Doran was listening silently to all the conversations around him, but his focus was on the twins and their new interest. The boy shifted a bit on his cot, then slid off and walked over to the other end of his cage. He sat in the dark corner closer to the twins and the human, watching with his bright emerald eyes.
The foxboy prayed to whatever gods would listen, hoping they took the human instead of him. He honestly didn't think he had a chance of escape if they bought him. Maybe if he drew the attention of the girl, the one who, he felt, could give someone cavities just by being with her, he could get her to buy him and later trick her to take off all those annoying ribbons. A small little grin spread across Doran's muzzle and he licked his lips, eager to taste his freedom again. His eyes fell on the twins again and he growled. So long as they were there he couldn't do anything unless he wanted to draw thir attention.
((mmm... felt like posting something *yawns*))

Naomi sat silently in the corner holding her peace, listening to every word Celia and Avio were exchanging. How bittersweet. She doubted, however, that any real happy ending would come witht he deal. It would result in chaos, oh, it would. Naomi felt eyes upon her and shifted her gaze to meet Doran's own, violet against emerald. What was he thinking? Her brow softened at his angry expression, and she quickly looked away. Naomi lay down on her side, still facing Doran, and used her arms as pillows to soften the cold of the cell.

~Celia was confused as to how her freaking out made him trust her. That however didn't matter much she was finaly able to see him.She looked him up and down noticing scars. To her it really didn't matter what he looked like, what really mattered was his personality.~"You look more rugged than you seem, but looks don't matter to me.It is the personality that makes the person."~She looked down at the floor so her face was not shown. She knew there was nothing wrong but she was still kind of shy about her appearance. Her skin was pale, her hair was pink, and her eyes blood red.~

((As do I...This happens to be the farthest I've ever really gone in a romance-type roleplay, actually interacting with other people. I'm still such a newbie at this so I'm sorry for the mistakes I've made. I know I stress small things too much, but that's me. It's my past that keeps coming back to haunt me...Something kinda random but ironic, the picture for my rpc here looks somewhat like me, just a whole lot skinnier than what I actually am. Everything else...near perfect resemblances))
Avio let out a slight huff, unsure of exactly what to do. "I've been like this since forever, since the wars that have occured within these past twenty years. 'Been fighting since I was eight or nine. Kind of lost track of history in all of the bloodshed." His voice seemed slightly sympathetic after he had recalled his past, again experiencing a few of the horrors that he had lived through where he shouldn't have. His thoughts all of a sudden changed dramatically and his mood changed accordingly. "Now that I think more of it," Avio began in a solemn tone, "I really shouldn't be alive. I wanted you for a selfish reason, to live, and then I'd let you go. It just doesn't seem right to me. Another side of me says that I'd be doing a nice thing...but...I just don't know."
He finally opened his eyes after that little speach, revealing the lifeless and empty deep-emerald chasms. The wars that had lasted such a short time had indeed made their toll upon him and he looked like hell because of it. He has seen too much death; the destruction of the life forces of the many people that he both knew and didn't know. "I just don't know...should I take death as it is instead of trying to save myself, or should I have the selfish wish to live and use someone else to serve that purpose," he thought, remaining still. It felt as if his head could implode on itself any minute it was throbbing that hard. Never before has he had such a contradictory situation on his hands, and neither side would be a win for him. It had also entered his mind that there were others hearing what he had said and he wasn't sure what they thought of him. "Useless b*****d" was one thought, while "softy, idiot, and gullible" also entered his mind. Death seemed a relief more than anything else to him right now, but he didn't want to waste his life like that.

~Celia sighed softly and raised her head the look in her blood red eyes seemed as though she was in pain. She had no pain left, she could no longer feel it.It would seem as though she would enjoy pian, seeing as how it had taken an important role in her life since she was only nine.~"I am willing to do as you ask, if it came down to it I think I'd rather you live and e die.Your life has more meaning than mine.I have a sad story and thats it.My father tried to rape me when I was 9 so i ran and somehow got caught up in a slave train. That is all my life has been, nothing special or heroic. You however, you have fought in battles, you don't need to die."~She sighed once more and looked into his eyes.~"Your life meaning."~Celia said softly.~

Alex sat on the small cot in his cell, staring blankly at the floor. He was leaning on his knees with his elbows, not moving a muscle. When will I get out of this damn place? If only I had my full power, these bars would not be a problem at all. Alex said, shifting his eyes to look at those oh-so-hated bars that held him, as well as many others in this place, captive. He heaved a small sigh before leaning back against the wall. He held his hand out in front of him, and a small fire appeared in the center of his hand. I can't even create a proper fire in this place because of the ribbon. he thought, looking dismal. He closed his hand, effectively extinguishing the fire. He peered out through the bars, looking around for any masters or mistresses that could get him out of this place. He did see some masters, but none were approaching his cell. Heaving another small sigh, Alex went back to staring at the floor. I can't even talk to the other prisoners through way of telepathy in this place. I can only sense emotions right now, because of this ribbon. Alex thought, raising his hand to the ribbon and tugging on it, but it was of no use. The ribbon would not come off unless a master or a mistress took it off willingly. Giving up, Alex let his hand fall limply to his side. His dark eyes reflected that of what he felt, an odd emptiness. In this place where he was a captive, he did not have any freedom, no freedom to use his powers, no freedom to speak his mind, or rather speak through people's minds, and he found it dark and empty. He laid down on his cot and closed his eyes feighning sleep while he waited, and waited, for someone to take him from this place.

