"Understatement of the century. I can control any liquid I like." Well, except Lava...I still need to find some to actually see if I can control it... She said with a confident air. Volt's own confidence told her that she wasn't one to back down from a fight. Laguna smiled, thinking she might like this girl. She looked over at Xashowd, who smiled warmly. Looked like things were going well so far. "So, what brings you here? Need a reprieve from boredom again?" He inquired with a smile. He was glad things were off to a good start, though he was a little concerned that Volt thought he was being held hostage. Guess whatever word that had spread about Laguna wasn't very flattering.

Xashowd raised an eyebrow at Volt's look. She acted as though it was obvious why she was there...either she seriously thought he was a prisoner in his own home, or she was pretty darn bored. He just shrugged, unsure of what would convince her that he wasn't a captive. Laguna was certainly strong, but their mastery over their elements was about equal. Plus, Xashowd had a feeling Laguna's blood manipulation wouldn't work on him...he wasn't sure where the feeling came from, but it felt right. And neither of them enjoyed being captives from what he knew, so it'd be a waste of time for them to battle over something like that. Last but not least, Laguna was a friend.

Then again, Xashowd had told Volt of his wariness regarding how Laguna might've changed...she must've been here to follow up on her promise. "Well, I'd offer you some Watermelon, but the Fridge is undergoing some internal renovations right now." He explained. He tried to think of something that might pique Volt's interest...then he remembered his Feline Form. He hadn't shown that to either Volt or Laguna. He smiled "Though, I do have something that might make things a little less boring."

Laguna listened with interest. She already knew from Xashowd's stories that Volt was a princess, so her words weren't surprising. She was concerned about Volt's demeanor...Xashowd had told her that Volt was an upbeat and often hyperactive person. She didn't seem very upbeat right now...When Xashowd mentioned something that would "make things a little less boring", she smiled, thinking of the bed. She didn't expect him to shrink and turn into a winged furry feline. Her eyes widened in surprise. "You never told me you could turn into a cat!" She exclaimed. Part of her wanted to reach out and hug him right there. He looked so soft and fuzzy...and she had a thing for cats. "Well, it didn't exactly come up." He replied with a feline grin, his voice a slightly higher pitch than usual. He flew up off the ground with his little black wings, putting himself at eye level with Volt. He spun around with a flourish "So, what do you think, Volt?" Xashowd asked his friend.

It seemed Volt had the same idea Laguna did, because she snatched Xashowd out of midair and started hugging him like crazy, his face buried in her chest. Laguna raised an eyebrow and tapped a finger to her chin in thought, wondering why she hadn't thought of that...Then she smiled. Here was the Volt Xashowd had told her about, and alongside the fact that she had blue in her coloration, Laguna found herself liking Volt even more. It was hard not to.

Xashowd was thankful that as a Vampire, breathing was optional, as he was smooshed against Volt. It wasn't exactly a bad scenario, but it had taken him by surprise and he wasn't as used to sudden movements in his Feline Form. "I'm glad that you like my Feline Form so much, but can you give a cat some warning next time?" He said, although his words were largely muffled due to his somewhat awkward position. Laguna just laughed at that. "You two look absolutely adorable together." She stated, smiling at the situation. Xashowd was of mixed feelings. On the one hand, he didn't think it was that funny. On the other hand, it was strangely comfortable. He wasn't sure which feeling held the greater presence in his mind at that moment.

"Exactly what I said. The way you were hugging him and his reactions were adorable. I can see why he likes you so much." Laguna replied. "And I think I like you too. You're more honest with your emotions than most I've met. It's a refreshing change of pace." She watched as Xashowd fluttered beside them, having been released from Volt's hugging. He looked like he was breathing a little heavier than usual, but aside from that he looked fine.

Xashowd's breathing did increase, but it wasn't from a need for air. His body was still adjusting to the changes, as he hadn't been in Feline Form for quite some time. The close encounter with Volt's bosom hadn't helped matters much...combined with lingering emotions from his night with Laguna, he was just trying to keep himself calm. Just breathe, man...just breathe. I hear it helps. I think. Just breathe. He kept thinking this for a while until he was suitably calm, and he noticed Volt had been a little embarrassed by Laguna's statement. To be honest, he felt a little embarrassed too. It wasn't every day one got hugged that intensely. He put a paw to the back of his head, scratching in time with Volt. He wasn't sure how to respond to the situation.

"That you're excitable, mischievous, hyperactive, caring, and a very fun person to be around." Laguna replied with a smile, watching Volt as she hovered around her. "Though the whole 'fearsome dictator' thing is new." She looked over at Xashowd, expecting an explanation. He just shrugged his little feline shoulders. "Jury's still out on that one." He replied, unsure of what else to say. He wasn't certain if Volt intended to be a dictator, though since she was a princess she would rule her kingdom someday. It was a toss up. Laguna just smiled. "So, I think I might like spending time with you, Voltari. You're the second person I've met besides Xashowd who actually intrigues me." She stated, remembering her talk with Dr. Sciurus the other day.

Xashowd tensed a little when he saw Volt's irritation. She seemed to be avoiding looking at him...Was she mad at him for some reason? He'd told Laguna everything he knew about Volt...Was that good or bad? Right now he wasn't sure.

Laguna, however, was thrilled with the idea of having some fun with Volt. It had been a while since she'd let loose (outside of the bedroom or getting angry, anyways), so the prospect of joining in Volt's shenanigans excited her. She smiled enthusiastically. "I look forward to it. You can show me what you do for fun, and I can show you what I do for fun." Laguna replied, her voice taking on a slightly seductive tone near the end of her sentence. She wasn't sure if Volt would be game for her kind of fun, but it never hurt to ask. Plus, she was curious about the hyperactive elemental. What exactly did a rebellious princess do for fun? Laguna could hardly contain her excitement at the possibilities...she then noticed Xashowd had tensed. "Hey, you okay over there, Xashowd?" She asked with concern. He shrugged in response, which wasn't a good sign. It meant he wasn't sure, and was deliberating over something. Laguna wasn't sure what, though...
