[Leopardstorm felt the rapid pulse of Fathom's tongue over her pelt, and returned the gesture, her tail flicking contentedly. Silverpelt blazed above, as if approving the pair. This is how it should be. StarClan only knows when the Slayers will come... But nothing can ruin this moment now. she thought, purring as her tongue rasped over Fathom's pelt, shining as though before.] ________________________________________

(I don't really care. Sorry I thought he had been apprenticed already.... My bad)
[Richkit padded around the camp. He couldn't wait to be a warrior. He would be the very best warrior ever and then his mother would feel bad for leave him and his sister to go on the journey for the remedy. Richkit had a sour face as he padded back and forth.]

[Richkit heard Silverkit and felt his sour mood lighten. He like his sisters a lot.]
"I'm so happy! Now we can play and practice battle moves! You want to play a game?"
[Richkit said bouncing up and down as well. Silverkit's excitment was contagious.]

[Watercloud woke up and blinked rapidly.
It was already past sunhigh but that didn't matter.
He was a warrior now!
And plus he'd sat his warrior vigil last night so he took this as an excuse for his late awakening.
Padding around camp, he felt a strange serene calmness.
Enjoying the warmth he noticed his former mentor padding around camp looking like a lost kit.
Blinking at her and the way the light high lighted her dark pelt form behind a strange thumping began in his heart.]
Huh? I don't.. She was mentor! I can't.. But i'm a warrior right? Oh Starclan what's the matter with me! he screamed inside himself.
[Shuffling just as lost-looking as Lavenderrrain he bounded out of camp, not daring look at her as he pasted.]
[Lavenderrain felt a 'whoosh' as Watercloud ran out of camp.
She smiled gently to herself.]
Must be excited, it's his first day out as a warrior. she thought almost laughing despite her melancholy mood.
[Things had been tense with her and her kits lately.
She realized Richkit looked at her differently and acted weird around her.
This had absolutely broke her heart and she felt that it would never heal again.
Bowing her head and looking at nothing, she finally realized what could be worse than her mate dying.]
Having your kits reject you.. she thought looking down.
[Refocusing her eyes, she realized she was looking at her left front paw.
It would never feel again, and she'd lost the ability of retracting and unsheathing her claws.
Looking down at it uselessly, she spat at the ground.]
I sacrficed this paw for my love.. for my clan.. and especially for my kits... but it was all to no avail. she thought sullenly.
(( Lavenderrain needs some cheering up.. Anyone? D:
And Watercloud seems to be all lovey-dovey for her now!
Oh, this chapter's gonna be fun.
Btw, exam are on Manday and Tuesday for me, so I prolly can't be on too much.
After that, summer break! Woot! > w< ))

[Purekit opened her eyes. She had fallen asleep in her mother's nest in the nursery. She stood, stretching, unsheathing her claws as she enjoyed the burning sensation in her muscles.
She bounced out of the nursery happily, looking around for her family. She saw her mother's silky pelt ahead of her and she bolted, tackling her mother in her familiar way of greeting others.]
"Mommy!" she exclaimed excitedly. "Good morning Mommy! Did you have nice dreams? I did. I dreamed that you took me to a field, and in that field was a tree with weird stuff hanging off the branches. I asked you what it was and you said they were called "oranges", and I tried one and it was really tasty."
[Pausing, Purekit's eyes slowly trailed to the ground as her mind slowly tried to work things out.]
Finally she asked, bewildered, "What's an orange?"

 [Fathom narrowed his eyes contentedly, but as he looked up at the sky, he realized they had to be heading home. He sighed, not wanting to move, but turned and whispered in Leopardstorm's ear.]
"We have to head home," he murmured, "our clanmates will be worried."
[He nodded to her, standing, and they strode back to camp together, tails twined.]
(( Sorry for controlling her Leo, but we need ta do a timeskip to the next day, where everyone is at right now. D: ))

[Fathom opened his eyes, stretching. He shook his pelt and padded out of his den. He headed straight for Nightpaw, an apologetic look on his face.]
"Are you ready for more training, Nightpaw?" he asked her. "Sorry about yesterday. I had some...business to take care of."
[A bashful look came over him, but he shook it off, blinking at his apprentice warmly.]

