Selina nodded at Kameyo's statement. It was when the two came to an agreement that Toso spoke again about soup. Although she understood his purpose, she wondered if it was the right time to try that. From Selina's empathetic abilities she knew that Kameyo was not yet content to take Kenshin off of the hook, and throwing him into the focus was not probably going to solve anything. Still, since he was the Arashikage, Selina decided to check on another file. A look of anguish crossed her face as she read it.

I recognize that the village has lost its connection to the outside world, but does, "Sunbeam Contact" need to blare on EVERY god damn radio station? Selina excitedly clung to her folder to her chest. "I have an idea too! Although mine is probably not as smart as whatever you guys have." She said sheepishly. In truth she was just excited that she thought of a way to fix the mistakes that she made. Hopefully the others wouldn't be too embarrassed about her.

Kameyo listened to the squidkage with mild confusion. She sort of got where he was going but she liked carrots just as much as sweet potatoes. All this food talk was making her miss Trefle- er, food. Tasty food. She shrugged after his tangent, but she supposed his cynicism would pragmatically balance out the kage's optimism. But while her mind figured it out, her heart still ached at the injustice of his assumptions toward her. And maybe it burned because he wasn't entirely wrong. She had more than enough blood on her hands to paint this cave.
"I'll just have to show him that I'm a sweet carrot," she said with finality. And then she immediately felt stupid. But before she could dwell on it, Selina read a note from the mad scientist and Kameyo couldn't help but throw her head back and laugh at the absurdity of it.
"All I have is his lamentation of working solo," she observed as she threw down another stack of papers. "I vote that we have you play that song so we can summon the bot. It'll be safer if we can control where the murderer is instead of trying to track him down. We'll need a spot with few or no civilians, but also a place where he can hear the music." She didn't know Arashigakure well but she tried to think of the places she had been to, recently.
Toso would scratch his squiddy chin. Wouldn't this strategy in turn not only lure the robot but also a crowd of rabid fans and producers looking for their star, certainly if a robot could hear it so could the several people. In all do honesty he wanted to voice risk of using said plan over the latter which was to emit a wave of demon and sage chakra that would no doubt rile the robot as if ringing a dinner bell...but then he stopped. This was Selina and Kameyo's decision making being put to the test. So he'd wait to hear the Jiongu girls input...more deep thought. So that was it then. Well if this situation did attract fans and black suits as a consequence of their decision making possibly putting them in danger. They'd have to live with that later realization. He wouldn't be so sure if not for the fact he had a contingency to essentially create a place where the robot would be isolated from any straggling hyperfans and earpiece wearers.
With a nod the squid would hope on Kameyo's shoulder this time and attach himself. "Very well bloop. We will go with this plan of action." He'd look to Selina. "After all this is what the kids in showbiz and media like to call your redemption arc right bloop?" and so the story goes.

However, once she said those words, a smile crossed her face! "I got it! The core compound. With only APD officers allowed, and it being secluded off, there's no way that anyone who cannot protect themselves would be able to arrive." She replied cheerfully. While the police headquarters was probably the last place Kameyo wanted to go, it was the safest place to carry out their plans. Without a second thought Selina rushed off. She needed to get her supplies if she was going to pull off being the bait for this plan.

It was apt that the squidkage mentioned redemption. She hadn't realized that's what this was heading for, but... she sort of did want redemption.
She wasn't a fan of the APD so far but if it was the safest place, then so be it. She followed Selina closely.

__ Kenshin marched toward where he sensed the massive spike in natural energy. These very temples were where he meditated and learned the sage arts. This energy felt even stronger than what he interacted with here for that mysterious purpose. Connecting with natural energy allowed him to let go of the past traumas of his life and gain a greater sense of focus and perspective. The combination of sage sensory and the byakugan was a powerful one in terms of awareness. He knew exactly where he needed to go long before he arrived. He walked into a temple of Evergreen made from stone but overrun by vines. Kenshin walked into the doorway to an empty temple. There were no monks or worshippers there so it felt eerily abandoned. The only entity that greeted him was a circle in the center. This was the nexus of the natural energy that he was feeling. Kenshin approached it and reached out his hand. Green energy sprouted from the circle and embraced his hand before he retracted it. "What do you want from me?" For some reason, he felt the need to speak as if someone was before him even in that empty dark temple dimly illuminated by the natural energy. The sage grew further frustrated by the mysteries of this divine presence. He quietly waited for some sort of answer to that which the mortal did not understand.

