S: /Can't do anything bad to her because Writer took away his sharp toys. Stuck being glomped/ "Nice Volt, you can let go now.."Writer, get her off me!
{ W: No. It's funny & you should get more hugs without killing people. }
He winced at the squeeze and the closeness. It wasn't so much that he hated the physical contact as much as of who it reminded him of. Only one person had ever enjoyed hugging him, and he missed her absence deeply. "Mrrrfgh.." Sciurus couldn't help but squirm slightly.

..."Is it really that bad?">.>
*takes the squiggles as some kind of hug critique*
He swore inwardly at the thought of offending her. "No... Hopefully you will forgive me for not being the huggy type. The only people who regularly exchanged affection with me are dead... And those were the people I didn't stab." She had honestly done well, given what little he knew of hugging. And not getting stabbed and hung in a freezer was always a plus.

Volt's eyes flickered with sympathy. She didn't know much about Gaian culture, every day was a new learning experience in that respect, but the pain of losing a loved one was universal. Not knowing what to say, she latched onto him again, hugging for even longer.u-u
The surgeon was caught off guard as she latched on again, but respectfully resigned himself with a sigh. "My Apologies..." Sciurus tentatively embraced her her back in an attempt to be consoling. He remembered the last time he'd upset a huggy female, and drew Volt closer, frustrated with himself.

"I'm sorry for your loss."she mumbled quietly, not even noticing his apology.
His pink gaze was far away as he just held her. "... So am I..." His tone matched hers. "But I thank you... Depressing things should not be dwelt upon like a couch. And it is impolite to brood."

Volt sighed."You sound like those types back at the castle."That wasn't a compliment, and it was clear by her tone as it drifted off in exasperation. She let him go."Try and tell yourself how to feel and you'll quickly see that it doesn't work. So be rude. At least it's honest. I mean, there's a reason why I don't go back there anymore."All those years of royal training, being told what to do, how to dress and act, it was no way to live. One of the many reasons she admired Gaia over the Cloud Kingdom was its colorful characters and their knack at being themselves.
Sciurus raised an eyebrow as she released him, immediately grateful. It would seem the Writer had returned his sharp goodies as well, as he twirled the scalpel in his hand thoughtfully. "Doesn't mean the stubborn people don't do it anyway. Emotions have a time and place..." the doctor trailed off, and currently his were getting on his nerves. "Begging a royal's pardon, but I'm not quite sure you would enjoy seeing me as myself; Usually involves a lot of blood and someone screaming. And the body's anatomy is nearly never as pretty as the books describe it."
