Oh, you really are getting up there if you can say you can remember when movie theaters didn't have to ask you to turn off your cell phones.

I'm not getting up there. gonk Maybe it was just because my part of Nova Scotia was so long in getting mobile service, but I just started seeing the warnings in high school, and found it funny since none of my friends owned a mobile phone.

When tech reports say that the "PS2 is older then some of it's fans" and you remember when it came out.

I remember playing on the Atari system when it was new when I was young. I even remember when Nintendo and Mario Bros. was new!

I also remember that. Of course, this just drives home the fact that within less than 30 years technology has jumped incredibly.

I remember, when I was younger, I stayed over at a neighbor's house because my parents weren't going to be home for several hours. I sat in this rocking chair and played Sonic on his hand-held Sega.

I was startled yesterday while in the grocery store with my dad. This younger boy wanted a pack of balloons and I'm assuming the father wanted to know how much it was. He comes running past me, to his father, saying that they were $1.99.
To me, that was expensive. You're old when you remember how things used to be. xd

You know you're old when you can remember a time when the hand-held game of your heart was a little Yahtzee, and not something made by Nintendo.

Oh, I've got a better one.
You know you're old when you can remember a time when the hand-held game of your heart was not electronic, but a little plastic box filled with water and beads. lol Does anybody remember those? You pressed the two buttons, and little jets of air shoved the beads around?
I think those reigned supreme when Fred was getting his brontosaurus permit.

I hated trying to get those little rings to float over the pegs...and I had one with a tiny ball that was supposed to land in one of the little plastic nests. Was no good at the water games as a little one.

When you answer the phone from a telemarketer (or anyone, in general), they assume you're an adult (or old enough) to call you MA'AM.

I remember those little water-filled hand-held games... I was REALLY good at them!
You know you're getting older when you remember getting your Atari 2600, your TI 99-4A, your Mac IIcx, your first-generation iMac, your first generation Powerbook, your first generation iBook.... lol
Oh, and we had Pong. Seriously.
I'm now feeling nostalgic for my Lite-Brite... mrgreen
