With no Fire or Void slots remaining, there was nothing left but to return the scroll to her pouch and build up some bravado while she prepared to charge (very much against her better judgment). 18 - Kitsuki Masuyo, 8 damage (Nicked +3), 30' away
15 - Kaiu Kagae, Disarmed, Full Attack Stance, 16 damage (Hurt, +10), TN+6, 10' away
7 - Matsusuke, 24 damage, Attack Stance, Nicked (-0), Earth Fist
0 - Osano-Wo, Chargin' his lazer
X - Bayushi Kojiro, 29 Damage (Out, --), Suffocating (Rounds until Death: 16)
Masuyo spends the last of her fiery mojo on one last aggressive magical assault, though raw destructive power was not one of Masuyo's strong suits. Like before, the spell would fizzle to no effect.
Kagae, however, tried a different tact. Rushing Matsusuke, he would instead land a blow on the injured but stabilized young man over the Lost's shoulder. There would be a bit of spasming in response to the blow, and some of the bandages would redden.
Matsusuke would turn, gazing at Kagae through his empty helmet for a moment, before kicking through the wall with a grunt. Wood would splinter outwards from the mighty blow, and he would simply force his way through the weakened area effortlessly.
"Tend to your Scorpion friend. He did not have the choice to let himself be obliterated. I left you two alive so you can tend to his wounds and get off this mountain."
He would pause.
"The Shugenja cannot touch me with her spells, and the Bushi is too injured to pose a threat to me. If you follow me, all that awaits you is the remainder of my men, their arrows, and deaths that are far from glorious."
He would then move to leave. Matsusuke has much higher water than either of you, so he will eventually outpace you if you don't do anything to stop him or slow him down here and now. EDIT: He's not "running" though, so keeping pace with him isn't a problem, it's doing so while trying to hit him in combat. Athletics rolls vs TN 5 will let you keep up with him.

With that, carrying the bodies of two cultists, Matsusuke would make his way through the city towards the eastern gate.

The stunned and suffocating samurai would try to let out a few gasping wheezes and perhaps say something....but who knows what actually managed to escape his lips in his battered situation. If only he could have rested after taking watch last night/ this morning.

She had every intention of charging him. They had to stop him no matter the cost... right? Even if there was nothing they could do. Yet even as she got her feet moving she noticed movement out of the corner of her eye... the Scorpion. He was still alive? If it was possible for her heart to sink any more, it sure as hell tried. After nearly tearing herself in two, she found her feet ultimately moving towards the fallen jerkface. Literally thousands of lives at stake and she still couldn't stop herself from saving the ones in front of her. Oh, it was easy enough to justify... she couldn't stop the godling no matter how hard she tried; if he was able to outpace a Fortune he deserved the victory anyway; it wasn't her place to determine who died (though it was apparently entirely her place to determine who lived) no matter their great efforts to the contrary... but in the end they were all just excuses to something otherwise all-around hopeless. There was, quite simply, no decision she wouldn't come to regret.
There was no time for a thorough examination. She was just gonna have to eyeball it and stab him with the healing shiv perform the best resuscitation she knew.

Conciousness came back to Kojiro. It felt like he'd been kicked by Osanwarhorse and then kicked again by a mule. Something told him that things *might* get even worse though.
"Whu...wha?" Kojiro managed to utter after taking in deep breathes of air.
The bushi would grunt as he tried to move his extremities. The smallest twitch seemed to cause intense pain as memory flooded back to him. "Ah." He fixed the nearest samurai with a hopeful expression on his face, but the look the Kitsuki gave him seemed like it would kill him. The Scorpion decided not to struggle anymore and just collapsed back down to the ground.
"We need to let the magistrates know.....about here. We need to leave."

Masuyo looked at him sorrowfully and nodded. This was all just too much for her. Perhaps it was time to go after all. She turned away and gathered her things without a word.

Kojiro tried to get up again, but all of his limbs felt like they were on fire and he let out a cry of pain. "Arragh!" The Scorpion then collapsed back down. "Kitsuki-san....if you are inclined....could you please lend your aid again?

Rummaging through her supplies, she brought forth a stock of white willow bark (though for 9 wounds it was entirely possible there was some opiate residue in there... >_>) and handed it to the whiny, though admittedly eloquent bushi. "Here. Chew on this. It'll dull the pain and get you back on your feet. We don't have time... to..."
...and just like that the Crab was gone. At this point she could really only throw her hands up in defeat. If he wanted to go off on his own, so be it. Maybe Osano-Wo would be as discriminant as their enemy. Either way she suspected they were likely to never see him again, same as the other two.

Kojiro would carefully cut a portion of cleanish fabric off of the tent that was used to shroud Asako-sama's body. He would then wrap it carefully around Shisui's head (Removing it with his katana if need be). " Atleast we can make sure that Asako-sama does not rise again and some portion of him is returned to his family."
With that, Kojiro would start heading out of the village. "I wonder how far we'll be allowed to get before nightfall."
