[Serpentfang looked up to hear Smokekit's concerned tone. She did not wish to worry the kit with her trivial thoughts. She smiled at Wavepelt when he padded over to her side and gave her the reassurance she needed. She smiled happily at him, her eyes looking at him with love.] "Thank you Wavepelt. You are right. Serpentfang will not worry." you are always there for Serpent, she is so glad to know you. you always know how to cheer her up. [Smiling, she looked down at Smokekit.] "dont worry about Serpentfang. she is not sad."

He looked around for the rabbit and frowned when he couldn't see it anymore. He looked at the two "hey, what was that gray thing that ran past me?" Wavepelt frowned and then smiled "oh, that was a rabbit. It's mostly what we eat in Breezeclan" Smokekit's eyes went huge. "You mean you can run faster then those" Wavepelt nodded "yep, though some can't run quite as fast"._____________________________________". . .Not with a bang but a whimper"

Broken trudged into the boarder, still cross there was no sign of the kit she wanted to scare and a little embarrassed she allowed herself to be chased off, the wind shifted and she caught scent of Cats! Oh great, that's exactly what I want to see...more cats she growled in her head, as the scent became more exposed her tail lifted Hey! That's Snakepelt and Waterpaw...Serpentpaw and Wavepelt! And...and SMOKEKIT! she thought happily, she bounded up to the three and as soon as she got close she got down into a hunter's crouch and stopped just shy of being close enough for them to make out anything but her red eyes

Smokekit looked around, hoping to see another rabbit. But he froze when he saw the familiar red eyes. Wavepelt noticed this and frowned at his brother. "Hey, Smokekit, are you okay brother?" Smokekit looked up at him "it's that mean cat again, I can see her eyes". Broken hissed, caught completely off guard her voice sounded much more cat-like and nicer then normal "And Serpentfang? Oh Straclan I have a hard enough time remembering your names now. [Serpentfang's fur bristled up defensively when she saw Smokekit's fear, ready to protect. she relaxed though when she saw it was Broken. She smiled meekly at her.] "Hello Broken. it has been a while. Yes, this is Wavepelt's long lost little brother and Serpent is now a warrior!" [she said proudly.] "Bluemoon, or as you may still know her, Bluepaw, is also a warrior. She was worried about you earlier. we even went out looking for you." [She said with a smile, knowing that the she cat was alright.]

"That's just like her, to worry about something she doesn't have to" Broken said happily as though looking back on a fond memory, she quickly snapped back out of it though "Well that puts a major thorn in my side. This kit called me-what was it, ugly?" she hissed, her eyes in slits as she glared at Smoke "So I kind of made a promise to kill him. But now I can't because he's brothers with my friends' friend. Mousedung!"

Broken smiled and laughed a little bit "Is there any reason why it wouldn't be? My original intention was just to scare the living daylights out of them when there were no warriors around. [Serpentfang sighed and shook her head.] Serpentfang's suspicion was correct... she just got herself in trouble again horsing around. Serpentfang defenetly understands now why Bluemoon worries about her so much. [She looked up at Broken and tilted her head in a couriouse manner.] "Eagles? what do the eagles have to do with this? have you seen any lately?"[She looked over at Wavepelt when he told her to "stay out of this". she looked at him with worry, hopeing he wouldn't start another fight, even if his annoyance with her was justified. she looked down at the cowering Smokekit and smiled. she gave him a comforting lick on the forehead.] "Dont worry Smokekit. you are safe with us. Your brother and Serpentfang wont let anything happen to you again."

Broken's eyes widened when she realized her mistake "Eagles? What eagles!? There's nothing you can prove! I'm going to kill all of those wretched creatures myself! You're not taking any part of it!! You can keep Smokekit but the eagles are all mine!" she hissed, rage taking over once again as her claws unsheathed and she ran towards the seaclan boarder

[Serpentfang watched as Broken ran off.] so they are still here. The clan is still in danger. Serpentfsng wonders if Galestar knows... [She looked over at Wavepelt and nodded.] "No, let her be. Serpentfang remembers when Bluemoon first brought Broken to the clan in her injured state. She claimed it was foxes that hurt her, but it was a lie. She warned that she would destroy anything that got in her way of revenge, but Serpentfang will NOT stand by while they stalk us and threaten our lives. We should warn Galestar, and then seaclan. Lets go." [She turned her long, lanky body and slithered into the safe cover of the shadows. she padded back to breezeclan.]

He turned and saw Smokekit following him. He frowned "what are you doing Smokekit?" Smokekit looked at him "I'm coming with you brother!" Wavepelt shook his head "no Smokekit, you can't come with us, you're in Nightclan". Smokekit frowned "but, I dun wanna if you're not with me!" Wavepelt sighed and layed down so he could look his brother in the eyes. "Listen to me Smokekit, you have to be a big cat now okay? Listen, often, the closest family, isn't bound by blood, but by friendship." Smokekit stayed silent for a moment and then nodded "okay big brother, I'll be a boig cat. Besides, I have to get back to Marcy and Ducky, they're my new sisters. And Blackflame" he turned and looekd at the cat "she'll be my mentor, she's really nice". Wavepelt smiled "good, now shoo" Smokekit laughed and ran off to Blackflame. Wavepelt smiled and left for Breezeclan.