If an opponent is stabbed, the blade will leave several needles inside of the opponent. It also never runs out of string either, with one at the base of the weapon, and one attached to each needle. Similarly, unhindered, the weapon always comes back when thrown for the techniques below, and can be pulled to the user free of activation via its wire so long as the nigh-invisible string is not cut. • Thread the Needle | This skill increases the speed of the wielder moderately while Nuibari is wielded.
Nature chakra flared over Kenshin as though he was set ablaze. Rather than damage him, however, it would fill him with a sense of peace and serenity. His hair would dance as his eyes glowed green with natural energy. "What do I want?" A voice echoed to him. It sounded like a mixture of his voice and a woman's. The woman sounded wise, like a mother. "I want... you to see..." The voice said again. Just then Kenshin's eyes would see before him three figures. The first was a man with black hair and incredible dojutsu eyes. The second was a woman with blue hair and incredible red eyes. The final was a young girl with black hair and red eyes. For a brief moment Kenshin would then see the incredible, evil chakra which radiated from them. It wouldn't detail anything which they had, but would show him the dangers of at least two of the people there. These three would be within Kenshin's sight for only a moment before his surroundings returned to the temple. "I want... you to save your people from them..." The voice echoed once more. "I want... what you want..." The voice continued, this time the voice sounding more like Kenshin's than the woman's.

__ Kenshin felt the green chakra envelope him and he tensed up immediately. He fell back trying to avoid it and yelled in alarm until he felt his stress melt away. The natural energy that consumed his body felt soothing like velvety water at a warm temperature. He was lifted off of his feet as he went completely limp and relaxed. His actions were not of his conscious mind but of his spirit itself. Kenshin's face completely relaxed as well when he fell into this embrace and listened to the words. The words were soothing and otherworldly yet familiar somehow. He heard his own voice mixed with a woman's voice. Kenshin never had a loving mother but he imagined that this was what that embrace would feel like. This moment reminded him of briefly hugging Selina and when he caught Ada in his arms. The unyielding sentinel had never felt so at peace in his entire life of constant conflict. Even his meditation on the natural energy which put the then budding sage on the human path was not this serene. The green energy was reflected in his pale eyes as he watched the images before him. He recognized two of the figures immediately as the light images that Belamos showed him earlier. As he floated in the air he nodded at what he heard his own voice saying. "That is what I want, but how? They've got command over two of the chakra demons of legend and every great dojutsu. I'm prepared to walk into this slaughter if it means simply distracting them." Kenshin knew his great strength but also the limitations of his abilities. "I'm a master of the byakugan and the jyuken and now the sage arts, but even all of that is no match for them." Kenshin's words were not of stress or worry but of the calm realization of the facts. He knew that he did not stand a chance against them, but he would be damned if he did not do his duty. After several moments of silence he gulped and then spoke. "Who are you?" Kenshin suspected that whatever this entity of nature was that they were the one who gave him those sage abilities, but he was uncertain. All of this was beyond his own understanding.

"Who... am I?" The voice asked gently. It was Kenshin's question, but in many ways it was not for her. "I... am with thou." The vines which covered the area started to move as they swirled around the young man's feet. "And thou... are Kenshin Kosei." Visions of Kenshin's accomplishments flooded the area around him. All of the UHV agents defeated, all of the lives saved. All of the hardships in his life, all of his successes. All of his friends, all of his failures. They rose into form and surrounded Kenshin with the simple task of reminding him of who he is. "Kenshin Kosei... you are more than what you think." The voice now spoke clearly distinct from his own. "You... are the one who will save your people. Not with the power of nature alone, but with the power burrowed deep within your soul." The visions faded and the vines resided. Light radiated from him in all directions, and he glowed with the might of nature itself. "I am The Mother of All. A single stone against the might of the ocean." Her voice was gentle, and carried no ill will. "You have shined in defiance of the sorrows the world demanded you suffer. Now I ask that you shine brighter. I ask that you reach inside yourself and become who you know you are." She said proudly. She knew that Kenshin had within him the ability to draw strength which he did not think he had. He only needed to reach inside himself and find it.

