He ears pricked, swiveling one last time to try to find Moonkit, but he heard nothing. It felt like a cold stone sat in his belly. What if he never saw Moonkit again?
Hawkpaw shook his head and ran over to Thunderpaw. His tail swishing back and forth in anticipation and eyes glimmering, he smile.]
“Ready to go, Thunderpaw?”

 Icestorm turned to her leader. "ah.. of course." she said as she dipped her head in respect. She then padded over to Firestorm and Silverclaw.

 "yes silverstar." Firestorm said as he dipped his head in respect. he licked Icestorms ears. "you be careful. come back to me in one peace." he said. Silverclaw with her firy spirit said the same to Icestorm. Firestorm then looked around, finding Riverfang he approached him. The cat was new and unknown to him. he didnt like that and didnt trust this cat. his muscles rippled as he moved forward. "Yo. Riverfang right?" he said to the cat.

[I blinked warmly at Hawkpaw.]"Ready when you are!" I said excitedly.
[The bitter taste of herbs was still in my mouth, but I tried to ignore it. Sheesh, I hate the way these taste, I thought inwardly. Oh well. As long as they make me stronger!

___________________________________________ ((Yeah, she is coming. If she wants to, that is. And lulz, we need an experiment cat for the Madness cure.))
[Silverstar shook her paws and then flicked her tail to gather her warriors. She leapt atop the Fernhill in one last farewell. She didn't have to call the Clan together, most were already out to say good-bye.]
"Cats of StormClan, you all know how dangerous this mission is. But we will bring back the cure! We will cure this Madness! Unfortunately, some of us may not come back." Silverstar bowed her head briefly. "But we will survive. These lions cannot take on all four Clan patrols, and may StarClan light our paths. All the while we are gone, Cindermoon, Firestorm, and Riverfang will be in charge."
[Silverstar leapt down and gathered her warriors together. As the plunged through the tunnel, all the cats of the Clan chorused, "May StarClan light your path!"]

[Brightspirit cast one last look at her mate, then bounded off behind Silverstar, praying for Starclan to protect them all]
[Riverfang watched as Brightspirit ran out of the camp. He missed her already. He waited until he couldn't see her anymore, then turned to Firestorm warily. He could tell the tom didn't trust him fully. Well you know what, bub? It's just gonna be me, you, and Cindermoon looking after this Clan for a while, so you're gonna have to get over that mistrust you have for me, he thought as he looked Firestorm over. He flicked his tail]
"Yeah?"

Firestorm's eyes narrowed for a moment. he blinked and sighed silently. "Silverstar told me to tell you that you, and me will have to help Cindermoon the best we can in taking care of the camp." he twitched his tail unconsciously. "you alright with that?" he told the cat.
