Name: Paramoth
Age: 15
Color: Brown
Size: 39'
Physical Description: Paramoth is a brown on the larger end of the scale but is also more delicately built than many of his fellow browns. He has a long slender neck and long legs that afford him some good movement on land as well as inthe air. However his elegance should not be mistaken with frailty. He still has a deep barrel chest which gives him endurance to easily make it an entire thread fall.
Personality: Paramoth has the same stubborn streak as his partner which only his chosen riders own wall of will seems to be able to break through. Or occasionally a gold's command. He also has a tenancy to be lazy. He's fine just sunning himself out on this ledge thank you very much and when he doesn't have to do anything, he won't, preferring to nap and let his rider oil his hide. It is a good thing that his appetite is rather subdued for a dragon which keeps him from getting fat. Chasing food is also effort. He likes to keep things slow and steady where he won't be at risk of breaking a sweat.
However despite being a Olympic quality napper. Paramoth does have a hobby, it is judging you. Because thats wrong, well he could do better. How can you be so dim? Honestly, it's a trial for him to be surrounded by such incompetence.
What a shame for you he only feels like passing his wisdom and expertise onto his rider. If his rider chooses to in turn tell you. Well consider yourself blessed. He is a highly intelligent dragon after all.
He can be so judgey because he is unwaveringly confident in his own strength and abilities and he choose just the right rider to guide him. He knows what to do in different situations because Ga'loc always has the answer and plans, his trust in his rider is solid enough to give him flawless confidence to speak with the unearned arrogance.
When not voicing his disapproval Paramoth is quite a stoic dragon, he keeps his idle thoughts and musings mostly to himself not really interacting with other dragons or people. It's not out of an open dislike of others, they are....fine. Paramoth has just always liked his own company. And that of his rider of course.
Paramoth does have a soft spot though, and that's for children. He is much more accepting of the flaws of the young. After all, they are just learning and so full of potential. He's more willing to play the guiding hand in their development and growth and will occasionally offer his invaluable advise. Thread help the ones that don't take it though, because it is among the few things that can make the brown angry as people asking for advice then not heading it comes top of his pet peeves..
His love of the young also prompts him to occasionally shake off his laziness and chase a gold, for how glorious to father a new generation? He won't actively play with weyrlings or candidates but he will let them climb all over him or use him as practice.
