Alex shook his head. "No, my nature has not overcome my thoughts. I just wanted to see how you would react to that statement." Alex said, looking at Anya. "Seems like you're pretty mature and level-headed, as well as laid-back. If I was here with most other girls our age, they would usually become flustered, blush, and in some cases, suddenly become extremely shy." Alex said, as he shuffled over, leaning agains't one of the big oak trees. "I've never been in this place before, but yes, it is beautiful." Alex commented, as his gaze went around the 'haven', before resting on Anya. Why do my eyes keep travelling back to her? Alex thought, mentally shrugging it off.

Anya looked up at him from her spot on the ground, "Thanks for the compliment." She said smiling," I've been told such many times before but from you it actually sounds good." Anya got to her feet and faced Alex.
" You are very sweet and don't worry you aren't staring that much."

Alex smiled slightly. "No problem. Compliments are one of my specialities, when I want them to be." Alex said. "Also, thanks for the compliment." Alex added. When she mentioned that he was sweet and wasn't staring that much, Alex paused. Ok, it's good she called me sweet, but she noticed that I was looking at her, a little more often than most people would. Hmm... Alex thought.
"Oh? I'm not staring too much? And how would you know that?" Alex said. "It seems you aren't staring that much, without my noticing." Alex added, wondering why she had gotten to her feet. "Fed up with laying down?" Alex speculated, looking up to Anya.

((Ooc: Ahhh...
Sorry for my absence as of late.
So much going on in my life, what with the starting of school and all.
^^; ))
"English two, Basic literature, Alebra two, World History, Advanced Art, Chemistry, and Computer Class." she recited from memory, turning to fall in step with her roommate. "I believe they're in that order as well, though, I could be wrong..." Clicking her tongue in slight annoyance upon rememberance of her unfinished bust sketch, Yuki allowed her eyes to travel back over Juna in a sideways glance.
To say the least, she was rather good looking. Her dirty brown hair accented nicely with the mid-brown irises set in an apathetic expression. Rin supressed a slight giggle as she viewed her newly found friend's outlook. To her, having just spoken previously to the girl, it looked somewhat silly.

"Hee hee! you are more obivious than you think." Anya said smiling broadly," Reading people is my specialty." Anya moved a bit closer and stared deep into Alex's hazel eyes with her own brillant blue. " You'd be suprised how much you're saying right now." Anya added quietly. Without realizing it, Anya reached out and touched Alex's hands.

Alex felt Anya's warm, soft hands touching his own. This is getting interesting. "Body language says more than what we can speak, right?" Alex said back, a little surprised that he was comfortable with the closeness between Anya and himself.
He smiled lightly. "You'd be surprised at what your saying right now as well." Alex said softly, his deep hazel eyes softening, his eyelids closing a quarter of the way. It was all to accentuate the softness in his voice, even though Alex did these things sub-conciously.

Anya moved closer still. "yeah.." she whispered as her eyes fluttered closed," you got it." Anya moved her hands to Alex's hips and moved a little bit closer closing most of the space between them.
This is a great way to start the school year

Alex smiled before closing the gap. His lips came in contact with her own soft lips, oblitering any thoughts that fluttered about his mind. The only thing in his mind right now was the kiss he was now enjoying. His eyes slowly shut. This year is already turning out well. After what seemed to Alex like a quick moment, he slowly pulled away, reluctantly. In real time, the kiss had lasted about twenty seconds.
Alex smiled softly. "That was.... enjoyable." he said, his voice still soft, as he looked at Anya. Enjoyable enough to not want it to stop. Alex idly thought, waiting for Anya's reaction to the kiss. Alex was surprised to find that he had not blushed all that much, even though a faint blush was still spread across his features.

Anya felt the heat rise in her cheeks as Alex kissed her. As soon as his lips were on hers the world spun away leaving her with only the perfect feeling of the kiss to focus on. Alex pulled away slowly. "That was..enjoyable." He said softly to her. Anya noticed the slight blush in his cheeks and smiled softly at this. Anya leaned close again and closed the gap, returning his kiss with her own.

Alex was a little surprised at her returning the kiss, but nonetheless, he closed his eyes. It's even more enjoyable this time around. Alex blissfully thought. He subconsiously, rather, instinctively, put his arms around her waist. A perfect start. Alex thought, as he smiled behind the kiss. It was a fresh new year, and it seemed as though he had already hooked up with a girl, who was new to the school. It couldn't really get any better for him at this moment. The only thing that could wreck this... perfection would be to have a teacher discover them like this. Surely it would only end up as trouble.
A rustling noise came from the bushes, and Alex snapped his eyes open, but did not break the kiss. He looked in the direction of the sound, watching as someone came out of the bush. Releived, his fears were replaced by slight embarrassment. Another young couple had just walked into the haven, and now saw Anya and Alex engaged in a kiss. Oh well, I don't care. It's not like they're here to do something that doesn't involve kissing, or a show of affection in some way. He closed his eyes once more, returning to enjoying the kiss.

This is nice. I wonder if he'll ask me out after this Anya thought as she was enjoying the feeling of his touch and kiss. Anya heard rustling and opened her eyes. Another couple had entered the area. Anya blushed a bit and closed her eyes again. I won't let it bother me She wrapped her arms around Alex's neck and deepened their kiss. She could feel his heartbeat right where she had put her hands. It was beating rapidly and steadily like her own.

Alex felt the kiss deepen, and was thankful for it. It felt good to be kissing Anya, no matter if people were watching or not. After a while of kissing, Alex pulled away for a moment to say: "So... I guess this means I have to ask you out, eh?" He resumed the kiss, pulling Anya closer to himself, his arms tightening around her waist.

The intesity of their kissing was almost to much for Anya to bear. She wanted to be closer to him. She immediatly moved toward him as he gripped her waist. Anya kept her arms wrapped around his neck and lost herself in the kissing.
Finally, breathless, Anya pulled away. She gazed up,happily, into Alex's still glazed over eyes. " Yes it means you should ask me out." Anya said breathlessly.

Mizuki found it a little amusing that Erin blushed just because she called her -chan, but didn't think much on it. "I am too. I think we'll have a nice year together." She responded with a smile. Blinking at her when Erin rummaged through her purse then pulled out a wrapped package. She was especially suprised when it was held out to her. So much so that she didn't know how to react right away. "Oh! Well... Thank you, but..." She murmured, taking the box gingerly. "I never even thought to get a present for a new roommate." She always did have trouble shopping for others, especially those she didn't know very well. With a glance back at Erin, she began to open the little box to find---.

--- a rather pretty necklace, in the shape of a butterfly. The wings had assorted jewels on them in random places, making the wings sparkle in the light. "I really hope you like it - it took me a month to save up enough allowance to buy it. Then again, my... stepdad... really doesn't give me a lot per week." Aaron slowed down when using the word "stepdad", because Sir was something completely different. He wasn't even a friend of the family - merely an acquaintance that they owed quite a huge sum to.