__ When the vines wrapped around his feet he quickly removed the boots from his feet. He was then lowered from his exalted position in the air and he stood now on the ground. The vines and the chakra surrounded him and continued embracing him as he heard the kind words. He tilted his head up to see the additional visions. These were even more overwhelming and unlike any jutsu that could be cast. Even his perfect byakugan could not discern where the source of any of this energy or power was. The first vision he saw was of him defying his mother and leaving the Gimangakure prison. After his long journey to Kumogakure he saw his plead at his grandfather's feet. He saw the lord mercifully grant him citizenship in the village but refused to legitimize him. He saw the years of toil in Kumogakure in the academy. He saw his eventual graduation and when Shiro gave him his headband and carved the cloud into his sword. Then he saw Seizan and images that focused on his friend Selina and many images that showed Ada's beautiful visage which made his heart jump. Kenshin also saw Jay and Jeon and his years of service to Arashigakure in the police force. He saw the faces of all the criminals that he arrested and the faces of all he saved through his dedication. When Kenshin was told that he would be the savior and was introduced to the Mother of All he nodded unquestioningly. All doubts about this were free from his mind as he sank into a lotus position. Powerful natural forces continued to embrace Kenshin as he sat and meditated. When he was told that he needed to reach into himself and find the power within he obediently did so. He clasped his hands together and focused on the energy around him with his eyes shut. Kenshin pondered the power in himself and why that may have been restrained. "Love is the death of duty, I keep telling myself. Through my extensive trials, I have never doubted once that I must do my duty to smite evil and fight for justice. When I became a sage I learned that I must guard the laws of nature as well as those of society. But it is clear to me now that the suffering that I've inflicted on myself is what has held me back from greater inner strength. There is one who I have loved." In his mind's eye he saw Ada's face and felt more supreme control over his emotional state, his third eye was opening in mindsight. Kenshin pushed his vision outward to greater horizons as he saw Selina and Kojiro together in another part of the village some great distance away. It was comforting to him to see them spending time together. After a long time that felt short from his view, he would open his eyes. Kenshin's eyes revealed a blue floral pattern in his irises while the ocular veins of the byakugan subsided. Suddenly, the chakra surrounding him turned cyan blue and covered him in an aura. Tears left his eyes as he saw the entirety of the land of floods beneath him from the sky. The distance that was opened to his vision was now boundless. He now stood with a new sense of humility from this great enlightenment. "Even in my great vision, there was much that I refused to see. Thank you." The cyan aura continued to embrace him as he waited for the Mother's response.

Similarly, unhindered, the weapon always comes back when thrown for the techniques below, and can be pulled to the user free of activation via its wire so long as the nigh-invisible string is not cut. • Thread the Needle | This skill increases the speed of the wielder moderately while Nuibari is wielded.
With Kenshin's thank you, a woman appeared. Her long green hair and divine robes would have the man recognize her on sight. She stood a friendly distance from him, and she nodded her head in appreciation of the gratitude. "I have watched you bloom into the hero your people needed. It has been a pleasure walking in your shadow, Kenshin. May you, and those who follow in your footsteps, use the powers of the Tenseigan in the pursuit of preserving the status quo of nature." Evergreen reached out her left hand for a handshake. If Kenshin returned the gesture, then the goddess would disappear after the shake was given. If he did not then she would just dissolve in general. In her palm, however, was one last gift to the man. One last token to allow him safe passage. It was a simple orb, no larger than a marble. However, holding onto it would give him the memories of the sensations he felt while in this temple. This in turn would allow him to fight with equal resolve to those who stand in his way. It was the only gift she could give in the form that she chose. She hoped it would assist him in the oncoming storm.

