Turning the resources subforum into an "all-encompassing" sort of subforum could also boost its own activity by quite a bit as well. I think we'd need to implement some sort of organizational system though then.
Hmm, does Skype need a microphone?
But I'm online so much, that you could probably reach me fairly quickly.

Yeah, unfortunately ^^; No matter how much I like the idea right now, I still have a lot of reservations about the homework idea actually becoming an entire subforum.

My idea wasn't for an active forum. I thought that I was pretty clear. It was more like Memorable Threads: holiday edition. We could remember when we all joined together as a guild and worked on completing the Gaia Holiday event. You could easily still make it and have it be active, though. The idea would just need to be tweaked.
Your worries about the holiday forum not being very active are well founded, but what if constant activity is really your worry, why don't we put the birthday thread to use, as well? Or, instead, we could make it a "Special Occassions" sub-forum. As big as the guild is, almost every day is a holiday, for someone. Add in the fact that this is a global, omni-cultural establishment, there just might be about enough holidays to keep us pretty damned busy, but if we add in birthdays, wedding anniversaries, graduations, as well as Gaia-stuff like Gaiaversaries, founding days of this guild (or other affiliated guilds), etc, then you're bound to have a very active sub-forum, indeed... Especially if you give someone the task of watching the birthday list and make a thread wishing everyone a happy birthday on their special day.
... And not all special days are happy. I wouldn't mind sharing memories of what an wonderful pet and friend Kenny the chinchilla was, until he died, last October, and others could do the same with any family members that they lost.
That would all be up to you, though.

I don't visit guilds that often, anymore, and I'm soon enough going to visit this site only once a week.
Crazy stuff's been going down for me, as of late, so I'll be struggling for a while.
As for any suggestions on the new subforum, it could come in handy to dedicate it to helping kids with homework, or giving consolation to anyone going through tough times. Considering the news I got today, I think that would be a huge blessing, honestly.

Okay, this thread is just getting ridiculous, counterproductive, & posts like the one directly above this one just make me want to run away from my own guild.
Thanks for your input everybody. Either I'll be taking over making all the final decisions on my own from here on out, or myself & other Crew members will.
