Don't make me get out the flyswatter. xd Yes, yes it is. xd I just always enjoy how people come in, read some of the posts, get totally freaked out, and then don't know what to post. xd At least they read some of the posts here. In the regular forums, you have to bribe people to do more than make inane comments about the title of the thread. ...of course, we're the epitome of inane, so I'll shut up now. Yeah, I didn't really appreciate the comment that girl made in the diary thread that I was transcribing from the web site. She told me that I should be writing a diary about someone who wasn't a main character, but she first post of the thread (which isn't even a paragraph long) explains that it's from the ABC site, so I have to wonder if she read anything about the thread, or why she would have skipped the first post? sweatdrop That's a good question, but we all know very few people follow logic. It should be obvious that you have to read the first post in a thread, but people are idiots. sweatdrop Well, hopefully season 2 will bring in a slew of interesting discussions, and we'll be able to quell all of the random spammage. The October death likely isn't Shannon because she pulled out of X-Men 3 for her role on "Lost." If she was going to be killed off, she probably would have taken the role in the movie and screwed the producers of Lost. At least, I know I would. xd

Yeah; Kirsten (from E!) didn't really help to clear it up.
Her clarification is that the woman being written off has an "I" in either her real name or character name.
Sun/Yunjim
Kate/Evangeline
Shannon/Maggie
Claire/Emilie
Ana-Lucia/Michelle
Danielle/Mira
But we know that Danielle's safe, as if Rose. I'm hoping it's Ana.

I seriously am too..But I think it might be Maggie. She's got a movie on the way. I know she can do both, but it would be much easier for her if she stopped the show.If you know what I mean.

I'm pretty sure that filming on "The Fog" will be finished before shooting for the second season starts, but I could be wrong.

No, not The Fog..I heard about another one. Maybe I got the actress wrong though! I'll check it again.
Alirhgt yeah, I was reading somewhere about another movie, but she's not filming it until February or March..So might not be her.
I just hope its either Kate or Ana-Lucia..I like really, really want it to be Ana-Lucia!

I'm kind of hoping that it means that the person getting written off has an 'i' in the character name and not the actor name; that would eliminate Kate, Shannon, and Sun from the running, leaving it as either Claire or Ana-Lucia. And we're all aware that Ana's much less integral to the story.

I don't think it would be Claire - what would happen to the baby then? I mean, I suppose Charlie would try to take care of it, especially since we're guarenteed that he won't die. You know what would be weird? If at the end of the series, we just have Charlie left alive out of everyone, stuck on the island with the baby (who dosn't have a name, as far as I know...)

The baby's name is Aaron; Claire named him in the second to last episode of the first season.

Unfortunately, there seems to be a consensus around the spoiler community about who's going to die this season. Now, remember, this isn't confirmed, so take this with a grain of salt, but it's quite possibly what's going to happen.
First, I'd like to add that it's been stated that the female being written off is "more Boone than Arzt" in her role on the show (meaning it's someone we've known for a while, which takes Ana-Lucia out of the running) and apparently her publicist knows that she's being fired, but has been telling the press that she isn't being fired.
All signs point to: Shannon
