Larkanna nodded, "Then since I have your permission, I'll take my leave." As she left the room, Wyrm took on a physical form without the witch's knowledge.
Sitting down, he resembled a dog very much, but he didn't know this since he hadn't seen a dog in over three thousand years or more. "What an oddity you two are." He said in an ancient tone of voice. "I used to search for someone that would always be themself, but now I have two that I am a familiar to."

Elkand nodded and watched her leave before he closed his eyes and took a deep breath and let it out slow. He muttered a small spell which didn't require much energy at all as the fire went out and the room went pitch blade. Once completely went to sleep marks started to appear on his skin and glow the only things you could see in the darkness. His staff lifted itself off the ground and hit the floor twice calling the out the giant bird once again as it wandered though the house and stood in front of door like a statue standing guard.

Larkanna entered his room and looked around for a minute before shrugging. Though it wasn't her room back in her home, she thought that it was comfortable. She was too tired to really care. Climbing into the bed after pulling off her boots and stockings, she closed her eyes and listened to what Wyrm had to say. "So you belong to both of us?"
"Yes. Without the intermixing of your souls, I do not know whether I'd be able to be seen or speak with either of you." Watching her yawn, he nodded and went back into the necklace that was still around her neck. "Sleep well, my friend." By the time he'd said that, she was already slipping into the world of dreams.

The Next day Elkand awoke to knocking, loud seemingly angry knocking. He stood up and yawned loudly the marks on his skin vanished. He slowly walked over to the door trying to wake up in the time before he actually reached it. He placed his hand on the handle of the door and immediately he felt the cold and he suddenly became more alert and narrowed his eyes as he opened the door he saw it was snowing but it wasn't natural snow. He looked ahead to see a group of mages in white cloaks faces concealed. Elkand simply sight and held his hand behind him summoning his staff " You guys really need to stop following me around, I already told you I'm not gonna tell you about anything." he said staying quiet so as not to wake anyone else as he walked out and closed the door behind him. This happened all the time with different groups but especially this one who always wanted Elkand to tell them something he was forbidden to tell or that just didn't want to as it would be abused by some people and often he had to fight for it.

Larkanna woke up suddenly when she could no longer feel Elkand's presence in the house. The mark on the back of her hand throbbed slightly, as if telling her that she was needed. Standing and pulling on her stockings and boots again, she dashed out of the room. Hearing the door shut, she made her way to the back door instead of the front door.
Sneaking around the house as swiftly and silently as a doe, she saw the 'fake' snow and the figures that had brought it with them. She'd heard of wizards that were in groups like this, but had never actually stumbled upon such a mysterious group. She watched with interest and caution, wondering why they were here and why Elkand felt annoyance at their presence.

