In before midnight. Ever been to gonline? It's the Chinese Gaia. I tooled around with it for a bit before I got tired of it. This girl did free art for me a bunch of times, so I tried one for her, since I really needed to work on drawing women, more. I still do, really...You'll see more evidence of that, later. Something about the faces... Anyway, this one came out alright, I think. That's probably the only reason that I posted something this incomplete.

Rather old, and pretty scratchy/sketechy, this was a quick portrait that I did of Peter Lorre, back in my AIP days.

This was a study we did of the visual effects of ambient and direct light on the human form. It's from about the same time period.

Ah, excuse my absence, yesterday. I fully intended to post, but started to rather suddenly feel sick. I'm fine now, though. This is an older incarnation of Matasoga, obviously rather flatly rendered and highly stylized, for effect.

This was a drawing that I did of a blue dragon from the D & D mythos. There were some issues that I had with it, but overall I am rather pleased with it.

This may be my most well-liked work, with it having been added to one collection, favorited twice, and having gotten two comments. When you consider that I do almost nothing to promote my gallery, this is about as much notoriety as I get for any one piece. Honestly, I'm a little mystified by this. Sure, I like the piece well enough. I don't put up work that I'm not proud of... but it certainly isn't among the best work that I've put up. What do you think? I'd love some feedback on this topic and this picture. What do you think of this and how it compares to my other work? Incidentally, I know all about less skilled work selling for more than more skilled work, but this was done in black and white with pretty much the same style, so I'd like to skirt that debate as little as possible.

Whoops. Looks like I missed a few days again. This was a pegasus/unicorn type creature that I did for a pet project that someone else was involved in. It didn't pan out, unfortunately. This was before I used blending markers so much. I just shaded with darker colored markers and greys to produce shadows. I'm rather pleased with how it turned out.

This one is the most realistic rendition of the character that I've done. He is a fantasy race (D & D 3.5 Halfling) which should account for the warped skull. He'd filed his teeth to points, and I believe this was a living incarnation of the character, though he had transformed into a ghoul. The ToS will not allow me to really tell you much else about him, but I can say that he is regarded in my circle of friends (and none of us are saints, ourselves) as the most evil character that any of them had seen. Indeed, he is truly vile.

Personally i like this one the best, it looks like the person you don't want to piss off big time.

This one is s sculptural piece, rather than a drawing. It is a clawed hand candle holder/lantern (see the hole in the wrist? It's for gripping.) This'll have to be what I leave you with, since I very likely won't be able to post for the next few days since I'll be going apartment hunting.

I'm back, now. This was a mascot idea for the guild that I run... I never did wind up doing much with that.

I haven't done such a great job of keeping up since I got back, have I? This is a much-loved RP character of mine who has been in several games.
