i like it the way it is in terms of subforums.
anything else would make it quite confusing.
perhaps some more images here and there (i'm not sure if thats possible)
a section for reviews, wouldnt get used much though

Ok this is a simple request i give it too you from my heart. i think Burn would be a much better community if i was accepted as jesus of burn. if mistress agrees you all do right Oh Oh I'm excited to find out what you say I'm good at playing jesus really i am

did we ever have a daytrip to towns? that was a cool idea, maybe we should have a club house? so that burners can go hang out and chat randomly when they are online.... i never use my house for anything you are welcome to use that... we can redecorate it and stuff (it's pretty crummy right now and i was hungry when i decorated - you will see what i mean if you go there razz ) let me know if this is a remotely popular idea....
i also want to know if i am being really useless, but is there a way to subscribe to the guild threads you post in? i forget where i've been and then don't go back.....
[edit] ps. for this reason pls pm about the house!

What about a book reviews/recommendations sub-forum? If you would like, I have some ideas on how this would work. There would have to be a specific format, and a poll for community book reviewing would have to be created in the threads. There would have to be no more than one thread per book.

y dont we set a date lyk for example.."Burns Anniversary Week"...(i guess it should be AN ANNIVERSARY WEEK not DAY so that if other members are busy and cant get online on the set day, they can still attend on the other day to give them opportunity to join..so yeh..i guess it should be week)..jst a suggestion from a co-member..^_^ sweatdrop smile sweatdrop smile

As for the "adding more images", I really, really want to re-do the graphics in the Welcome to Burn announcement, & have graphics at the top of each of the "Rules & Guidelines" post for each subforum.
However, I want the graphics to be really awesome, & it seems nearly impossible to find a really awesome graphic artist around here who doesn't take like two months to finish your order & doesn't demand that you have all the details of what you want the graphics to look like all planned out [I mean, come on, why do most graphic makers demand that? It looks so bad on their part].
@ Kagebure: Uh, you can be Jesus in some weird Role Playing thing...
@ blacvamp: I know... everyone loves the Art Contest. It's costing me a fortune, but whatever keeps my beloved members happy blaugh
@ village: The truth is, I don't really know crap about towns & never go there.
I have a house decorated all super-duper-tacky 50s diner style blaugh . If there's a "club house" for Burn, it should probably be mine, seeing as I'm the captain. Perhaps I'll post the URL or whatever of my house somewhere & you town people can do with it what you'd like blaugh
@ cute prince: Burn's Anniversary is in September. We'll worry about that then.
@ Hippie: I can't imagine what would be in a comics area [NOBODY reply to that statement by saying "comics"] , & I can't imagine it getting like any posters

chatterbox.so short ones can be added as well. or general discussion merhaps?
the guild needs more contests.
i know they are a lot of effort, but we had seperate funds itd be easier.
just a thought. as there isnt much choice for contests.

since burn has so many artists and most have benefited from the art contest, why not have a guild art auction in the main forums for the purpose of gaining gold to fund future contests and art contests?
tho not everyone won in the contest but everyone who joined got inspired in some ways or learned a few new tricks/techniques doing an entry or just plain had a chance to practice their skill, it won't be asking much from them to participate in a guild art auction. biggrin
just an idea ^^
