@Epcot - Accidents don't embarrass me. I usually only get embarrassed when my dirty laundry becomes public. Great, now I'm going to have to choose "dare" from now on so no one will ask! sweatdrop

@Scythe - Thanks for being so open and honest about things. It's always good to dump on your friends because it only brings you closer. biggrin And, if it makes you feel any better.... I'm 24 years old, I have a B.A. in English, I graduated Magna c** Laude, AND I still live at home with my parents because I can't find a job that lasts for more than 6 weeks! xp So, don't feel too bad. Someone who went through college is in the same boat as you.

So, now that I broadcast the last thing I want people asking me about... I choose DARE!!! (*If you want me to change my avi, I won't be changing it until tomorrow night because I have to have a New Years avi) rofl

Remember that no dare can last for more than 24 hours! biggrin (It's in the rules somewhere.) But, I can try my best to spam up chatterbox. I also shouldn't do the spam in the ball. sweatdrop

I dare you to put, "Nyo!" at the end of every sentence that you type outside of the ball (and other really serious stuff) for 24 hours. For example, you might say, "I just saw Tron last night, Nyo! It was really good, but I wasn't too fond of the ending, Nyo!" (And if you're wondering where the reference comes from, it comes from Di Gi Charat where they say that literally after the end of every sentence.) Go ahead and do it in the ball if you want too. Someone is bound to get the reference. blaugh

Alvinette, if you could pull any anime character out of the tv and make him your real life boyfriend, which guy would you choose?

I guess I'll do a truth too.

Weird as in illogical, like people who are afraid of stuff that can't hurt them? Don't have any of those. I can't swim so I worry about drowning a bit, but I don't really think of it as a phobia because if I have a life jacket I'm still good to go.

I do have A phobia, but it's something really heavy for me, so if you want to know please pm me.

Okay, Chibi . You are presented two magical buttons. Let's say for the sake of this question, that there is absolutely no doubt in your, or anyone Else's mind that these buttons will have the described affect.

The one on your right, when pressed, will create for you your own personal perfect boyfriend. Not perfect in every way, but perfect for you. Everything you want (weather you are fully aware of these desires or not), and everything you need (once again weather or not you know these needs). He will have a steady, well paid job to boot. However, you will become estranged from your parents and immediate family (anyone who grew up in your household)permanently.

The on on your left will make you the definition of the modern Idea of successful. Good career(not "just a job") that you enjoy and are good at, home in a nice neighborhood, parents' unquestioned pride and belief in the trustworthiness of your choices(that, I think we can all agree, could only be achieved by magic haha) and people look to you as a role model. However you only have one or two real friends(who have at least semi-busy schedules) , and relationships last 6 months tops, and are more akin to extended flings than any depth of connection.

which would you choose and why?

One more truth and on my next one, I'll do a dare to spice it up a bit.

I would definitely choose the one on the left. I'm very close to my family, and I have a good relationship with them. It would kill me to be estranged from them forever. As for the friends thing, that's pretty much the way it is with my friends right now. I have three really good friends, but I don't get to see them much. So, the way I see it, it would be better to be roommates/housemates with my friends and have a successful job and get to be close to my family than have the perfect guy. I mean, I would love to have the perfect guy, but I wouldn't give up my family altogether for him.

@Scythe: Nah, it's okay. You don't have to tell me if it's too personal.
@Chibi: I have NO idea. So few anime series I've seen feature halfway decent adult male characters! sweatdrop Why don't you pick one for me?

That answer is unacceptable! Let's broaden it to include book characters. I'm not even going to ask about movies because I know you'll say Tom Sellic, Harrison Ford, and Gerard Butler. blaugh

It's not exactly too personal, just not something I want to be out there for everyone to see because I think it's a bit silly. Or at least would be seen as silly by others.

@chibi: hmm I made that easier than expected.

If I can tell about how I wet my pants in front of the whole class when I was in 6th grade in here, then I think just about anything is safe to say. No one would ridicule you, no matter how silly you think your phobia is. I can share too if it helps. I have a huge fear of choking. Because of this, I am always the slowest eater at the table. I also tend not to order food with things that are overly chewy that I might not get chewed well and therefore choke on. I know it seems silly to obsess like that, but my parents had a friend who choked on a hotdog and died in a room full of people. I guess you could say that my knowledge of that event has made me overly cautious and wary. Ok! Now, it's your turn! I promise not to laugh or think ill of you! heart

My chief phobia is...snakes! Perfectly reasonable, but sometimes I take it to extremes. sweatdrop I also have this weird fear of being poisoned by trace elements of chemicals (cleaning fluids, etc.) on my hands, so when I clean house, I wash my hands obsessively, even when I just touch an unopened bottle of cleaner. Also, because of my fear of being poisoned by chemicals, I don't clean the stove with anything stronger than dish soap. It takes a TON of elbow grease to clean this way, but at least I don't have to worry about traces of cleaning fluids getting into my food somehow.

Chibi, you know I don't watch much anime, so...pbthbthbthbpth!!! razz
However, now that you've expanded it to book characters...hmm. There are so many! I think I'll pick...Sir Tristram from Georgette Heyer's adventure/romance/comedy The Talisman Ring. He's a mature, responsible adult, but he's not too "grown-up" to have fun! Perfect! 3nodding
