Well everyone, let's all grab a drink and figure out this one. I have a few "younger" friends on here. We talk about school and stuff, I got a message this morning from the most mature 15 yr old I know on here telling me she is leaving gaia because it is a kiddie site now and it is bothering her. I am having a hard time thinking about a "kid" saying this. I know us as adults have this problem every now and then, that is how we got to be here in this wonderful guild. Myabe it is just too early for me to think about this but I do find it odd. *sits back with coffee and continues to ponder*

Sure this site is, for the most part for kids but adults (mostly those who are still kids at heart) come here mainly to socialize and make international friends. I can see as the kids grow up they think that growing and maturing means letting go of those things they did as children. Once they grow into adults and have a taste of life in the fast lane, I think there is a tendancy to try and recover alittle bit of that childhood. Seems to make life go by a little smoother if you ask me. Anyways those are my thoughts on the matter smile

I was just looking through my friends list the other day and wondering where you had got to! As for what you've missed? I don't know really -we have lots of new members, worth getting to know! Where have you been? Still really busy with work and family?

At some point I announced I was too old to watch cartoons, and now they're pretty much all I watch. Granted, they're things like The Simpsons, but they're still cartoons . . .

I have been well. Been really busy with work and running the business. My client base is starting to grow so things can only get better. I hope to be on my own (quit my day job) within a couple years at this rate. Yee Haw smile How have you been ? Have you finished school yet? Doressa Ishimaru_Taiki *Dusts off the bar* Hey all... Saw your new pics ...lookin' good... ahh.. Summer holidays.. somehow it just seems a dream when your looking out the window at -20deg weather... Shouldn't complain though, we didn't even get snow till after Christmas this year. smile Yeah, things are looking up. We are currently preparing a business plan to add a training centre to our business. Primarily training IT staff in networking, security, ethical hacking and computer forensics. I will be the primary instructor. The numbers look good so i am hoping to have something going by year end. It's alot of work, but it will pay off in the end. Doressa I'm so glad to hear all is well! Yay for the growing client base!

Argh... My aching head..
I am on course preparing for my CISSP exam (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and I am on day 4. 8hrs a day of some of the most dry material you can imagine. 2 more days to go and then I am on my own to study next week. i write on Sat Feb 24, 2007 and it is a 6hr long 250 multiple choice exam.
I will be so glad when this is over (and hopefully I pass)
I think I need a beer
