She slowly allows herself to relax against him, eventually falling into a half sleep state, purring quietly, listening to the others play and laugh, Hopian teasing his daughter and she calling out to her mom. But she doesn't open her eyes, not yet. There is still a bit of confusion and a small touch of concern that things are not what they seem. It is easier to accept it all when she closes them and simply lets things be.

Eventually she does indeed fall asleep, awakening only when the others are ready to return. Laughing she tries to use Kero's technique of rolling in a towel to dry off, but gets completely tangled. She manages to find a small peephole and growls at the laughing lions. "A little help would be appreciated ye know."

*Smiling, Kero unrolls her, then leads them all home, where he pipes Salunia and the others to sleep, then comes and flops next to Ai*

Smiling shyly, she goes and fetches his brush then begins to work the tangles out of his fur, carefully edging ever lower. She works in silence her paw shaking slightly but she doesn't pull away. Finally she reaches an area she usually avoids.

She sits there, shaking, staring at him, Suddenly she collapses on the bed crying. "Help me.... please..." she begs in a quavering whisper.

She nuzzles him back. "I... I don't know... but when you just lie there... I... I don't know what to do...." shes whispers hanging her head and blushing beet red.

"Smart response, brat. Iffin ye touch her, I'd have to kill ye." comes a cold voice from the window.
Ai gives a muffled squeal and disappears.
Bez slips in and sighs. "Oh... don't get yer hackles up... I'm not going to eat ye, but I do wonder what in the hell is going on." He pads his way over to Kero and gives him a hard sad look. "I've never seen Ai like that before... ever... it doesn't seem right... something is wrong... can't ye sense it?" The great panther sits down and shakes his head. "And I don't know what to do about it."
