zion shrugged and relaxed releacing his pent up power. He was almost disapointed. A fight would have been interesting. But this way at least there was no danger to himself. Whih was of course paramount. "I was simply taking precautions. I've seen fights break out from smaller arguments. I have no desire to be caught in a fight without my defences up. But I am glad that you have settled your argument." The argument had been moderatly interesting but he disagreed with them both. The purpose in life was to belong and to be something. Power could grant this but power for powers sake was pointless. He kept silent though. His wings began shrinking and his skin lost the grayish tone.

"Haha, it'll take more then an insult or two to anger me into a fight."
Mareshin laughed.
"Besides, if anything she has every right to tell me such things. But since my attention is no longer needed here, I will have to leave you all."
Mareshin made a small bow of courtnesy and turned around, heading for the alley he first appeared from and had already set course to one time before. As he nearly would turn in the alley and dissapear from their view, he raised up his right hand and waved once at the three without looking back.
In the alley, Mareshin opened a door which hid the familiar flames that he could use as a portal. But instead of directly walking into it he started talking to it.
"I want you to find out as much as you can about those three. The girls have priority, but do not neglect the boy."
Strangly the portal answered Mareshin's command.
"As you wish."
Then Mareshin closed the door and walked to the back of the alley, there he opened a door, which did not reveal a flaming portal, but just the interior of that building. Mareshin walked up two stairs and then stopped by a window, appearantly this building was part of two alleys, one where the three could just look at and one that was about half to three quaters of a miles walking distance. Mareshin jumped from the window on a flat roof and opened the next door to reveal the flaming portal.
He looked back one time, before fanishing withing the flames and the door automatically closed behind him.

Danielle honestly wasn't surprised by the almost docile and calm attitude of the master demon who chuckled deeply. Something about that chuckle Danielle found herself liking it... So strong... So... Bahh! That wasn't something to think about now!!
Regardless of such disturbingly strange thoughts, Danielle was equally unsurprised that Zion was unanxious to battle. He was smarter than that, and he knew full well that it was better to avoid such dangerous battles than to start them, but keeping up his defences was also a smart idea should something have gotten started.
It didn't though, and things calmed down. Mareshin took his leave, and Danielle found herself compelled suddenly to tell him her name. A lump clogged her throat at that moment, though, restraining her voice. Something made her want to tell him, but something of better strength held her back. In moments he was gone...
Danielle let out a breath that nestled within her lump-clogged throat, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders and the tension dissipate.
She looked between her two friends, wondering how they were feeling. She hoped no one brought up what she'd been thinking... She really didn't want them to know she knew more than she was willing to let on. She didn't think anyone had seen her facial expressions only minutes before, so she wasn't too worried.

Penelope just shrugged in defeat. She was enjoying the moment, a moment of conversation which she starved for. There was a moment of silence as the group struggled to know what to say. However, she turned around and looked at the rest of this strange crew.
"I own you some food, don't I?" she smiled at Danielle.

Zion relaxed fully again. It was odd being around such a dangerous being without having his guard up. He tried to sence Mareshin aftr going around the corner but failed. He decided that the demon must have changed locations. He heard the Grim Reaper mention food. "We were all heading there together." He woundered when they would next meet that demon again. At least his boredom was at long last dispelled. This caused him to grin slightly.

As the countless firy tounges, almost literally, where licking Mareshin, he traveled to his room in what was one of the main hideouts of the Death Dealers. Flames spurted up from the ground and materialised Mareshin in the middle, he inmediatly walked up to his desk.
'Amazing, their mostly just a bunch of murderes, absolutely nothing more, yet *I* have paperwork.'
"Recorder, enter!"
Recorder was the title given to the man or woman appointed to each of the highest ranking members, they are to record everything they and their subordinates do.
"Your wish, master?"
"Come here for a second, I'll show you as usual and I have a more specific job for you."
"By your command."
The Recorder followed Mareshin to the back of the room, there's a pedestal which holds some sort of bowl. The bowl contains a black liquid and Mareshin let the tip of his finger toutch the fluid and then presses that finger against his forehead. From the middle of the bowl flames errupt and follow the surface of the water untill they reach the edge of it and then dissapear. Within the black water are now images and strange runes. Even Mareshin doesn't know the exact meaning, it is the language of the Recorders, only they know it.
The images and runes tell the story of what had happened after Mareshin was disturbed in his meditation till the moment he traveled to his 'office'.
"You have been doing it again, master. But I shall hold my voice and they can not read.."
"And now the assignment, I want you to once again consult the library. Get me everything on Grim Reapers. Their behavior in general, appearances, missions, every little thing... And perhaps you can see what rumors go around, especially about her, but also about the others."
"You are the first to employ me like this, but I enjoy the work for this master."
"Then all the others where fools, not to recognise your wisdom. Or that of the other Recorders. Despite the long history of the Death Dealers you are only third generation and that while the first generation was murderd. You hold almost half of all their knowlage."
The Recorder grinned and left the room without a word, without a sound.

