Ehh, the UGMF was great.
But it's been steadily going down hill around the same time the mercenary league did. Both the UGMF and the Mercenary League died, and then they tried to restore both.
Well, the UGMF did a better job at revival (becuase it really did revive the guild) but considering it's just a shell of it's former self...
The UGMF pretty much sucks now. It's just an empty haven for about 10 old members who still log on to that guild and post to each other.
Oh, and anyone who actually does a good job in their guild, that's new, they ban. I have a few moles in the guild, and I go in and watch from time to time, and anyone who starts to "Rival the power of the leader" they ban.
I usually try to pick up the good roleplayers and people whom they ban in that guild. Really, it's all topsy tervy. If you join that guild, your not even allowed to TALK to the older members or you'll get banned. It's a guild that I got a lot of inspiration from, but now that their old leaders are gone... it sucks. xp

It's mah, I used to have a whole guild that gathered intel on other guilds and whatnot. I've always considered roleplay battling them, but I don't think that their roleplayers are very good; and they aren't really that realistic in well... anything.
They are also are pretty uptight douches, who would never accept losing, and if we beat them, would probably throw a hissy fit about it and never accept defeat. They also love to insult other people and do a lot of unnecessary banter, which would make it complicated for a lot of people to battle them. Their basically not very nice people and would probably establish a set of rules, break them alot, and accuse us of breaking them all the time.
They are also think they are good when they are not (another sign of a douche), and it makes the whole scenario more complicated and whatnot. So I tend to just avoid them, becuase they don't have that many redeaming qualities.
Not that I care about much other than the fact that they pretty much suck, but a lot of people tend to be insecure/ get pissed off when other people are douches. The guild just has a lot of self hype, and they rile themselves into believing that they're the best- making it hard to interact with them regardless of the fact that they suck as a guild.
BUT! You can gather all the intel you want! mrgreen