Elkand stared at the group they seemed adamant about him giving out info and surrounded him threateningly. Elkand seemed not to worry about them at all " I promised to to tell anyone and I shall keep that promise, begone for you have no real business here." he said and one gathered a white area around their hand and aimed it at him firing a white beam at his back forcing him to his knee as he cringed slightly at the pain it caused. He shook his head and stood up " The creature is ancient and sealed it will do you no good, and I will not allow you to release it, it nearly destroyed the magical community here long ago and such a force should remain where it can do no harm." he said.
He had no clue someone was listening at all. He listened to the leader who was female but had two tones of voice a male one and a female one. The figure stepped forward " That is our goal wizard however we do not plan to unleash the creature among witches simply wizards." it said. Elkand growled " Then I'm definitely not telling you." he said. The figure spoke again " It would be beneficial to your health wizard...." she said giving one final warning.
Elkand pretended to think about it and then laughed " By Aurora's horn I shall not." he said and suddenly his mark started to glow green and he felt a slight gap in his connection with Larkanna. The mark was saying any pain he felt she would not but Elkand did not know. One of the figures hit him from behind forcing him to one knee again before the rest backed up a bit and two started to chant gathering the cold in the area in small blueish balls. Elkand got up breathing heavy as he gathered a small bit of fire on his finger tip and pointed it at one of the figure and let the fire go despite the heat he gathered the flame was intense and large. The figure called a column of ice form the ground to block it. It then started to freeze Elkand's feat and gathered a bolt of blue electricity around its finger before it let go hitting Elkand's chest shocking him. Elkand grunted at the pain it caused.
These figures were neither Witch nor Wizard, no one really know who they were but they favored witches and despised wizards for an unknown reason. Elkand stood up again and focused melting the ice around him foot. The other figures blast him with the same white beam forcing him down and keeping him down and his vision started to blur putting his hand over his mouth he coughed up some blood but he smiled instead. This was something no one had seen or even knew he could do as it was forbidden even he didn't really know.
He put his hand on the ground and started to whisper and the whispered filled the air. He wiping the blood on the ground and created a symbol and the symbol soon appeared around them floating. He coughed up more blood as his hands turned dark red. He kept his hands on the ground but before long the area went blade and a large red column appeared around him blocking the spells and the view. A giant skull appeared in the column and started to laugh before marks turned into large ball and engulfed the area making it pitch blade and then everything stopped.....silence.
There was no noise form even the animals and everything just dark until a loud scream of fear and agony was heard and then a cruel laugh.
Once it cleared Elkand was on his feet staring at the figures lying on the ground pulled of blood around some of them . The leader of the group stood up injured and bleeding as well as two other members. The other two went and grabbed the others pulling them away leaving a trail of blood The leader moved away and ran off with the others before summoning their own dragons and leaving the area. The snow stopped and the area heated up though the ground was still iced over. Elkand watched them go before he fell to the ground on his hands and knees breathing heavily coming to his senses.
((Was gonna do this later but I felt like doing it now for some reason..))

Larkanna watched in utter silence, but when he was knocked to his knees the first time, she also was. She had been about to crawl out from her place in the shadows of the building when the symbol on the back of her hand glowed green. As he was knocked to the ground again, she felt no pain nor did she feel the draining of energy as he performed a spell that ev en she never would have dreamed of using. It was an ancient spell that she had never thought she'd ever see. An odd choice, but a brilliant one at that. I would have incinerated them if I were in his shoes.
When the mysterious group had run off with their tails between their legs she chose to show herself. Stepping out from her hiding place, she dashed over, keeping a close eye on the retreating group to see whether they had the nerve to try and attack again, even in the state that they were currently in. Kneeling next to him, Larkanna reached out and placed her hand lightly on his back before chanting a oxygen spell that would allow him to regain his breathing much faster. "You're stupid... but brilliant." She said with a small smile that made her seemas young as she really was. "Don't try anything like that ever again."

Elkand felt that it was easier to breath with her spell and smiled " Thank you Larkanna." he said and looked at her and sat her smile and was a little stunned to see it. He smiled " I might have to, assuming they ever recover and show their faces here." he said " Sorry if I have worried you, I meant to just run them off but I guess they are getting tired of not getting what they wanted." he stood up and dusted himself off. He was still in pain from the spells they used on him but he could take it. He looked around "Certainly got messier than it needed to be, I wonder what spell that was." he said and clapped his hands and looked at her " So you hungry?" he asked trying to get the subject off the group before she asked about what they wanted and somehow he didn't think the mark would allow him to keep that a secret from her as it was a common known fact that with certain bonds ones problems also belong to the other.

Larkanna stood and brushed off the frost that had stuck to her breeches. She didn't know what to say to his thank you, so she looked off in the distance, pretending to be searching for the group again. She should have stepped up and helped him, but instead she had been watching. "Worry me? You didn't worry me." It was a downright lie, she had been, but she forgot that she couldn't lie to him without the connection informing him.
She was about to ask him what he meant by 'what spell that was'. Certainly he must have known what it was if he'd used it. Then again, he didn't seem to want to talk about it, so she let it go and would ask him of it at a later time when he wasn't as tired. "Sure. Since this is close to my place, would like to join me at my home?"

