Sparkycc iamlost4ever Then try and explain. The Bible is either the eternal word of God written with divine inspiration and not man's opinion or it is just another book. God's word is eternal and everlasting. If churches are now allowing gay marriage then that is their flaw and goes against the word of God. People make mistakes but God does not. One of the many amazing gifts God gave us was free will. He may have influenced the writers of the bible about what they were writing, but he did not control what they wrote. That would be going against the whole idea of making our own choices, one of the beliefs of Christians. God didn't just "influence" these writers he told them what to write. Now your right God does give us the choice of free will but do you think God would chose these men to write His Word knowing that they would chose to not listen to him and write what they wanted to write? and what about the verse "ALL Scripture is given by inspiration of God...." some versions interpret it, "All Scripture is God-breathed..." God is the same yesterday, today, and FOREVER so is His Word

Jessica_ Uzuma But burning the Bibles would stop future children from reading the damn thing that has brainwashed so many unfortunate People. The bible is a curse in my opinion. There is absolutely nothing unfortunate walking with God! Your ignorance is super when you say "The Holy Word brainwashes people." for one thing, The Holy Word is planted as seeds in someones heart. When they receive the Word, they give the Word for others to learn. The main part of it all is the Holy spirit which molds the Truth in someones spirit. It's the Living Word! It cannot be destroyed!! So do not say these things when you do not comprehend what you say.

Sparkycc, walking with God is a choice, but as a choice and way on how to live and serve God is His Will. We are not supposed to take the lead because that would be walking ahead of God. The Lord expects us to live by His Word and Law. Things are supposed to happen on His timing. People want to walk with God but they want to be in control. God is the one who should be in control.

I believe that it is wrong, because God entended for marriage to be between man and women, not man and man, nor women or women. Thats why it was Adam and Eve. "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." —Genesis 1:27 (NKJV)
the whole purpose of marriage is to create kids and a man and a man cant do that. so their is no point no goal for that marriage

yes it is wrong to be gay. thats not my opinion, its what the bible says. it speaks of that kind of lifestyle in leviticus. we may be living under grace and mercy, but that is still an abomination in Gods eyes. he doesnt affect free will, and neither do i.

Then why do people who cannot make children get married too? For love. Not for any other reason. People whos ilness's stop them from having children. They get married. So it cant be for just making life. And also here is a question: There are so many religions in this world. How are you so sure christianity is the truth?

Because it is written in the living Word!
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came to be through him, and without him nothing came to be. What came to be through him was life, and this life was the light of the human race; the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (John 1:1-5)
And the Word became flesh and lived among us... (NRSV John 1:14)
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. He fasted for forty days and forty nights, and afterwards he was hungry. The tempter approached and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become loaves of bread." He said in reply, "It is written: 'One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.' " Then the devil took him to the holy city, and made him stand on the parapet of the temple, and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down...." Jesus answered him, "Again it is written, 'You shall not put the Lord, your God, to the test.' " Then the devil took him up to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in their magnificence, and he said to him, "All these I shall give to you, if you will prostrate yourself and worship me." At this Jesus said to him, "Get away, Satan! It is written: 'The Lord, your God, shall you worship and him alone shall you serve.' " (Matthew 4:1-11)
Jesus answered, "Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit." (John 3:5)
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. (John 3:16-17)
"If I tell you about earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?" (John 3:12)
He said to them, "Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15) "The Living Word is the Gospel!"
The God who made the world and everything in it, he who is Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in shrines made by human hands, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mortals life and breath and all things. From one ancestor he made all nations to inhabit the whole earth, and he allotted the times of their existence and the boundaries of the places where they would live, so that they would search for God and perhaps grope for him and find him -- though indeed he is not far from each one of us. For "In him we live and move and have our being." (NRSV Acts 17:24-2 cool
All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flower of the field; the grass withers, and the flower wilts; but the word of the Lord remains forever. (1 Peter 1:24)
It is in Christ and through his blood that we have been redeemed and our sins forgiven, so immeasurably generous is God's favor to us. God has given us the wisdom to understand fully the mystery, the plan he was pleased to decree in Christ, to be carried out in the fullness of time: namely, to bring all things in the heavens and on earth into one under Christ's headship. (Ephesians 1:7-10)
Jesus died for our sins so we do not have to perish, but have everlasting life!
And he put all things beneath his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of the one who fills all things in every way. (Ephesians 1:22-23)
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For in him were created all things in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things were created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he himself might be preeminent. For in him all the fullness was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile all things for him, making peace by the blood of his cross [through him], whether those on earth or those in heaven. And you who once were alienated and hostile in mind because of evil deeds he has now reconciled in his fleshly body through his death, to present you holy, without blemish, and irreproachable before him, provided that you persevere in the faith, firmly grounded, stable, and not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, am a minister. (Colossians 1:15-23)

Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away. Now the ones that fell among thorns are those who, when they have heard, go out and are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity. But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience. " Luke 8:11-15

Forwarded from www.choothomas.com ministry:
Tongue Kiss, Fornication, Sexually Immorality (This is a question that was asked at the Heaven is so Real Korean Cafe, so I decided to post the answer here to help some, who are struggling with this problem or sin).
Peace and all spiritual blessings to you all. Hebrews 13:4 says without marriage, no one should have sex. Some Christians don’t pay close attention to the word of God. If they really know how bad hell is they wouldn’t knowingly commit any kind of sin. Read Mark 9:43-48. It says any part of our body that sins, it is better to cut it off than go to Hell with our whole body together. This means anyone or anything including our own body that leads us to sin it is better for us to cut them out of our lives than for us to go to hell that includes even our families. If anyone is leading us to sin we need to flee from them.
Anyone who has sex without marriage is a fornicator or commits sexual immorality will not inherent the Kingdom of God unless they repent. Read Galatians 5:19-21 and Revelation 21:8. People who are not married should not even tongue kiss because it makes a person’ thought pattern change (by them desiring to have sex) and by tongue kissing also leads into sex sooner or later. Some people don’t take seriously what the bible talks about when it comes to sexual immorality and fornications they are not afraid of spending eternity in Hell. Any Christian who knows how bad Hell is will be so afraid to do anything against the will of God. Most Christians do not have a God fearing heart; all they want to do is enjoy the present time and ignore what will happen later. Suffering in hell for eternity without resting for even a second is very serious. One hour enjoyment on this earth can lead us to hell for eternity that is why we need to be careful with the choices we make. What if they die suddenly and have no time to repent. How foolish is that? This is the reason why when Christians are in love with the opposite sex it is better for them to only hug and hold hands until they get married.
If people knew how bad hell is, they would not sin knowingly ever. The Bible talks more about Hell than Heaven because God knows how bad hell is and He doesn’t want anyone to end up there, but at the same time He allows us to make choices. Read 1 Corinthians 6:17-20. Those who are born again are joined together with the Lord. Sexual immorality is sin against a person’s body. Do you not understand that the Holy Spirit lives in us? We were bought with His precious blood. This is why we should never knowingly sin because it grieves the Holy Spirit and eventually He will leave us. Brothers and sisters in Christ, please pay close attention to these scriptures. Jesus loves us and wants us to be part of His Bride.

I believe that, seeing as God gave all of his people free will, others can choose to be homosexual if they, want. I believe the only thing we can do is to show hem God's love, whether or no they choose to acccept it is thier issue, and not ours. The bible calls us to love on others, no mater what they say or do. It is thier decision, not ours.