[Lavenderrain purred affectionately.
It was amazing what a presence Purekit had.
Curling around Purekit to groom her while she was telling one of her outrageous stories, she stopped.
Pondering the idea of 'oranges', Lavenderrain turned her eyes on Purekit.]
"Purekit, where do you come up with these things? I honestly don't know who you get it from.. Besides, I don't know much other than Nightclan's walls. And the way to the special Star Slayers herbs.." she mewed trailing off into the previous mood she was in before.
[Resting her muzzle on Purekit's ever growing head she murmured into the kit's soft fur..]
"Is Richkit mad at me?" she mewed without opening her eyes.

A few yards away from camp, Nekomata finally found an apple tree. 'Ā mite, ringo!' she thought, her twin tails practically wagging from side to side in excitement. She ran up the tree and used it as leverage to jump, then twisted and slashed at the stem of one of the apples, causing it to fall to the ground. She landed and happily dug into her meal, not noticing the NightClan camp a few yards away.

Now's my chance!
[He thought as he dashed over to his leader.]
"Fathom! I was wondering if...uh...I was wondering if it'll be too late to assign a mentor to me? I'm as big as most of the warriors now, but I had to teach myself most of the fighting and hunting skills...but I'm quite good at them!"
[Eaglepaw finished his long speech with a hopeful look into Fathom's red eyes, hoping that he would say yes and assign him a mentor.]
Then maybe I'll be a warrior in no time at all!
[He thought with a glimmer of hope in his eyes.]

[Solokit yawned widely as she padded out of the nursery. Her khaki
eyes looked up at the bright sky and it made her smile. It seemed it
was going to be a good day. She noticed her denmates, Richkit and
Silverkit and padded over to them, looking for some fun or excite-
ment.] "Hiya guys!" [she smiled, her tail high and flicking slightly.]

[Hauntedheart padded out of her den and over to Fathom. She hesitated as she spotted him close to Leopardstorm but shook her head and went over to him. The medicine cat dipped her head with respect before mewing,] "Fathom, I need to speak with you in private, it's about Honykit." [The smokey gray she-cat flicked her tail and glanced at the nursery. Sure Honeykit was annoying and Huantedheart wasn't sure how much she wnated an apprentice but when she had visited Foxclaw's grave last time, she had found some honey resting on the mound. She may not trust StarClan's judgment like she used to, but she trusted her mate. So, if Foxclaw thought Honeykit was the right cat to be her apprentice, then Honeykit would become her apprentice.]

Nekomata heard voices as she finished her apple and turned her head to look over at the camp a few yards with curiosity, although she didn't move from where she was laying. Her eyes, one yellow, one green, examined the cats over there with great interest.

((Grr-arr, I couldn't find Honeykit's posting style... D: I'm RP'ing Honeykit for rain... So yush. ^^))
[Honeykit padded into camp, his ears flicking worriedly. Had they worried about me too much? he thought despairingly. Clenched in his teeth were many rose petals migled with marigold buds, all petals. Honeykit slipped along the walls of the camp, inhaling the scents of the flowers in his jaws. He slipped unnoticed into the nursery, where his sleeping mother, Starkcloud, lay. He dug around in his nest, slipping the petals in now and then until he had all his flowers twined in his nest.
He sat in his nest contentedly, inhaling the sweet scents of roses and marigolds. He eventually wanted to go out into the camp, so he padded outside where a blast of chill air hit him in the face. He shook his head, startled. He glanced around the clearing, then a purr escaped his throat as he saw Hauntedheart speaking with Fathom. Maybe I can finally be her apprentice! he though joyfully.]
((Nyeh, the cold air just means a rainstorm is coming. The Clans need it, there hasn't been rain in awhile. ^^))