Elkand smiled at her as he knew she was worried though it was probably just for the fact that if he had died she would have as well. He looked at her and sensed she wanted to ask questions but he was glad she didn't as they were question he didn't want to answer. He yawned still a bit tired as he looked at his hand and the mark went back to normal. He nodded " Sure I'd love to Ms. Blackfeather." he said and looked around and shrugged. He realized he was still wearing apprentice attire and looked at her as they started walking just across the front of his home to hers " You sleep well? I hope my room wasn't to uncomfortable."

Larkannawas relieved that he didn't accuse her for lying tohim, probably because she was a bad liar to begin with. Stepping ahead of him and entering her house. The yard outside was a lavish garden that she grew both rare and common herbs and plants in, but it was well tended and treated with the utmost care.
The entire house was plain and didn't show much about her personality, though she tended to act as if she had none. There were charms around all the doors and windows that would not allow anyone to enter without her given permission, which stopped people from intruding and stealing her precious books and artifacts. The rugs also had charms placed on them to keep them from becoming dirty until the charm wore out.
The one thing that stod out of this entire hosue was the amount of books that she possessed. It seemed as if she had thousands of them that were well taken care of and kept neatly on shelves arranged by author, language, and subject. "Home sweet home." She said with a shrug.

Elkand looked around amazed by the various plants and herbs that one could not find in even a shop. He walked inside a few minutes after her as he took a few minutes to observe her plants. He knew all of them though he hadn't seen them before. Her house wasn't spectacular but inside was rather messy as he looked around and looked at all her rare books and artifacts. He looked at her " You weren't kidding, you have mounts of study material." he said " Its fascinating really..such rare and hard to find things." he looked over at her " I'm impressed Milady." he looked over at her arms crossed.

Larkanna stepped into the kitchen and snapped her fingers, preparing the fireplace for a hot kettle of tea and perhaps some bisquits if she had the right ingredients. She gently placed the lap harp that was on the table neatly behind it, hoping that he wouldn't notice her sheets of music and several instruments lying about beside books, "All I really can do anymore is study. Other than that, I'm completely useless when it comes to potion making or charm conjuring, because once you do it once or twice you become rather bored of it all." Glancing over her shoulder, she laughed a little, a musical sound, "I'm glad you are. If you weren't then I would have to raid the ancient witch libraries to make my collection even begin to compare with yours." From a basket on the counter, she took out several eggs, "How many would you like?"

Elkand didn't notice the instruments at all as he looked looking through her artifacts and books. He looked back at her " Thats actually a good thing...after all knowledge and power are the ultimate combination." he said " Though most of these are spell books, you need much more than that." he said and looked over at her when she laugh as it sounded a little sweeter than he expected. He just decided to forget it and walked over to her " I actually recommend that, but I'm not going in with you the just might kill me in there." he fixed the collar on his shirt as he smiled " If its alright with you maybe four?" he said being as respectful as possible.

Cracking four eggs and putting them in the pan, she began to cook them. "True, but knowledge also comes from experience. It feels as if I been everywhere and have done everything, so I'm usually not too worried about the consequences." Shuddering, she glanced down at the symbol on her hand, "But then again, that's why we're in the same boat." Brushing hair away from her face, the Wyrm's stone glowed as he took on physical form. Sitting there like a dog, he sniffed the air, his eyes gazing at the eggs hungrily. Larkanna looked down at him and noted his hunger and took another egg from the basket and threw it to him. "Try not to make a mess."
The dragon caught it and seemed to swallow it whole. "Mmm... 'tis been a while since I ate." Sniffing the air, he smelled bacon in a cupboard. Opening it up with his nose, he nodded, "Meat always helps fresh eggs digest."
The girl raised an eyebrow, "Forgot the best part of breakfast." Taking it out of the cupboard, she placed it on the counter next to the fireplace before snapping her fingers, summoning a plate to float out of another cupboard and land in her extended hand. Scooping up the cooked eggs, she flipped them onto the plate before it lifted into the air and drifted to one of two set places at the table. "Bacon will be cook in a--"
Wyrm stood on his hind legs and breathed flames onto the plate of bacon, cooking it almost perfectly. "Breakfast is served." He said with a toothy grin before taking several pieces of bacon from the plate and wandered over to the table.
