Just thought that I'd pop in...
I'm half vampire...I'm on the verge of albino so I can't go into the sun, and everyone thinks that I really am one when they first meet me....tis odd....
And the whole garlic thing...is bull. Sure some may be allergic to garlic...but so are some humans, so its just something that they can't control. It doesn't fit into the definition of ALL vampires...

I have friends who are vampires.
And none of them even remotely resemble the stereotype.
Living forever? Aversion to garlic and sunlight? Pale skin, heal wounds, living dead? Bullshit, it's lies.
Real vampires are just like humans: some are nice, others are assholes.

Yes, it can get confusing, trying to figure out which one you're talking about from context, but it can usually be done.
I was talking about fictional vampires.

love them. I love watching the movies, reading the books, and drawing them as well. I am hungarian, and would love to go there, Romania and Transylvannia one day.

it's odd...alot of people in the vampire communities these days like the films...personally i find them offensive and demonizing for hte most part, while i find others simply foolish and romanticising. it's really a horrible condition to live with, and very inconvenient. the advantage there, seems like a fiar trade off however. since awakening i have had an incredible world opened up to me, and in the last two years have found that things that boggle the minds of mundanes are simple to me, though that has more to do with my draconity(i am dragonkin) than anything else.
