Reign sort of smiled and said to Aeon, "He'll probably end up focusing more on the series than his job, like the original author...cough cough (being said, not actual coughing). I mean, come on Jiraiya, staring at the girls passing by from a roof rather than fixing the roof you're on isn't exactly a good idea..."

Jiraiya signed the inside of the cover and handed it back to Obito. "It's a good idea to stare if you're a writer. ...But...what do you mean continues my writing? Naruto isn't nearly as good as I am. Besides, he doens't think like I do when it comes to women. Though it's good to hear that Icha-Icha is still a hit. So, how many other volumes do I make?"
Jiraiya grinned. A part of him knew what was implied, whether knowingly or not, in Aeon's comment. He isn't in the future.

"Made a few volumes along with another series or two. I've read them all of course and that being said so has dad." He took the book and grinned, knowing this would get his father heated. Then he put the book in his bag and put it on. "And yeah...I've been known to stare too, Master Jiraiya is a genius."

His grin widened. "They're real beauties, aren't they. Women. I don't seem to have much luck with them, though." This wasn't directed towards women in general. It was of a particular woman.
"Anyway, we should get going if we want to make it back to the village before dark and before Kabuto wakes up."
Kirie's hand gripped Aeon's shirt as she hid her face against his body and mumbled his name in a quiet voice. She must have been dreaming about him.

Reign, very intruiguingly and strategicaly, grabbed Kabuto, making sure he held Kabuto's wrists so he couldn't touch him. (At least I don't think anyone has picked up Kabuto...)

Jiraiya waved it off. "It's allright. A lot of adults are broken. They face things they'd rather not and then don't bother to fix them. But it's not just adults who are broken. Take Naruto for example. Since he was little, he had been shunned by the village. But ever since he's become a ninja, he learned to get up and pick up his pieces and put them back together. There are now people in the village who like him. Naruto never let those pieces sit like the rest of us. Like Orochimaru."
(hehe, that would have been funny and sad if we left Kabuto there)

"Why would you care if they see you, it's not like they're afer you..." Reign thought for a moment, then said, "or do you think they are? I know a few other entrances, but you don't seem to like my clouds, so there goes the easiest, unless you change your mind about them. There are still a few other entrances, though."
