╔══════════════╗ "The name's Kenzie or Ken for short. I'm his business partner" Kenzie introduced himself. "Oh so you're a surprise visitor. I'm sure he is here, he doesn't normally go out on holidays" he answered. He hadn't seen Patrick since last night and he has woken up not too long ago. "Come on in, Roy. Doubt Patrick would want his special visitor to become a man icicle" he invited Roy on it and stood to the side.
"He might be in his studio" he guessed about Patrick's whereabouts.

![User Image]() Roy Valentine________________________________________ Health:Excellent Mood:Calm Thoughts:"Ah" Company:Patrick Status:Single Account:$792.06 Profile_______________________________________ Roy nodded his head as the man introduced himself "Pleased to meet you Kenzie and I don't think I'm anything special, just an officer on his day off...." he stated with a small smile before walking into the house and was quickly blown away by just how decorated the house was, of course he was trying to make sure he didn't look like he was staring "So...do you think you can show me to where his studio is?" he asked, not wanting to wander the house and look like a fool.

╔══════════════╗ "Oh sure you are, Roy. You're special because he rarely have visitors and you helped him in his time of need" Kenzie explained. He closes the door after Roy was inside and locks it. He rubs the back of his head after hearing the question. "Eh, probably not a good idea. When need his permission first" he answered. He gestures to the main living room, "You can wait in the living room while I inform you of your presence".

Roy wasn't use to being called special because of him helping others, it just came as second nature to him and figured it was the same for others. He then nodded his head when Kenzie explained the need for permission "That makes sense, it is his studio..." he then quickly turned his head to Kenzie "If he's very busy though don't bother him, I'll come back another time..." Roy stated, not wanting to bother someone while they were working. Goodness forbid Roy hated it when people bothered him while he was filling out records and paperwork at the station. He then walked over to the Balcony where he saw what would be a garden if it weren't so cold outside 'And he's gardener too? It seems like he juggles more than I do....' Roy thought to himself as he idly scratched his stubble in thought.

Kenzie walks with him and stops at the doorway to the living room. "He keeps studio door locked when he isn't in there" he said. He laughs, "Him? Busy? Not likely" he said before heading off to studio. Patrick looks to his closed door when he hears a knock on it. He looks surprised hearing about a visitor and it hears that it is Roy. "Okay, I coming out" he said turning off the computer. He opens the door then walks with Kenzie to the living room where Roy was. "Hey, Roy. Quite the surprise visit" he said smiling. ╚══════════════╝

Company:Patrick Status:Single Account:$792.06 Profile_______________________________________ Roy turned around and gave Patrick a small smile as he made his way to the living room "I figured I'd drop by since I didn't get a chance to after our last meeting..." he started "I would have come by sooner but there have huge spike in burglaries the last few days since the it's the week of Christmas, so I've been held up by work...." Roy then glanced over at Kenzie and motioned towards him "I'll be honest though, I wasn't expecting to meet your business partner when I came to your door" he then glanced back at Patrick with a sheepish grin "I hope I didn't interrupt anything important at all" Roy said before reaching up adjusting his glasses slightly as they began to fall down a bit.

"No need to rely a full on explanation. I've been busy myself up to yesterday" Patrick said. "I have made the statue you wanted if you still want to claim it, Roy" he informs him. He looks to where Roy was motioning to then back to Roy afterwards. "He showed up at the last minute on the island. I was in the studio at the back of the house with the door which is why I didn't hear you at the door" he explained. Kenzie smirks, "What may you be implying?" he asked Roy of the last thing he said. ╚══════════════╝

Company:Patrick Status:Single Account:$792.06 Profile_______________________________________ Roy nodded and scratched the back of his head in embarrassment "Um sorry, I just figured I'd tell you...." of course when Patrick mentioned his statue Roy's face lit up a little bit, the prospect of seeing the adorable puppy statue instantly brightened his mood significantly. Of course when Kenzie spoke Roy stared for a minute before what he said sunk in and his face flared up slightly "You...I......I...You know what I meant!" he sputtered incoherently, feeling very embarrassed at the statement that Kenzie made.

