Books and scrolls were going by like hot cakes to her. Just in case somebody tried to mess with her, she even went to go and get some harmful jutsu! The next few things weren't so bad as well. The first jutsu was cast focusing on the fake wound from the dummy in the same room as her, pretty basic stuff. Another healing hands variant, the strongest version by far. Maybe this this, she could have saved a lot more people than before at the office. The next one was an introductory course on the creation of medicine, which she breezed over quickly. Next up was a defensive jutsu that healed the user the moment of an impact of an attack. Another Healing Hands technique but...actually she didn't know which one this was. Maybe it would sound cooler. Last up was just another little temperature regulation technique. It helped vent some heat or whatever but sounded pretty good. Saiko was ready to immediately leave as soon as his order was given. That was until the vortex shinobi appeared next to her with two others. The man couldn't help but, stick around to listen to what was going on. 'An attack by arashigakure?' Saiko thought to himself. As the operative spoke. The man didn't think Arashi or Uzu had any problems with each other. At least not in the history that he knew of. Perhaps something had happened to cause the attack. Again he was ready to take off to do what he needed to do but, Saiko was stopped by Chie's voice giving them more orders. 'Hmm any shinobi that are operative.' A light bulb went off in the man's head as the words were heard. "Lady Uzukage, I have an idea that would help us in a conflict if there is to be one. But, I wish to discuss it with you in private." Saiko said, thinking back to the VOID shinobi that had swore their allegiance to him.
Sonyo quickly followed behind Karuto as he was carted off to another room to give her uninterrupted peace so that she could work on him. It took her a few hours and a break or two, but she was able to get the man back up and running. She even managed to save the arm that she previously thought would have to be stuck in a brace. After she finished, she gave Karuto a few moments to change back in to a suitable set of clothes before stepping back inside. "There you go, you should be all set to go. Just... don't go fighting any bijuu alone any time soon, okay? I'm not sure if even I would be able to fix you then." She gave him a light smile, a bit of an apology hidden in it for her earlier conduct.
"The kid, Koutetsu... He'll be fine, you know. I heard the demon that was sealed in to him was Kokuou, and according to Shukaku she's one of the better ones... not like he'd know good if it smacked him across the face."'Hey!' Sonyo chuckled softly, looking down as she once again crossed her arms in front of her chest. "I'll be around every once in a while to keep an eye on him. Masato's here too, so he's not short on people to help him with the Gobi."

Chie's eyes observed Saiko. The woman observed the confidence he seemed to express. She nodded and lead him to a vacant room. She expected that the man would follow her. Once she was sure it was secure, she turned to Saiko and addressed him. "I trust whatever you have in mind would be for the betterment of Uzushiogakure?" She said intrigued. She had not heard of the report from the wind daiymo, so perhaps they had more information.

However, she attempted to escape and I had no choice to stop her. Once I finished, the Daiymo's son appeared out of a scroll. I then immediately took the son to the Daiymo and asked him to leave Suna alone lest I come back and not so kindly." Saiko spoke, trying to give every necessary detail about the mission. "However, this brings me to my next point. When I finished the mission, the VOID I sided with asked me to return to Suna. To become their Kazekage and rebuild the village. They believed with me as their leader, we would soon become the village it once was. I denied however. I wished to remain here and help Uzu. However, I believe that if I use my influence I can get them to help us in the case a war does break out. The only thing I think would be necessary is that you agree to help rebuild Sunagakure." Chie listened to the report. She had no idea that the wind nation survived on its own merit with no daiymo assistance. She was relieved to hear that the son was retrieved. However, the last line of inquiry caused Chie to halt her engagement. "Let me get this straight." She said as her hand rose gently, but firmly. It wasn't quite a stop, but it was definitely a warning to not push her. "And feel free to correct me if I'm missing some relevant information." She added. "But, with Uzushiogakure at war with Kogarashi, and now we're possibly on the brink of war with Arashigakure, you think that dividing resources to the renewal of the hidden sand village is the right answer? What happened to my plan of rallying the troops?" She asked honestly. She was genuinely confused how Saiko's plan better assisted Uzushiogakure. She hoped that the man did not forget what nation he served.

"I do not wish to divide resources we currently have in a time in which we may need them. No what I propose is that, we make a treaty with the people of Sunagakure. That if war is to break out, they help us in the engagements. We ask for additional troops. Then at the end of the war, if we win, then we help them rebuild. I believe an alliance of sorts would be good for the both of us. Sunagakure will have protection against foreign countries that wish it not to be re-established and we have someone to assist us in the war against the Kogarashi as well as Arashigakure if it comes to that. This is a way of rallying more troops then we currently have, Uzukage. That's all. I think your plan is great, I just wish to expand upon it and receive more help." The man would say to the Uzukage. The man felt the need to be careful with his wording as he didn't wish to upset the Uzukage. "But, if you wish I'll just rally the troops that we currently have and hope that it's enough." Saiko would say, ready to leave as soon as the woman gave the word.