warwolf61092 Aeinoose looked up at the twin, his eyebrows hung halfway over his eyes with boredom and annoyance. "I don't think it wold be wise for me to give out my name to people.....things such as you." he sighed. They either knew of what knowing a person's name could do, or they didn't, but he didn't want to take the chance. "You do know that giving someone your name during this age would allow them to have complete control over you? It is a pretty simple concept, after all, for such potent beings."
Though the twin implied that being a human made him weak, it did not phase him at all. "Not only that, but calling me a human doesn't really do much to offend me, or disturb me in anyway," he grinned, intelligence glowing in his eyes. "After all, I know that I am human and that they aren't as strong as things liek you." {{Quoted because our last post was, like, two pages ago and it kinda needs to be here for my sanity to stay in tact...}} "Ah. How pleasant a surprise. Someone content in his humanity, when most humans hate being one of the weaker breeds so very much." They said in sync, staring into eachother's eyes. Thoughts were speeding back and forth between the two minds. Most were related to the idea that perhaps the human had just won out over the fox-blood. "Not to mention he knows enough about magic, and has the skills to practice. Though..." They broke eye contact and studied the human, replaying his punch in their respective minds. "I would wager, brother," "That he knows very little-" "Than the trick he just-" "Preformed." Nephthysia extended her arm before her, parallel to the barred side of the cell, and rotated it slowly- palm up, palm down, palm up. The bruise was already a sick purple, and in the center it blended into a blackened red- the color of her blood. "Ah, but what a trick it was." Absinthe nodded in response to his sister, a small fragment of his mind connecting to her own and allowing him to study the bruise with the same aching pain and first-person view she did while his eyes were trained solidly on the black haired man lying on the cot. He ignored the slightly darker tinge his skin was taking along his own left arm and right eye as he shared his sister's injury. There would be time to revel in it later. "It is true, though, what you speak of names." "And we do, of course, know it." "But unless you wish to run into-" "Trouble as time continues," "We do believe you'll-" "Want to create a-" "Pseudonym to use." "After all, if my name were truly Nephthysia," "And mine Absinthe," "Do you really believe the heavenly-" "Authorities wouldn't have had our wings torn-" "And our immortality stripped?" And it was true, none were ever to know of their real names. Even they had been unsure of their identities until so recently. Now that they knew, of course, none else would hear the terms without death. "Surely," they finished together, "You have a...How is it said in human circles... Nickname?"

((Thanks for inviting me Bittersweet. Oh, and Alex, when'd you join? Nice to see you in the guild though, didn't expect that one sweatdrop ))
"I may have reason to live; to see another day, but everyone has that devine right. Yu have just as much meaning as mine, because some things that I have seen in war, and even done, I would not consider heroic, but more cowardice." He turned slightly to face Celia directly, his lifeless, green eyes staring directly into her crimson ones. "You have meaning, I can see it in your eyes. You have experienced far worse things than I have and you have lived through it all. If it would be me or you, I'd choose to die if it meant that you could live. You are still young and have a complete purpose, though that may not be clear to you as of yet. Know this though, you can choose what you want to do with your life as soon as you are out of here."
Avio turned to another person in a different cell for a moment. There was a person there who looked oddly disturbed or disguisted at something. It was a possability that it was his conversation that he had been having with Celia, or it could be this damned place altogether. "Erm, miss? I hope that I haven't been bothering you with all of this. I know I've been selfish here and I'm sorry for that. You won't have to hear from me much longer and possably never again if you don't want me here at all," he said to a woman whom had very beautiful long hair and looked stangely like a journalist. ((*cough* Bittersweet *cough*))

((Go for it if you want to. That'd actually be somewhat interesting to see what you can come up with for that one... xd . Sorry that I'm a nice guy. I just can't stand slave threads really...it's been a pet-peeve of mine, but I made an exception for this one since I could tell it'd be a lot different from the ones I was used to seeing.))

((Finally, I have made it. School. Such a pain.)) Revna, newly arrived, sat in her cell. Despite the white ribbon around her neck, she wasn't one of those.. Big goo goo eyes at the front of the cage to look for a new master. She was only submissive by her elfin nature.. Thus the white ribbon. Honestly, I think if she got a more... Evil master, she'd probobly go a little against the white length of ribbon around her neck. Really, she wasn't very loyal. Just subbmissive and kind by nature. If she had the chance to be free again, you bet your donkey's butt she would take it.
Rev lay on the cot, her ghost white skin contrasting greatly even witht he gray sheet of the thing. She had her eyes closed, listening on all of the conversations, yet, blanking them out at the same time. She was in a medatative state at the moment, thinking of how she'd gotten into this mess. She would have sighed, though that would break any and all concentration she still had.
