@ Kagae:As you awake and begin trying to improve your armor further, but you are soon interrupted before you can get underway. A Kaiu, like yourself, puts a burly hand on your shoulder. "Sorry, pal. I got permission fer this forge t'day. See the General if ya want... hey, yer new? Or some sort o' passer-by? Git outta here," the man would say, jutting a thumb over his shoulder. Breakfast... CHECK!

Now that was interesting. He had a wonderful sense of humor too. Her mission was far too important to shirk for something like that, but she regretted missing it all the same. Though at his offer to tell more she turned, piercing Kitsuki eyes sparkling at the prospect of exciting tales.
~Knock knock~
"Ah, just in time." she declared, setting down the fox (who was still intent on watching Denbe) and finishing her attempts at gathering the borrowed medical supplies, "Come in! I've already cleared the table." Strangely enough, her accent had completely disappeared.

The door would slide open, and an older, lithe, hooded older man with kabuki-styled facepaint and sunken eyes. He would bow his head silently for now, saying nothing.
Masuyo would recognize him as Kuni Tomiji, one of the Kuni who service this area.
"I wwass innforrmed thhat mmy sserrviccess mmight be rrequirred downn hherre, llady Kitssukii," he would announce in a raspy voice after a few moments.

"Hmm?" the Hare looked over to the door, and decided to stand quietly aside, not quite sure what was going on as she spoke, and then a rather... disconcerting looking man entered. Unsure what to make of him, the Hare finished settling his clothing and the like, and looked to Masuyo for some kind of a cue on whether he should stay or be on his way.

Well this was a surprise. So the little Hare was important after all. Or maybe they didn't want a PR issue on hand? But for a minor clan that seemed unlikely.
"Oh! Kuni-dono, I didn't realize..." she glanced back at the Hare, then to the supplies she had been organizing. With an amused sigh she pulled out fresh bandages and a salve and marched back to her patient's side.
"The Kami smile on you today, Ujina-san. Looks like some high friends want you on the good stuff." she smirked as she slipped the top of his kimono off, undid the bandages, and began administering the salve before wrapping him up again.

@ Kojiro & Miyako:
Hida Daisetsu would wobble a bit and look at Kojiro. His eyes would seem to find some difficulty focusing on him, and upon a closer examination, it looks like he might have been shedding some tears at one point, due to the stained cheeks and reddened eyes.
"....." Daisetsu would go to speak, but would say nothing at all.

@ Denbe & Masuyo:
"Thhiss iss himm?" Tomiji would say, moving into the chamber. Reaching a nigh-skeletal hand out and grabbing Denbe's chin, he would turn his head to the side. "Hhe woulldnn't llasst twwo wweekss onn thhe wwalll," he would announce in a bemused tone.
Scowling, he would take out one of the scrolls from his satchel, and begin to cast. After a quick prayer to the kami, he would announce aloud, "Pathh to innerr peaccce!"
There would be a brief blue light as Denbe was infused with the healing properties of the water kami, restoring some of his battered bones & bruises!
Denbe regains 11 more wounds in addition to that. That should leave him at 3 wounds into Healthy!
"Whhenn yyou'rre donne wwithh hhimm, I bellievve thhe rrikuuguunnshhookaann iss llookinng fforr hhimm," Tomiji would say.

The Hare blinked and quietly offered no protest except confused looks as he was suddenly stripped, and then subjected to first one additional treatment- then another. "Thank you," the Hare said politely to both of them, rather confused by the high respects and who this... slurring man might be but he was polite as he could be while turned about and healed in multiple senses. Denbe wasn't positive whether to take that as an insult from him, or not, Crab's being Crabs, but all things considered it seemed far the better path to just let it go. He came out of it all feeling much better though.
"Looking for me?" He'd say, turning his head to Masuyo, "I must have slept through the whole of the night. How late into the day have I slept?"
If he was late to arrive to meet the general with the rest, it could be trouble.

They really didn't teach me much about this back at Kyuden Bayushi. Scorpions aren't really into Compassion as far as tenants of Bushido go....but I'll try. Kojiro would let out a sigh but buck up somewhat, making sure his voice was bright and cheerful. "We need to find our friends and meet with the Rikugushokan, Daisetsu-san. However, we should have some free time after that. Would you like to have tea with us?"
Kojiro would wait for the big Hida's response.

"Noriyori-san might disagree." she giggled, remembering the treatments she had administered to the brazen Hida last night. In an odd twist, it seemed her accent returned for Tomiji, but her indifference to Denbe was nearly gone. She finished securing the bandage and stepped back with a nod to his thanks.
"It is still early if you would like breakfast. Otherwise I could~ ah..." she hesitated, showing the first signs of nervousness, "...I could show you the way."
Before he could answer she turned to Tomiji and bowed, "If ya see Kaiu-dono, lettim know I've left his supplies here, with m'thanks."

As Miyako followed Kojiro out and they came upon the Hida, she watched him and how he behaved around Kojiro. Poor thing. Taking her fan, she thwapped Koiro on the shoulder. "Kojiro-san! And here I was telling Hida-san last night about how Kami blessed you were. Perhaps you should tell him some of your stories while I go find Ujina-san and our little crab." It wasn't exactly a request. She seemed genuinely annoyed with Kojiro.

"If that is your wish, Miyako-san." Kojiro shrugged. "I'm sure you can find them both quickly and easily all by yourself in this great Crab castle. Finding Ujina-san first might be for the best. Kaiu-san may be building himself into the castle somewhere." to Daisetsu-san Kojiro said, "Let's head to the mess. If I have to tell stories, I want to sit down and relax. I learned a slew of good ones about five years ago..."

Hida Daisetsu lets out a wheezing breath, and slowly turns, as if it was the hardest thing in the world. He would move to a door just down the hall, sliding it open, and stumbling in. He would leave the door wide open as he dragged his feet inside, saying nothing to Kojiro.
Maybe he wants you to follow him?

The older Kuni would bow his head. "I shhalll passs onn yourr thhannkss, Kitssuukii-ssann," he would say in his raspy voice. "Thhouugh, mmosst off thhe othherr ssamurrai hhave allreadyy hhad brreakffasst. Thhe gennerrall mmight allreadyy be wwaitinng ffor ourr guesst," he explained, indicating that this side of the RP was a little later in the morning than the others!
Suddenly, a bushi would turn a corner beyond the room, and spot the three of you. He would rush towards the chamber, stopping at the doorway. "Tomiji-san, there's been a... er... can I speak with you in private?" the young bushi would correct himself, taking note of the two of you.
"Parrdonn mme, dutyy calllss," Tomiji would say to you both, bowing his head again, the same indifferent look upon his face as earlier. At this point, he would turn to leave with the messenger.