Karuto put his arm through the sleeve of his gi and rolled his shoulders, bringing his familiar training outfit back onto his shoulders. He was finally feeling back in fighting shape and in only a few hours time! He was worried he would be sidelined for quite a while with these injuries but Ms. Rue's aptitude for healing was showcased in her skill with his injuries. Turning around after putting on his shirt, he smiled at her as she reentered the room. "I'm gonna try to avoid it entirely going forward" Now that Karuto was upright again the size difference between the two was apparent- however, despite that fact Karuto treated the woman with a sort of respect reverance "I'm glad to hear that- the village is very lucky to have you...Sonyo. You do a lot for others and I for one really appreciate what you did to me. Without your help, I probably wouldn't be use of this arm." Karuto bowed, formally and low. This woman needed recognition for her actions and he would be damned if he didn't show her it.

Kenny and Char would arrive, holding the weakened form of that boy who Kenny could not remember the name of. Tom. He would just think of him as Tom until he remembered. Yeah, so Tom wasn't doing so well- bleeding all over the place. Tom probably shouldn't have let himself get stabbed. Silly Tom.

Chie listened to Saiko as her handed lowered. It was clear that Saiko did believe that renewing Suna would provide additional cavalry to support Uzushiogakure. It was tempting. However, she was afraid that she might lose Saiko to another lengthy endeavor if she allowed him to go now. Overall, this caused her to make her judgment on the matter. "You may have permission to gather information on the ninja within our village who want to see Suna rebuilt. And I will provide resources for its creation in return for a sworn and written alliance." She said. Her eyes then narrowed. "However, I cannot afford to support it at this time. When Zhi and Masato return with my diplomats then I can take a breath and look toward helping others. Until then, Uzushiogakure's needs come first." She said with determination. Chie was not the kage of any other nation. She was only the leader of Uzushiogakure.

Following the completion of this training, the user becomes significantly harder to topple while armored; all incoming techniques that would move the user are treated as one rank lower in strength when determining of how far the user is moved, and the user can no longer be toppled by techniques lower in rank than their armor. _β Knight's Blade ___β The user studies and acquaints themselves with the many different types of defensive armaments, from shields to armor to defensive items like the forehead protectors that Shinobi Villages use. In the process, they become able to apply any armor techniques to protective armaments and vice-versa.
Frankly, just divulging the information about Niko's battle just didn't sit right anymore with Sadayo. Both ends might have a little explaining to do. Sadayo's attention was about divided when the operative appeared and someone who looked just as official arriving to claim the rogue's body. It was weird how words seemed to get around. The rogue's body was taken from NIrami and zipped up in the bindings of a scroll in the hands of an additonal operative.
Meanwhile, the more obvious operative announced the attack and stirred Chie into the act of giving orders. Sadayo wasn't a stale-faced puppeteer right now. She may have had two puppets out but this wasn't a time to be compressing her precious emotions behind a flawed poker-face. The situation unrolled faster than she anticipated it could and Sadayo was left in the room with whatever handful of ninja remain. Well, she wanted to know what the fuss was that Saiko had to offer. Unfortunately, Sadayo was a couple foot steps behind and the "vacant room" Chie had led Saiko just stunk of a desire for privacy. It was a solid assumption Sadayo would be an unsecure factor that could drive Chie batty if the puppeteer had idly followed in like one without much else to do. But Saiko had apparently left the door to this vacant room open. Sadayo could hear a good deal of the information but not enough and certainly not loud enough.
For the start of the conversation, Sadayo just stood outside with her back pressed to the wall and listened. Her sights allowed to wander as their conversation painted some story in her head about familiar not-so-barren wastelands. Then came the complex situation with the Country's leader and the VOID agents. Sadayo thought it incredibly bold of him to speak of Suna as if it were a stabilized hidden village, in fact, the more he spoke the more angry Sadayo began to feel.
Angry however inspired, anxious, and a wallop of emotions battling it out to decide how the puppeteer should be feeling about this. She wanted to be the one who lead her refugee allies home. She wanted to be the one to be idolized and bring glory to her hard-work. Anger devolved into betrayal that she was certain to shove aside and make room for the sinking sensation of disappointment. Disappointment sunk to the depths of her emotional flurry and raked over the immeasurable boundary that was her pride.
A straight, neutral expression was forced and flawed by the occasional brow-furrow and the "look" in her eyes that wobbled between anger, disappointment, and other thoughts that implore her to accept the present as what it was. It was a plain fact that Sadayo had done absolutely nothing except survive since abandoning her homeland and her dedication to her craft had so far offered nothing to the liberation of the Hidden Sand. Gishin and Nirami, while in need of a firm rinse, were dismissed. Sadayo stayed at the wall by the entry to the vacant room. She absolutely wanted Chie and Saiko to become aware she had been there the entire time. Eavesdropping.

