Varten shook his head, not believing what he was hearing. Two little girls, a bunch of pirates, in the middle of the sea? That was a recipe for bad news if he ever heard one.
"Wait just a minute, you guys aren't going alone. I'll be heading there to check on tha' giant bird anyway, so I'm comin' too. I'm not just going to sit around while a monster flies anywhere it so desires."
Nothing in what he said was a lie, if he had gotten wind of the gigantic bird he would have left anyway.

"Okay." Gonzo said reluctantly. "But no one else is coming! I'm gonna be in alot of trouble as it is, letting a child on the ship." He said, referring to Aryll. "Yay!" Aryll cried, starting to jump up and down with Shiro. "But I still want to buy something. Let's go over here!" Aryll walked over to shop, leaving Gonzo behind.

 -Goddess of Vocaloids-"Yay!" Shiro cheered, running after Aryll. She looked at everything, careful not to touch anything. There was a lot of funny looking stuff, and a few pretty things. She wished she could buy it all, but she just remained silent.  -God of Vocaloids-

Aryll looked around, then she saw what she wanted. There it was, the prettiest telescope she had ever seen. It was almost identical to the one at home, but it was blue instead of orange. It didn't cost that much, considering there was a sale going on, and she bought the sparkling telescope. "Is there anything you want Shiro?" Aryll asked, putting the rest of her rupees in her pocket.

"Oh, okay." Aryll said, walking with Shiro out of the store. Aryll walked over to where Varten was and asked, "Mr., when will you be ready to leave?"

Varten had just given the merchant a few rupees before grabbing the small assortment of items on the counter.
"I'm ready now. Let's get a-sailin'!"
He shoved the items in a small bag that was already filled with items. He was just closing the bag when a small vial of blue liquid fell out and shattered, releasing a small cloud of gas that dispersed slowly. Varten cursed and asked the merchant for another, handing it much more carefully into the back.
"Are you guys almost finished already? You're not gonna grab much else?"

-Goddess of Vocaloids- Shiro followed Aryll on to the ship. She kept on reminding herself that she can't jump now. So she just watched the pirates do their thing, a few of them relaxing with nothing to do. -God of Vocaloids-

Varten kept glancing at all the pirates as he stepped aboard the pirate ship. He saw a lot of odd characters, not many as...err...'rough and tough' as the descriptions of pirates he heard. Maybe he shouldn't have worried...well, no turning back now, right? He had a bird to skin.
