I'm 23. Course, what age you are now, isn't anything compared to how long you've been on the site...Let's see now...back when I joined gaia when I was 15/16, the original website name was "go-gaia.com"

And the "in" thing to do back then, was randomly vote on stuff in the art arena, and spam the CB.

Course, now, the CB scares me. And I rarely leave the guild since I've joined it.

Even with these holiday events, and a guild member makes a thread for guildies, I still don't leave the safe confines of the guild.

So.. What is 'old' then in Western society, in general? Gaia is not indicative of society by any means.

A person need a good amount of wrinkles and white hair for me to think they're old.

When you become a "senior" I suppose that's old. Retiring age and whatnot.... But people can still look pretty young then.

50 means you're half a century. So that's a lot on that scale.

And 40 is traditionally when you become "over the hill."

So Waku...you're not considering people who have been in the military for more than the initial enlistment...I mean, let's say an 18yr old fresh out of high school joins the military. You can retire after 20 years. Most tours of duty are about 4 years or so...so, this kid does about 5 tours, and can retire at the nice ripe old age of 38. But...are you meaning the age at which one can start recieving social security payments?

this was actually the first guild I joined when I started gaia but for a while I wasn't very active in any guilds. Now I'm branching out.
