Eva held him close as he apologized. "It's alright... you were just playing around." Eva murmured. She felt his energy warm her up, feeling her hair and black robe dry easily. "But what about you?" She asked, looking at him.

"Navi, are you alright?" Link asked. Since Navi was in his hat, all he could was speak into the air and sound like he was talking to himself.

Tenser just shrugged and grinned.
"I'm ok for now, don't worry. I'll dry myself off later."
It was right after he said that he sneezed. Several times.
(Oh the irony!!...sorry, couldn't help but say that...)

Eva raised an eyebrow. "Now look what's happened, you got yourself a cold!" she said sternly and laid him down. "Just rest alright?" She said, checking his head, feeling a small fever burn against her fingers and sighed.

Tenser sneezed again, then started coughing. But like many guys he tried to get up, so he could look tough.
"I'm fine, serious-a-a-a-CHOO!- ly I'm fine. Don't w-a-a-a-CHOO-orry."
He shook his head, now looking for something to wipe his nose with.

"No... lay down!" Eva said forcing him back to the ground. She summoned a clothe and washed it off, after reigning it out she placed the damp cloth on his head to cool off his fever. She moved and placed his head on her lap so he had a place to rest. "Stay laying down or I'll pin you here..." She said, looking down at him.

Navi didn't respond. Maybe I should tell him... She sighed, why wouldn't she?... He was the Hero of Time... She flew out of his hat once more and bounced lightly in front of his face. "I felt some strange power... it was more toward the desert. Link... It was pure evil... when I tried to find you, it made me sick.. I could barely fly let alone be near it. I think it may be Ganondorf... It was a lot stronger than the first time we met him... I am just worried.. for everyone..." It was the truth. She usually told him only the facts.. but she felt like a small weight was lifted off her shoulders.

Tenser layed back as he was told, trying not to show too much weakness. He closed his eyes and tried to get comfortable, which was much easier thanks to having his head on Eva's lap. Slowly he fell asleep, deep in his subconcious, where he was at the mercy of his memories.
Tenser...I'm so happy for you...
The voice was like a trigger in his head, memories starting to intrude, though things were different. He saw Eva in place of...and he enjoying the exact same memories but with Eva instead, all happy and joyful, even in the darkest times, until...
Tenser was badly injured after part of the cliff collapsed, though thankfully they landed on a second flat area that seemed to hold him. He tried to move and get up, but his arm and legs were bleeding and possibly broken. Mere centimetres away, in place of...was Eva, the part she was on closer to the edge and starting to break off.
Tenser started to toss a bit.
Tenser tried to get her to wake up and get moving, but she was also hurt. He tried to get to her, but his feet were trapped under a few rocks. Eva tried to move closer to his outstretched hand, so he could pull her onto his part.
Tenser was mumbling in his sleep, still turning.
Eva's hand was about to be in his. The rock was almost broken through, but Tenser felt a swell of victory as Eva's fingers touched his, but suddenly the rock gave way, their hands so close now pulled apart as Eva began falling down towards the ground far below, made even worse as she lost her grip on the rock and was free-falling, just like....
Tenser bolted up, shaking and screaming out Eva's name.
(I figured we went on long enough without knowing why Tenser wanted to remain so faithful and what happened to some of his group. I thought this would be a tragic way.)

Eva had collapsed over, the day had turned to dark, but Eva hadn't transformed, She had made it so Tenser had been resting on her arm. She didn't wake when he woke up shouting her name. Her ears twitched but she continued to sleep. Her body was quivering even though she was sleeping peacefully.

"But Ganondorf isn't in the desert. That means someone else is... Twinrova!" Link stopped. If Phantom was back, and stronger than ever, then maybe Twinrova was back too.

Tenser quickly looked around. He saw Eva and relaxed instantly. He touched her cheek gently before moving and splashing a bit of water in his face so he could forget the nightmare, then went back to where he was sleeping, and moved Eva so she rested against him, an arm around her hips as he tried to doze off, grateful for having her so close and so accepting of him.

Zelda slapped herself in the forehead. "Damn it..." Now that she was actually on a mission and not captured, she just said what she felt. She didn't care what anyone thought. "Wouldn't that just be fabulous, Link?" she asked sarcastically.

Link sighed, then perked up. "Hey, we're here... when did we get here?" He glanced around, noting that they were in Castle Town. He didn't remember walking back... he must not have been paying attention.

Zelda shrugged. "I don't know either. Weird." She started walking faster, then stopped. "Going to the castle, or somewhere else?" she asked. "Kinda wasn't paying attention if you discussed it..."
