Gwen watched as the man fought with arthur,"This king is just like so many he is a tyrant and he hurts his own people! allowing his knights to allow such blood shed", she turned her attention to the people assembled there,"You all see the destruction your king who swore to protect you has brought upon you join us rise up and stop him" there was mummering amongst them as those who weren't that badly hurt stood up and there was shouts now that the moral was for them gwen turned handed the baby off to a woman from the village and picked up her staff she seen a bandit heading to swing at arthur from the back with a back slash with swift movement she grabbed a bow and arrow from her closest companion pulled back the string and shot the man square in the head from about 100 yards away,"The villagers are safe for now there is non left start grabbing water and putting out the fires lets finish this fight for there will be more to come";

Gwen raced to the well and began to dose the fires with any buckets she could find others helped and soon the fires were being put out but it didnt take long for there was already reinforcements on there way; They needed more time to recuperate,"We have to give arthur more time before the next attack come with me and help distract the approaching enemy", with swiftness she raced over to there horses and got onto one galloping towards the approaching bandits with others behind her she lifted her staff in the air shaking it,"Come at me you naves!!", she shouted jeering them as the group that was approaching raced after her and her small entourage she led them under the tree line in hopes to use the trees to her advantage she didnt know how to race the horses through the forest but it was already to late she had to lead them away from the town... She heard strange whistling and hooting sounds in the trees looking upwards she noticed shadows in the limbs it seemed the other tribes were already here and when they seen the bandits they began to shoot them from there horses thundering through the undergrowth gwen came to a halt turning she swung her staff at a close approaching rider with a drawn sword she used her staffs length to get the wack on him smashing his head in before he had to change to stab at her the horse went flying past;

Gwen looked over at Arthur steadying the horse as he finished off the last bandit,"we have company be calm", she told him, turning as people dropped from the trees,"Who are you and what are you doing here?", Gwen looked at the assembled people drawing nearer there was about 30 in all,"I am Gwenhwyfar the white phantom I ask to speak with her chieftan", she told them; As the leader of the group crossed his arms,"Why do you wish to speak with my father", he was clearly a few years older than arthur and herself but that did not stop her from moving the horse forward and pulling the pendant from her necklace,"Because I have come for a peace agreement", when the man saw her pendant his eyes widened and he shook his head,"Follow me", he said cautiously looking suspiously at arthur he pointed,"What about him?", Gwen turned to arthur and smiled,"Return to the village I will be back there by nightfall", she promised;

Gwen nodding smiling as the others glanced at him oddly and she was taken to his father; When she arrived she nodded her head to the cheiftan and dismounted from her horse,"I am Gwenhwyfar daughter of Harold of ebbing" she told him,"I am the new cheiftan of ebbing", showed them her necklace as the older man stood there in deep thought,"Why did Harold allow his only daughter to become cheiftan? you are not only a woman but a mere child if that", Gwen steady looked at the man with flint and steel eyes,"Aye yes it may seem so in your eyes but I have killed more men than which are present in this clearing now", she told him this shocked the crowd as the older man surveyed her closely nodding his repsect,"Your people would have not given you there title without a reason what is your cause", she then began her story; She told them of arthur how he liberated a small town how he brought peace how made sure there was no religious puresecution he even made way for her people to finally leave the woods and live normal lives and in exchange all he asked was for help for his cause to liberate brittania of all the tyrant kings to be under his order a rightous order and he would need help to do it in this he would make sure have peace throughout the land on his honor; The people listened but could not believe and after awhile the chieftan looked at her,"I will have to think about this.. we know you would have nothing to gain by lying to us for ebbing woods if far greater in territory than our own and your village smaller I would know I have visited harold before asking for assistance but harold did not want to fight the common people and his daughter is not one to fight with them either..", the man looked into the sky,"It is getting late you are welcome to stay here", she shook her head,"I can not for if I do arthur will come and look for me and he brings about him Excalibur a holy sword with divine power", others in the group mummered,"Father this much is true we seen this and were weary of him..", the chiefs son confirmed the cheiftan nodded,"If we decided to continue to live like this will your arthur bring harm to us?", gwen smiled shaking her head,"No.. he will not as long as you bring no harm to people of your nearby village he shall have non to bring to you but with him a new hope and prosperity please consider all I have said", with that she mounted her horse and took off into the darken woods just when the first few stars were twinkling she came riding out of the woods and across the way Arthur was waiting by the gates for her and she looked down at him from her horse,"Has my knight been on guard for me?", she asked softly; Waiting for him to help her dismount.

Gwen looked over at him,"Oh for sure", she smiled,"They need time to think I told them no rush... but the support now will be most helpful", she explained; As they sat down he showed her there banners,"Another manor for the true king of Brittana..", she whispered smiling; Looking around it seemed all was in a good mood,"Arthur have you had anyone scouted anything more?", she asked,"If we can manage to take the south capital with the southern king that is all of southern brittana conquered but it will take alot of work..", she said quietly,"And much support.. we should not let our guard down..", she told him worried;

Gwen nodded with a smile,"I believe your arthur..", she said leaning against his shoulder as she was tired,"I believe you for sure.. we must hasten quickly and take over before..", she stopped produced a small yawn and then closed her eyes a moment resting against his shoulder before staring at the flames,"Its a long road my lord... til your victory for sure..", she told him she did not remove herself even though gavin and her friends were smiling and whispering to one another they seemed rather happy that gwen was finally falling in love with someone for the first time in there lives;

She no knowledge of falling of asleep that night but when she woke she was in a bed she blinked in surprised and slowly rose up this was the first time in her life she felt sleeping on something so cloudlike and comfortable... pausing for a moment to admire the sheets on the bed she left it and found arthur waking up on the floor,"What are you doing down there?", she asked puzzled clearly not understand she helped him up,"Come on then we have to get going we haven't much time", she was already halfway out the door when she noticed messengers from the woods,"That is a good sign", she smiled crossing her arms as the messengers of Jacbites tribe came forward, "I Alvin of Jacbite would like to exstend our alliance with Arthur Pendragon for the retalitation of Brittania in exchange for peace amongst the regular people land for our people to farm and live and no religious persecution for our pagan beliefs", even though he was older than arthur and herself she could tell he was nervous which she had to turn and cover her mouth with the smile that stayed there;

Gwen was rather proud of arthur for keeping it together as she managed to compose herself and smile as alvin as he nodded in a sigh of relief,"Yes.. I think that would be a good idea", he remarked turning to gwen he nodded his respect and then told them both,"We can travel with you now 100 strong..", he told him,"I know its not much but it will be something in the upcoming battle I am sure you both will face", Gwen nodded her thanks,"We do no plan to attack the main castle we are trying to achieve more alliances.. see if you can pass this on to the next few tribes along this way offering them the same agreement we do not have to live in fear anymore", she told him as he nodded,"We should get going its a long ride to the next village at least half a day", she told him,"We can leave some of alvin's troops here and if we meet any bandits along the main road we will destroy them";
