With one great shriek, Roga drew his sword high into the air, fully extending his arm above. Having pursed the elusive stag through its very cleverly zig-zagged escape path, the demon has been meticulously gaining ground on the deer. Using the trees, he climbed and leaped amongst the bare branches of this forest in his pursuit. Finally his opportunity presented itself. A pond to the left and a large oak tree ahead made the stag's next move predicatable. 'RIGHT!,' the demonic tree-runner thought to himself. Summoning his might, Roga jumped from the branches his sword in striking position. Falling into the anticipated path of the deer, he struck his sword; A snap and a thud followed.

Roga cleanly severed the neck of the deer in one motion. In its collapse, the prey continued to struggle, rustling around in the fallen leaves. Blood poured from the open neck, making a stream of black blood. "Black blood???" he thought out loud. He looked at his blade which was also drenched in this sticky black substance. Upon investigating further, Roga knelt down to the body of the fallen deer and was offended by a foul odor. The corpse was rotten as if having died long ago. As he struggled to understand this, the demon took notice of a constant cawing of crows waiting above.

Watching the two's hunting style was interesting, but the dear and boar's black blood intruiged her even more. The horrific stench of decaying meat filled Reven’s nose. “Bleh,” she said and walked closer to examine the re-killed bodies. “I wonder why they were dead in the first place. Disease, poison, curse, but why still moving….”

"that sounds like a good idea" Suika nodded looking over the corpse carefully, "aww this means no meat for my party" she whined watching the husk of the boar collapse within itself

Roga observed the area with his eyes glaring, glowing intensely. The obsessive cawing of crows were distracting and annoying, so much so that he didn't hear Suika clearly despite only being a few feet away. In frustration, the demon left the girls' side and bounded up to the a near by tree in pursuit of the crows. With several leaps, Roga made it high into the air only to begins his assault on the birds. The sudden attack was useless after all for when he swiped on with his sword, it simply slipped through the intangible body. " Illusions," he said aloud to himself as he dropped back towards the earth. "Mere distractions," he announced as the demon took a stance, " Lets just force our way back to the Inn." Roga summoned more of his demon aura to the surface, preparing to strike. In this heightened state, he sensed the approach of a familiar evil force; Rumia.

As the demon girl arrived, the glowing-eyed swordsman halted his slash. He turned around in a swift manner to the others. "Yea, I doubt she is lying Suika. This is not Rumia's style at all," Roga explained. Stepping over to Rumia, he placed his sword to his side in a gentle manner as to not threaten her. In a progressing thought, he stood in front of her, suppressing his energy as to not clash with her own. Roga wanted to ask a few questions and felt she would have the answers, so long as he proceeded with caution and Rumia was willing to cooperate. " You say they have always seen this. How long have you been here, dwelling in this forest?," the demon inquired. At that moment, gazing into his peripheral vision, Roga watched on as the crows began to flee somewhere. A small passage way began to open, offering a path deeper into the woods. He was anxious to follow knowing a confrontation with the mysterious being controlling this situation was most certainly at the end. That said, the weary traveler would not be foolish enough to blindly rush into the unknown no matter how great his curiosity.

"Well, ok.... journey... safely" Roga added as she stepped away. The demon shrugged, a bit disappointed by her answer. She seemed put off by something, perhaps that glowing thing in her hair, yet he did not question her further. He had found himself in enough trouble as it is, and with the unpredictable Rumia gone, It would certainly be less dangerous. Watching as the little demon girl left, Roga placed his sword back in it's sheath. Now he gazed over at the pathway which the parting trees created. It was in his nature to wander; the traveling demon had done so for so long. Unable to fight the habit ingrained in him, Roga naturally marched toward the trail. The crows overhead seemed to lead the way, enticing the demon to go onward. Before departing out of shouting range, he acknowledged to his fellow hunters, " You all may want to make your way back to the inn. If you can spot the purple robe I left before the approaching sun down, it should be easy to find your way back. I might be here for a while." With that said, he continued on his way deeper into the forest.

"I would rather be out here when the sun goes down, no matter what lurks around," Reven says, thinking about all the nights. She had never really seen the moon except in pictures. She always woke up somewhere rather then she went to "sleep", coated in blood or next to somebody. "However, there is apparently no meat and there has not been meat here in a long time according to this Rumia." Reven smiles slightly as Roga walks away farther into the darkness of the forest. "Definitely a wanderer."