Kenzie smiles widely at Roy's reaction, "The question was worth the reaction. Sounds like someone's mind is in the gutter" he said to Roy. "Enough teasing, Kenzie. Shouldn't you be out and about at this time of day to explore" he asked. He starts pushing him in the direction of the guest room. "Alright, alright. I will go" Kenzie said and moves on his own after being pushed a couple of feet then went off to the guest room. He headed on out of the house afterwards. [exit] "I apologize on his behalf. He likes to tease from time to time" he apologizes to Roy. "Would you like to see the statue now?" he asked him. ╚══════════════╝

Company:Patrick Status:Single Account:$792.06 Profile_______________________________________ Roy openly bristled at Kenzie as he made fun of where Roy took it "Why you....! " however Patrick quickly pushed the British man out of the room and the man quickly left the house afterwards to do whatever he had to do. At this point Roy was no longer angry looking but embarrassed with his arms folded and looking off to the side "Mind in the gutter...I'll show him...he better hope I never pull him over...." he was muttering under his breath as Patrick came up and apologized to him on Kenzie's behalf. Roy quickly took a deep breath and shook his head "It's no problem, I just haven't dealt with teasing like that in a long time...." of course when that statue was mentioned Roy perked up, any previous negative feeling he had were gone as he nodded his head, a small smile on his face "Yeah sure! I'd love to see it, lead the way" Roy said, motioning for Patrick to lead him to wherever the statue laid.

╔══════════════╗ Patrick notices Roy was muttering, but he didn't what he was saying. "I usually don't react with teasing so it stops right away when the person doesn't get the reaction he or she wants" he replied. He heads in the direction after seeing the motioning from Roy. "I didn't paint it. In case you didn't want it painted or want to paint it yourself" he said on the way to the art studio. "Its as realistic as it can be" he said by the time they got there. He steps to the side to let Roy go in first inside the art studio. ╚══════════════╝

Company:Patrick Status:Single Account:$792.06 Profile_______________________________________ Roy listened to Patrick, nodding his head in agreement with what he said. It did make sense, don't react and they won't care to continue the teasing. Of course he forgot his train of thought once he stepped into Patrick's office and looked at all the different artistic equipment that was there "Wow....this is all really cool looking..." he then looked at Patrick "Oh I can't paint worth anything, you can paint it if you want but I'll take it as is if you don't feel like painting it..." he said with a smile as he put his hands in his pockets and scanned some of the different equipment, fascinated by how weird some of the things looked. Of course the equipment was only weird to him since Roy was the kind of person who can barely draw stick figures so all this stuff was alien to him.

He checks the time on his watch to see what time it is. "Do you have any hobbies of your own, Roy?" he asked. Deciding to ask this question since it would be sort of related to the topic. "Nice outfit. Makes you seem hip" he commented. ╚══════════════╝

![User Image]() Roy Valentine________________________________________ Health:Excellent Mood:Almost sad Thoughts:"My life is so....bland" Company:Patrick Status:Single Account:$792.06 Profile_______________________________________ Roy listened to to Patrick and gave him a smile before nodding his head "Yeah, I don't mind waiting at all" he said as he was looking at one of the sketches that was laying out. Roy then scratched the side of his cheek with a small smile on his face "Um...thanks, nobody has ever said that to me before, usually if my coworkers see out of my uniform the say I dress like a..'Kid'..." Roy explained, doing air quotes when he said kid. A thoughtful look then crossed his face as he contemplated Patrick's question...did he have any hobbies? "Well....I...um...I..." it was at that moment that Roy realized he actually had a rather dull life. He didn't have any hobbies in particular, he generally didn't go out and have fun like other people his age.... "When I actually think about it...no...I just work all day, go home, eat, watch the news, and sleep...." he thought for a moment "Well I also write my schedules out the night before...." Roy paused a moment "Goodness my life is boring..." he said to himself, plopping down on the couch with a sigh.

╔══════════════╗ Hiro hopped off of Patrick's bed and started heading over to the kitchen for some water. Patrick gathered up the paints and brushes he need for painting the puppy statue. "Kids must be dressing very maturely these days then" he commented. "Making organized schedules could be your hobby...or maybe not" he said. He felt sympathy for the guy especially after hearing sigh. "I'm sure you will find your own hobby or hobbies at some point. There is no set time in life to have them and their based on what you like" he attempts to try to cheer him up. He started painting after putting on an apron then uses his earth manipulation to levitate the statue so he can change the angles when needed to. "What's your schedule for tomorrow?" he asked him. ╚══════════════╝