__ A woman appeared before him that he did not recognize but her voice and presence were very familiar now. Kenshin shook the goddess's hand and felt a marble roll against his skin. When he closed his palm around it he felt that same supportive euphoria that he had felt in this temple. "The Tenseigan." He repeated internally as if to validate the experience. He could see the eyes in front of his face from the expanded view.
With the aura that surrounded him, Kenshin formed a hand sign and focused on expanding the cyan chakra. It then began flickering and raging as a powerful cloak of energy. Kenshin was then able to levitate and found that he was physically stronger through an enhanced jyuken. He then practiced a variety of other skills. He was able to process the techniques of this new skill incredibly quickly for reasons unknown to him. In very little time, he was a full master of the Tenseigan and its reincarnation chakra. He also practiced techniques with the obviously abundant amount of nature chakra around to advance his skill in senjutsu. Once this was completed, he departed toward the academy to learn some more ninjutsu.

The ear splitting shriek of rock grinding and separating from more rock were the last things they could have heard before the feeling of ones stomach dropping as the launch into the sky caused the duo to feel extreme pressure in their skulls causing them to faint. The sound of air rushing by woke him. Golden eyes blurred as the feeling of nausea rolled over in his stomach causing him to feel the need to wretch...the ledge he was near was mercifully within crawling distance as he clawed his way over and...was met with sky. Staring in utter confusion and terror at the sight of the gaping opening that used to have the floor of the temple basin far below was now just open sky. The feeling of a soft face rubbing against his elbow called his attention, "Lia..." he mumbled as a large hand reached out and rubbed the feline for reassurance, "What happened?" he questioned, "Seems the village is now...floating in the sky." the cat affirmed his suspicions with less then a dry tone, "Well..." he mumbled quietly standing up as he would feel a bit shaky about absorbing this whole situation a new, "Any announcements?" he queried as he began to stride back towards the more populated area of the village, "I wouldn't ordain to know, I couldn't leave you alone." she stated calmly pressing her flank to his thigh in reassurance...and in case the idiot fell over.

To be completely honest, Shion couldn't remember the last time she actually had a good training session with just her. No students, no higher ups, no sudden missions, and certainly no ******** village destroying nonsense going on. Now seemed like the opportune time to get in some work, and the Monsoon Temples would serve as her stomping grounds for the next day and change. First, she started by brushing up on her Tai and Buki forms. After a good, long work out, she'd spend the remainder of the day communing with the Nibi. They were starting to make some ground in their relationship; in fact, the two were now on speaking terms! With a little more effort, maybe they could reach a sort of working friendship. That was her mission for today.

It was time for finalizations. A bad air was brewing. Toso would return to the very mine that nearly brought the end of him in the past. The same collapsed mine where he discover Yukihana was still with him...even if just a memory. Caution signs across these earthen walls but Toso, would not let this deter him. He was aware that within this collapsed cave were materials and resources he needed...more over...perhaps in light of his recent mining failure he was wiser now and perhaps this was why he held the desire within him to redeem himself. He would thusly begin his spelunking venture as his tentacles drilled carefully into the earth while he utilized spiral blend to so, and in doing so only uncovered rare an unique materials. He would continue his search...hastily. Determined. Gold, Silica, Iron. These were all nice materials. Expensive materials. Materials which would fetch a high price. Inside and out. What had been a lack of skill, a lack of knowledge, he made up for his mining deficiency with a pure desire to find that 'something'. That muse that would awaken and transform into something that he could consider legendary in nature. Then he heard something. A dripping of water. A lurch of something perhaps. Something...slithered away in the depths of this cave and sunk below the waters of a subterranean lake. As if being called to it Toso followed the clarion call. There at the lake edge, he would find...pitch black stones. They looked like Gelel...swirling a chakra inside them. Toso...was mesmerized by these stones. The seemed to make a sound. Bringing one to his ear...he immediately received a headache. He would shake this feeling off but firmly believe he had found what he was looking for. He would gather as many of these stones as possible...yes stones. That's what he thought these were...and to a degree, he was not wrong. But to the creature lying in the lake unbeknownst to him, this was its waste. There would be some humor in this that what it was that Toso was collecting was essentially hardened chakra turds but to the artisan, he had found plenty to work with as the creature would fade into a darkness unknown never to be seen again. {Gathering Legendary x1 Complete}