Danielle still worried internally if she'd been marked for her insight, but it quickly became apparent that no one but herself was aware that she knew anymore than the simple fact the Death Dealers were bad, and that something evil was being plotted, and Dani, to be honest, was content with keeping it as such.
The density of the air seemed to lighten, a pressure being taken off the shoulders of the whole group as the mood brightened slightly by means of Penelope, whom pointed out the earlier promise she'd made to get her friends food.
Keeping pace with this lighter, happier situation, Danielle smiled in return and nodded her head happily. "I believe you do!" She said in a happy, but natually soft tone of voice, glad that things seemed to be less serious and traumatic, and more upbeat, maybe even fun. She looked to Zion as he commented on the topic of their vow to a warm meal this evening, and smiled to him as well. Danielle was so glad that they all seemed to be bonding, and should she dare think it, becoming friends.

(( eek I AM SO SORRY! School is dominating my life right now, and this does NOT make me happy. I eternally apologize about not posting sooner but on we go with this lovely roleplay.
PS: There is a new charater joining.))
Penelope turned her head to move north up the street to hopefully find a bar though they weren't many in this pitiful town of destruction. Her legs ambled, taking as much time as possible, as she was side by side with Zion and Dani. They all seemed to walk at the same speed. Maybe they have no where to be or go?
She wanted to strike up conversation but no words formulated, but she could not stop smiling. Was it because of having an almost offical friendship or was it that she felt at peace with everything? Who knows.

Zion followed where the grim reaper led. He wondered why the other demon was with them. But then again he had no real reason to be here either. Passing time waiting for the end came to mind as something to describe their travel. "You never actually answered the question you know. Why are you here in the first place?" He addressed this to the grim reaper. He hadn't asked before because he hadn't wanted to get involved much. But now he wished to assauge his curiosity.

Kurt drank, drank deep. The harsh cheap liquor that passed as whiskey in this day and age flowed down Kurt's long neck and settled in his stomach, bubbling away and making him feel just a little more seedy.
He turned his head around the bar. Flashing lights, loud men in dirty clothes dirty girls in clean clothes. He smiled the warmth and taste of the grog flowing slowly out of his mouth as he ordered another round.
It went down, it burned and he payed. Kurt examined himself in the dirty mirror behind the bar man who looked just bit drunker than was prudent. He straightened his shirt and jacket, hiked up his pants and stepped out into the cold.
Three people were trotting down the street towards him. He saw them as they truly were, distrust and fear exuded from him. Hatred and cruelty came from them, along with an overwhelming sadness.
He looked down, he was standing in a puddle of something he hoped was mud. He began walking forward until he was standing in front of the wanderers. 'Hoi.' He said quietly, looking at Penelope, a grin sitting upon his face.

Mareshin was slowly working away the amount of paper work he had to do.. Plans, roosters and reports. He also fiddled with a document written in an ancient demonic dialect, it was hard but he could read it. It would make him stronger in due time.
"Sir?"
A voice came from behind the door, Mareshin knew him, he was a messenger of the one he sent out to get info on Penelope, amongst others.
"Enter."
Mareshin said and opened the door with a wave of his hand, it revealed a kneeling mortal. But except from being human, this man was all but. He had killed ruthlessly, but his expertise came in handy as a messenger. The man could travel to time and space, literally ignoring the time-space continuum.
"I bring news."
"About that what?"
"I was accompagnying Mark, the stealth specialist, while we where spying on the grim reaper."
"And?"
"It seems that there has been a development that might be troubling..."
"Troubling?"
The man reached into his jacket and revealed a pack of paper, the tonge of men was written on it. The file was presented to Mareshin and he took it. But this was an old one, a file about a person that might be 'troubling'.. He had killed two Death Dealers as they where going after their targets.
"Hmm, I remember this case, I had to personally take care of the targets those two failed to get. But what does this have to do with your mission? And with the news you bring."
"The man has made contact with the group you encountered, if the reports are accurate he will probally assist them should they engage our members."
"I presume that, Mark, who can hide his pressence from any non-mortal, weither full blood or not, has been trained enough to keep his pressence from the man?"
"He has followed all stealth training the human army provides and seems to have a nack for it, we believe we can stay hidden."
"Then take no actions. leave them, but keep an eye. But don't get caught, get out of there when it looks like you will be discovered."
"Yes sir."
The man, that handn't moved an inch since the door flang open by Mareshin's will, stood up and left out of sight. Mareshin looked at the file of that man.
"What fools, the file doesn't even state his name.."
Mareshin finished the last of his work and then stored away the file he had recieved in a cabinet along with three other files.
"Recorder!"

Upon the appearance of the drunken-looking man, Danielle instinctively stepped a little bit closer to Penelope, as if she were her protector or some such thing, though it had never really been that way, Dani's delicate mind often thought things up like that, giving everyone in her life a role after some time knowing them.
Dani assumed Penelope may have known him, since it seemed he was looking at her, though sometimes people do just stop somewhere and start adressing strangers as if they were long-time friends... Well, drunks, maybe, and Kurt could have easily fit such a bill at the time. [[Ugh. This post pretty much sucked... Ah well. Sorry for taking so long!! T^T I keep forgetting about this! >< My motivation has been kinda shot lately, too. Sometimes I just don't feel like writing or the ideas don't flow. sweatdrop ]]
