Will’s hearing was already significantly above par because of his music training, and he was born with more delicate ears. Even so, it wouldn’t be enough to confirm the existence of voices. He could use the sound ability to try to get a clearer look, but to do so could alert the people if there were any, so he didn’t do it. ”Damn, Noel, you have a thick head,” Will sarcastically chuckled as he stepped back and rubbed his head, stopping any sort of attacks that he had planned. He had made a play on words there. Noel had a hard head, and she was somewhat slow sometimes… ”I have something for you, Noel.” The blonde smiled as he reached for a pouch in his pocket, which had not been damaged from the skirmish. He pulled Noel’s hand toward him and put the pouch in her hand, curling her fingers up to cover the pouch. ”Think of it as a graduation gift.” Inside would be a pretty necklace.

“Hmm… clever, and if they happen to fail, well, we’re not losing anything,” the man replied sardonically with a wry grin. ”Perhaps, some ninjas or the like.”

Will grinned. “No problem. It’ll go nice with that dress of yours.” He chuckled slightly. A great friend? Will had totally gotten her in trouble on purpose sometimes, all in good fun for the most part. Noel had been fun. “Oh, not a problem, Noel darling,” Will answered sarcastically as he put an arm around her shoulders and moved next to her and then tried to kiss her.

Will just smiled as she posed her question. “For you,” he said slyly. “Noel Anderson, will you be my girlfriend?” The smile remained on his face. This wasn’t a joke. He had grown to like Noel, favoring her over the other girls he had met over the years. It wasn't an odd thing for someone to fall in love with Noel because of her looks. It was odd for Will to be serious about it. Somewhat.

Will grinned and accepted the hug and then returned her look. “I’m glad. Well, today’s a big day for everyone. Let’s celebrate afterwards with the rest of them.” He nodded, motioning that they should probably return and clean up to prepare, or in Will’s case “prepare.”

Despite Aya's first impressions of Noel and Gale, the three of them somehow ended up becoming close and friends. Aya checked in on Gale before she met Noel downstairs, making sure Gale wasn't late. "Gale, Noel's waiting!" Aya waited by Gale's door. She was dressed nicely, yet her dress was designed in a way conforming to her hometown's standards so that she could move well in it or fight.

Will was dressed already. He looked at Rave. "Just a moment, Rave. Tats is late, isn't he?" He smirked. He had not yet told Rave or Tatsuya or anyone that Noel and he were officially together.

A voice sounded literally right after Will spoke. "I'm here! Damn you, Will. I know you did it. You'd better not try anything tonight on anyone! Tatsuya was referring to a prank that he had just fallen for. Will had been expecting him to fall for it earlier, but Tatsuya had not gone to the prank location for some time. "And you'd better not get us all flat drunk for tomorrow's graduation. The emperor will be there!"

Will chuckled. "It's just the emperor." He stood up and smiled. He wondered if they would stop at Ayra's place on this night. It would be ironic and a memory refresher of when they all had met. He nodded to Rave as they all set out to meet Noel and the girls. The boys would be there soon.

Aya sighed, but then smiled. Had any of them changed that much? "You look nice too, Gale." She looked to Noel and smiled. "A night before graduation, and then we'll be out to the different provinces..." Aya muttered. She was looking forward to remembering this night.

Will grinned at Rave. "Taking over the city, Rave. What else?" There was a festival going on in honor of the emperor coming as well as the graduation ceremonies. There were bound to be many games and events going on.

"Heh." Tatsuya scoffed. "In your dreams. Who in their right mind would allow you to take over the city? Rave, Noel, Gale, Aya, and I will stop you!"

At that point, they arrived. Will smiled upon seeing the three girls. They were dressed very nicely, but of course his gaze went to Noel and focused on her. The necklace did go well with her. "The three of you look lovely tonight." He smiled at Noel. "Ah, Noel." He greeted her with a kiss. She could tell the others about their status if she hadn't already. He still hadn't said anything.

Tatsuya rolled his eyes and approached one of the other girls and agreed they all looked nice. Oh, now, he's just going to kiss random people before we're all graduating tomorrow. Will's classmate and Rave knew that Will and Noel were on good terms, but they probably didn't know that the two secretly sparred and were much closer than they expected.

"Will, how does it feel? After today, we'll go our separate ways." Tatsuya asked as he put on the finishing touches on his uniform for the day.

"You're slow, as usual." The blonde haired boy replied as he popped his head into Tatsuya and Rave's room. "We'll still be in touch."

"Of course... I bet I know what you'll be doing...Such a coincidence you and Noel are being deployed to the same area," Tatsuya said with a grin. "You're slow. You forgot something." He tossed a pin onto Will's shoulder. "We all promised to wear this on graduation when we first started."

"Ha. How could I forget?" Will smirked, totally not responding to Tatsuya's comment on Noel's deployment location. He waved. "Time's up. Let's get going!"

Aya stood up Gale and Noel. What they had now was just friendly rivalry, and what made this demonstration interesting was that the pairs against each other could be mixed genders. Will, Tatsuya, and Rave stood across from where Noel, Gale, and Aya had been standing in the main hall. She could see Will and Tatsuya snickering about something and Tatsuya very quickly step on Will's foot.

"Will, get serious. The emperor is right there!" Tatsuya hissed silently at Will.

The blonde's response was a slight shove on Tatsuya's back as he was sent forward to match with Gale. Tatsuya had been called and totally missed it because he was hissing at Will to act appropriately. Will winked at Noel.

With a sigh, Tatsuya switched into more appropriate clothes by removing his outer robe and...as revenge, tossing it to Will to hold. He picked up a bo staff and nodded as he took his position.