Saiko had to say that he was certainly disappointed by the answer that Chie gave him. However, it wouldn't even register on his face that he was disappointed. The man went down to one knee. "Uzukage, your word is my command. Uzushiogakure is my home and I wish for nothing but, it's success and protection." The man swore directly to Lady Chie. Once he was finished speaking he stood up, a smile on his face. "I will gather the troops that we have. If we are to fight, we will give them one hell of one." Saiko would say before turning around, leaving the room. Saiko turned his head as he left the room, having noticed Sadayo. His eye narrowed on her for a moment, his smile fading. Then as if nothing had happened, his smile returned and his eye opened back up. "Sadayo, we may speak about what you heard later if you wish. However, for now we must complete what has been asked of us." Saiko would say before facing towards the entrance of the hospital and heading that way. "I'll need your help, if we are to be successful." With his last sentence he would leave the hospital, going to find who he could to defend his home.
The young woman stood there, eyes still downcast, not sure what to say in response to Karuto's praise. She didn't deserve it, she was just doing her job... after everything she had managed to mess up, she hadn't even began to make up for her mistakes. What if she had been here? Could she had stopped the explosion that hurt so many people in the first place? How much was neutrality worth if the people died before they could get to her? It seemed like she was always making mistakes, always letting people down. Sonyo frowned softly, shuffling her wait on her feet. "Yeah well.. don't come to depend on me. I've shown many people how much of a mistake that is." She sighed softly, then gestured for Karuto to straighten back up.
She didn't deserve the praise.
"You're uh... welcome though. It's my job. Healing others, saving lives, being there to fix the broken. Which is ironic in a sense, I guess." Hours spent alone in the wilderness flashed behind her eyes, hiding from other shinobi, hiding from sight from anyone who might recognize her in the months after Nari's death. Broken, sad, alone, unsure... She could fix everyone but herself. "You should probably report to Lady Uzukage, I heard some sort of commotion out there a while ago. I'll be here for a while longer if any complications arise or if she happens to split her stitches. I need to take a trip out of the village again afterwords however."

Michi! was the last thing he heard before fully going under. In that span of time, he was more or less swimming in his own thoughts as they carried him to the hospital. Perhaps it was the lack of blood that allowed his mind to wander so freely. When the body believes death is coming, it oftentimes will enter a delirious state. His mind swam through a mix of memories. Memories of his parents before the tragedy, memories of a time not so far away, his own experiences in the Academy. Desperately, his fogged mind tried to put those pieces together, but it felt as though they were getting farther and farther away. The last thing he saw before the rush of light was long, thick, dark hair with flawless olive skin to match.
The visage of Charvalla was the last thing he saw before his vision was engulfed by a world of light. It took a moment or two for his eyes to refocus, but soon he realized that he was not in fact dead, but instead the occupant of a hospital bed in Uzu's hospital. Michio attempted to sit up and look around, but a strong surge of vertigo kept him rooted firmly in place. For a moment, he had to cover his eyes to keep from getting nauseated from the overwhelming feeling. He would lay there until his body recovered, perhaps waiting for a response?
Chie's sword training allowed her to sense the frustration Saiko felt. She had sympathy for his needs, but her village came before anyone's will; even her own. For example, all Chie really wanted to do was retreat into her personal abode and wallow in grief and anger about the death of Takumi. There were a myriad feelings she felt on that topic, but at this moment she had bigger fish to fry. And one of those fish were the issues of Sonyo and Karuto. The woman walked into the room the two were stationed in and bowed politely at the repaired man and the neutral medic.
"Since the village is not on fire at the moment, I wanted to take a moment to address both of your actions." She said with her arms folded. Her eyes first focused on Sonyo. "Sonyo Rue. You are a neutral ninja of Uzushiogakure. Your residency within the village walls was based on the agreement that Lady Ayame provided. I am declaring this act of neutrality null and void." She said sharply. Just before Sonyo worried, however, the leader smiled. "Instead, your continued citizenship within Uzushiogakure is now based on the merit of your actions during the ordeal of the Kogarashi attack. Your actions were selfless and countless lives were saved within your hands. You also did a pretty good job patching me up. Therefore, your actions earned you unwavering citizenship within Uzushiogakure. You also have my ear should you need a favor." She concluded with a closed eye grin. Her sincerity was clear and her appreciation was earnest. Although Sonyo was a neutral ninja, she had clearly shown herself to value the people of Chie's village. It was for this reason that she gave her personal praise.
"Now if you would be so kind, Lady Sonyo, I ask that you give Karuto and I the room to discuss the ordeal of the five tailed demon." She said solemnly. Her gaze focused on the man-mountain as she knew that there was much to discuss about that topic. It was Karuto's opponent who was killed that released the demon. It was also the actions of the man which held the demon back long enough for calvary to arrive. Finally, it was Karuto's personal student who now became the new five tailed host. There were a myriad topics which needed to be discussed moving forward. She did not know whether or not be amiable to her inquiry.
