It's almost like "durn" (darn), "dadgum," "dang," etc. NO, silly Chibi, it does not involve setting male parental units on fire! rolleyes rofl

Mademoiselle Alvinette Hmmm...maybe I should have gotten you a redneck dictionary for your birthday, Chibi! blaugh Someone actually forced me to borrow one and read it about a year ago, but I couldn't make sense of it. I think the strangest word in it was "torrectly." Odd stuff. confused Wow! You're not having much luck with this random number generator are you? Maybe you should jinx yourself and say that you are never going to win. Believe it or not, Moriko and I jinxed our way through the 50 level dungeon in the .hack//QUARANTINE. The first 20 levels were normal, but the last 30 were bugged. You have to use your bracelet to defeat the infected monsters (you can just slash the regular monsters with your sword). The problem is that if you use your bracelet too much, it becomes unstable, and whenever you use it, there is a chance that the system (playing a video game about playing a video game btw) of The World (the video game within the game) becomes unstable and resets. This happened to me multiple times. So, we sat there saying things like, "You're going to be 6 feet under pushing up daisies." So, after over three hours of that 50 level dungeon and lots of jinxing ourselves, I finally beat it. blaugh Fun times! heart

I got him a funny card. On the cover, it says, "You're not old. In fact, let's have a show of hands: Who thinks the person holding this card is old?" When you open up the card, you see a photo of a whole classroom of little kids enthusiastically raising their hands, and the caption reads, "Oh, what do they know? They eat paste!" I had to get that one because my dad always says that every elementary-school class has at least one kid who eats boogers and at least one who eats paste. blaugh

Man! Well, I usually have rotten luck with the random-number games. I was SHOCKED when I actually won prizes the last couple of events! I remember that during the Fall Festival, I tried and tried and tried, but to no avail...

My luck was usually pretty good when I was playing Yahtzee in The Luck of the Gemini when Momma Gem was still around. I've won free drinks from food wrapper peeling contests before. But, I've never really won anything big irl. Malomy won a $1000 online shopping spree from a scratch card game at a car dealership about a year or two ago. Too bad that all of the prizes were cheap junk that no one in their right mind would want, and you even had to pay shipping for them! gonk Neither of us did anything with it. The prizes weren't worth the shipping.

One more try before I check my other guilds. Then I'm going to bed! This time change does crazy things to the human sleep cycle, and I don't want to be a zombie at work tomorrow! sweatdrop

I'll be driving my dad's truck to work until the part comes. I'm off tomorrow, but I'll be working Wednesday morning, then off Thursday, and working all day Friday. My work schedule's all weird this week because of several coworkers going out of town (it's spring break this week). But at least I've still got some time off to enjoy.
