Maybe you can borrow a friends camera? or someone else you know who might have one in the mean time?
Art medium is the form in which you'll creat your art piece. Some people its on the computer, others its traditional so pencil and papper, some is music, some is making jewlery ect. : )

Also I think the fact that so many people will be participating it might help encourage you to stick to it. >: D Often its hard to do things by our selves, but if we do them together its sometimes better and easier on the self moral : ) hehe I hope you stick to it in anycase! Also to answer your question. If you miss a day what will happen is we'll cross off your name in the list. So you won't be eligible for the prize at the end. BUT if you wish to continue, which would be really cool if you did : ) your more than welcome to post your work and I'll keep your work updated anyways, you just won't be able to get the prize at the end. : ) Unfinished pieces are ok, as long as you do the work in the limited time requested. Its fun to push yourself to finish your pieces if you want to work on speed drawing, but everyones goals are different. So not everyone will be aiming to achieve the same things with this event. So no worries if its not compleated. : )

Hey great! I'm glade to see such enthousiasm : ) To answer your questions you'll be giving a choice of 2-3 subjects every day, your drawing will have to be drawn on that day and relate to the subject in order to count towards the prize. If you wanna draw your own thing in the mean time your allowed to do that as well, I'll keep the posts updated with peoples new works, however you will not be eligible for the 500k prize at the end if you do. And yes animations pictures are allowed so long as we can see the animation, and you can add more mediums later. The medium section is more to give us an idea of what king of mediums people will be applying during this event.
Hey spoof!!! how are you : ) To answer your question, no you do not need to make your art pieces all under one art medium. Your acctually encourgaed to explore and try new things, get creative and go out of your comfort zone. Its the best way to improve!
I understand, I've even thoughed about raising the prize to encourage people to stick to it, but sadly, all the funds are comming out of my pocket directly, and for every 2 people that finish the event I'll be handing out 1 million gold. So you can see how it adds up rather fast. With the people who have enrolled just today I'm already up to 20 mill if everyone sticks to it and goes from start to finish. I'd rather keep the prize number reasonable in case everyone surprises me and finish the event, that I'm able to pay up XD haha. The event is mostly to encourage people to try to improve more than it is for the gold. But thats why I added a possible bonus at the end. It depends on how many people are still standing at the end of the event.
Well right now I'm considering changing the date to the 2cd of jan, just so people who might be returning home from new years have time to relaxe. But as for the rest, its a little shaky as a subject, as it causes another problem. If you think this might be a problem for you individually, send me a pm and well talk : )
Umm for now we would prefer if you had some kind of digital device that could tell us the date instead of pen and papper, but this seems to be an issue comming up a lot, so this might change inbetween now and the actuall event. And to answer your question yes, the event will start on the first of january, so nothing is due before. Were starting on the first, because lots of people will be away during the holidays and we didn't want it to be unfaire for people seeing there family during that time. We might push it back another day to jan 2cd to be more fair, but thats still in discussion for now.
Yup, sorry, but thats exactly what this type of event aims to help artist with, consistency : ) If your interested in trying you should give it a shot. You don't have to compleate a piece in order to post, you just need to work on one art piece (who's subject will change everyday) for a min of half an hour each day. Its just a little push to try new things. If you'd like to try different mediums now is an excellent time to try as well : )
Yes incompleate pieces are ok, so long as you've worked on them for a min of half an hour. The goal is simply to improve so if you want to work on quick sketchs, drawing a dozen sketchs with in a half hour is fine as well.
Yup! What will happen is if you don't commit an art piece one day well scratch off your name, so you won't be eligible for the 500k prize at the end. But if you post your images I'll still update your images, so your more than encouraged to continue : ) The events main goal is to encourage artist to improve so more power to yea : )
